Now this is really giving up real juice , started doing this last summer when I found a great deal on the Zman TRD spinz, bought about 20 packs , been doing all kinds of experiments with some good results , last month we were at Chickamauga and throwing small keitech swimbaits , I cut the tail off of one and added a willow spin and started catching fish, then did the same thing to a keitech on a scrounger head , deadly combo
Yea I been doing it on a swimbait for a hot minute. My trick was doing it with an underspin as well. But try the colorado for the tail, It will look a little better with a swimbait
Thank you for the tips that you provide in all your videos they have been very helpful in improving my fishing skill. Im a amateur at best but I’m trying to work my way up and this one right here I’ll definitely try
This has worked for years, salt & freshwater... perch and other baitfish can be a real problem at time's... but can also be worthwhile. Bring more than one.
I started it using those vmc hooks and like ya said it can change the action and I was noticing when I put them on a red eye shad it was making the bait run straight with now vibration
Thanks for this awesome bass fishing tip. I used a colorado blade on atrached to a creature like bait and caught muskies. Im going to try this for bass.
Awesome video Tyler! I can't believe I haven't did that yet. Lol I order Owners hooks all the time. Iam going to order some hook blades. Thanks for the tip.👍
Another really good video you can learn from. Aside from the occasional mention of some alien technology called "chatterbait," his videos are entertaining, easy to follow, and even an old guy like moi learns from him.
This spinner rig was developed by a fisherman in Louisiana who fished on Caddo Lake on the border of Texas and Louisiana several years ago, just FYI!!!
Hey I just thought about using my swim worms with a flashy swimmer, I use the vmc trebles on my lipless cranks alot, idk how I never thought of using a flashy swimmer with a swim worm.. smh Thanks Tyler.
Used many of the blade rigs and found they didn't catch more or bigger fish than my own hybrid (Frankenstein) soft plastics. Flash may help a bit, but not enough to spend money on those in the ad/video.
Adding a blade to a jerkbait will stop it from suspending and adding one to a spook will inhibit its action. Adding bladed hooks to crankbaits, jigs and soft plastics does work well.
Worms are already to expensive to be adding a spinner blades even if it is effective! I also don't do tournaments so not trying to edge out any competition. I will at some point give it a try and like you said you will lose some. Long term & regular use is not on the radar, $$$... Perhaps there is a way to hard mount the spinner and have it at the tail of a senko!?
Littally got a pack of these owner screw in for worms. Think I got a pack in mystery tackle box, I bought at wal marts. Never used them still in the pack in my fishing back pack.
Interesting ideas to try though not for the reasons given in the video. Fish strike lures - not because of what they represent, but because of the way they look and move in the water. Any effective lure design will catch fish - all year - not just when conditions are (supposedly) ideal. The idea of lure modification is the best message the video has to offer. Beyond that, not of much interest to those of us that have modified and made lures for decades. JMHO

Started using the Owner Flashy Swimmer and it has increased my catches significantly. Thank you Tyler.
That is one slick rig appreciate the mention homie! You put together some great instructional content!

@@maximusmeridious7655 I mostly use the gold Colorado unless I'm at a lake with shad then I have found the willow seems to be more effective
Thanks Tyler, I will give it a try and see how it work in SC....Hartwell is next for me.....

Shhhh this is a SECRET
Or is it… 😂
You do a great job with your videos. I enjoy them, and if I am not careful.. I learn something!
Wakebaits have been the magic lure for me in the last 5 years more 5 + fish in the last few years than ever!
Good stuff. Can’t wait to play around in spring
I have seen this used but never tried it. It will be used this year. Thank you for the reminder.
Great ideas. Will need to try this spring ( as long as I remember) 😃🎣
That's the real problem...
@@plitz That's for sure!
My brother got a tip from a local pro here in Florida and it works really well. I will say it definitely attracts a lot of mudfish/bowfin/snakehead

Been doing it on plastic worms for years!!!!! It really does work!
Thanks for this awesome bass fishing tip. I used a colorado blade on atrached to a creature like bait and caught muskies. Im going to try this for bass.
Poche a Bass Pro from Louisiana has successfully used spinners on Worms for years! It works! At least in muddy (merky) water!
Great timing! I’ve been tinkering my tackle for a few hours today.
Thats awesome Richard! Its always fun tinkering!
I saw that Mikeybalzz video a week ago. You just added a whole new set of options. Lots of good stuff from you AGAIN.
Awesome video Tyler! I can't believe I haven't did that yet. Lol I order Owners hooks all the time. Iam going to order some hook blades. Thanks for the tip.👍
Thanks for watching Terry! I am a huge fan of Owner hooks as well!
Loving this channel.
Another great video bro. I will definitely give this a try
Thanks for always watching!
@@BassFishingHQ my pleasure dude. Hopefully I can come up from Kentucky and fish with you Brother
I like the video storm lures came out with little colorado blade on the back of swim bait years a go
What’s a kytech style bait? I’ve seen swim baits. Is kytech a brand?
Great tip, dude. Thanks!
Will the blade on the back make the bass bite the back end? Away from the hook?
I’ve been doing this for a long time works really good
what size was the willow blade your uncle used?
Man the ole kicker blade on a center pin in a senko has absolutely busted that bass in the grass a many a day in the summer on lake chickamauga!
Just watched the Mikey video too! Thanks for this!
Dang the juice is out!

Makes sense, Louisiana is where Keith Poche is from!

Can you just simply attach an ‘underspin’ blade with hook? Same principle right?

Been adding a little willow blade on the end of my senko’s for yeaarrssss, thought I had figured something out that no one else knew 😂 guess not..
I have 1/8 oz spin trap it works great in late summer this is true!!!!!!!
Great ideas
Thanks for that awesome tip and trick going to give it a shoot.
Great job thanks
Great video 📹 👍

You could take a needle and run some fluoro to your hook so it stays solid and you don’t lose a spinner
I have seen Scott Martin use these a couple years ago.
Givin away my juice..lol..
They just work.
,very nice tip thanks
Great info
Great video
so we gona start seeing hundreds of slung out worm spinners in the water
Oh yeah, I put a blade on the end of my Ned rig worms, rig them weedless with an EWG and bring them over vegetative cover. Made a video on it.
Dang, 1 year ago?
I can’t believe I missed this one
Kudos Tim Horton
Dart spin... check out that bait
Wow, your uncle and I could be long lost twins. Except I've lost about 130lbs. 😃
The spinner on the back of a stick bait looks like a great idea….but I’m in college.😢
Littally got a pack of these owner screw in for worms. Think I got a pack in mystery tackle box, I bought at wal marts. Never used them still in the pack in my fishing back pack.
Im going to add it to my swimjig and be a spinnerbait again
heck yea i was thinking what if we bottom hopped an A-rig with senkos on it?
Good video
Option #10,587 on rigging a lure. Sometimes I think it gets to be too much. Just my humble opinion.
You are definitely correct
I wish you spent more time in your boat when making videos.
Hey quite telling people about this it needs to go away lol
