    very good!! but the archer has the breathing in reverse order than as you said it, it should be: draw the bow (stretch): inhale, release the bow (hands relax back to the center): exhale

    Thank youu nick! There are some aspects missing here that I quite enjoyed from other teachers (such as the slamming of the heels) but what I haven't found quite readily is the actual attention to qi manipulation. I do this mostly for energy work over health but most of the videos out there are health-focused; I really enjoyed working with the qi ball!! I'll definitely be checking out more of your stuff

    Thank you for explaining the movements. I wanted to try this form of qi gong, but I only found these exercises accompanied with background music.
    While the music is soothing, I need to know the correct form so I don't accidentally do something to cause injury.

    Thank you for this video, Nick!
    I had stopped practicing for a while and this seems like the perfect one to get me back into it. I’m going to do this one every day for two weeks and I’ll track how it’s going!
    Also, I loved the twilight landscape and the sound of the crickets - gorgeous.
    Thanks again for the awesome qigong content!

    Hi Nick. Good explanations of the way the qi is moving with each form. Did you miss out the 8th movement where you bounce on the heels?

    Could you say more about the time commitment for your 12 week course?

    • @TheNickLoffree
      @TheNickLoffree  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya, it is a 2-3 hour live zoom class every week (on Saturdays or as a replay anytime), then about an hour of pre-recorded learning videos per week. Other than that it’s just however much time you want to spend on personal practice :)

    Hi Nick, I am curious about the breathing in Drawing the bow in this version. I always thought the inhale happened when the bow was drawn and exhale as we bring hands back to the chest. Is this version deliberately in reverse with the breath or have I misunderstood the instructions?
