I have fished all these and they work really well. The one thing I add to the shakey head senko is that I keep some bamboo skewers in the boat and I add about an inch inserted into the tail. It will make the tail float up and adds secondary action to the lure. Great video.
If you're going to throw it on the jig head, I suggest using the Yum dinger. They don't have the salt content, but they're made with a stiffer plastic and hold up alot better, plus they're half the price.
Been using jig head wacky for years. Great for smallmouth in a clear lake. Chartreuse jig head with baby-bass color. Three small hops followed by a big one and rest, every time. Also, probably been said before, but NOTHING works as well as the original Yamamoto...be it the formula or whatever. Yes they're fragile and relatively pricey, but if you still catch more fish per unit it's worth it.
For the rig with bullet weight - I do that for my worms except I slide the top bobber stop up about 1.5 feet or so from bullet weight. The bass don’t feel the weight right away when they pick up the worm, and I seem to get more takers than bite and run. Did well this last summer with 7” Robo Worms. Will have to give the Senko a try that way.
I watched your video about the bladed senko earlier this summer. I tried it for the first time during a club tournament in Ohio, which we were fishing midnight to 8am. Black and blue fleck with a small willow blade. The 3rd cast I caught a 6.03 LB Bass. I won big bass and took 3rd place. The blade added is definitely a game changer.
The videos are always full of Spam when you gonna start telling the truth and stop lying for companies to speak.Because they give you money doesn't mean you should lie to us about bates
@@live2fishofficial You should know Joe! 😁 How do like those Yamamoto Yamatanuki? I got some late summer , kinda like them. Unlike the Buckeyes play calling today. They beat themselves ☹️
Hahahahaha! Yep, those Senkos gave me a PB! I like the Yamatanuki. It’s great dragging like a tube for smallies on LSC. Sorry about those Buckeyes man…
I've been fishing all those techniques, except the third one, for a long time now, the blade on the tail of the sensor was something my uncle taught me decades ago when I first was taught about bass fishing. Yes, they do catch alot of bass and big ones
Great video. I love the information. I like shakey head fishing, but as you said I usually use a Zoom trick work. I think I tried a senko before with no luck, but after watching your video I guess I will have to try some stick baits. Im thinking of trying a zman huka stickz. 1) for the bouyancy factor to stand up better 2) mayybe for the little tentacles tail . What do you think?
thanks for the video man! always appreciate the tips. especially in the tipless land of canada lol you are my only source that has kinda the same temps and waterbodies.
Lake fork is filled with trees and I almost hate it 🤣. I stay like 20 minutes from lake fork. Next time yall are in Texas try using some big spoons. I don’t know why the bass have been hitting them. I just decided to throw it one day and now I keep one tired on.
I've been using the Senko for about 9-months now, standard with 3/16 oz bullet weight, non-pegged and man, I haven't had any luck. Could be my technique but I have thrown the zoom 10.5" curly tail worms and they work. Could also just be the fish in this particular pond. I'm going to give that bladed Senko a shot though!
I’ve never caught a fish on a senko but my go to even though I don’t see it a lot is a single tail grub 4-5 inches in like a Texas rig style rig with a 3-4 size hook I’ve done both weight less and with weight but that’s what works for me I’m fairly new to fishing so might be using the wrong terms but yeah I would love to use senkos but just never get a bite on them maybe I am fishing them wrong
Been fishing the bladed senko on a shakey head for about 8 years...that also was a Poche thing as I recall, lots cheaper to make them yourself than buy them from BassPro.
Honestly I’m more of a local sports team hat guy always, but that mofo right there 🔥. After All the binge watching of your videos and seeing the hats you got me 😅 I will definitely be supporting with a purchase of that one. Some of the best Content and merch 🫡.
I quit using Yamamoto crap years ago. I got tired of casting my worm off the hook. I switched to basspro stik-o's. Twice as many baits for the same money and I've caught shitloads of fish with them. Your welcome.
No doubt about it…I’ve been fishing for the better part of 40 years and my PB largemouth JUST landed this year on the Senko. There’s just something about it…
You know a lot of people hate Googan but the Lunker Log is the closest alternative to a Yamamoto senko I have found as far as softness and salt content
Great video. Going to try the petey rig on some shell bars here in Florida. Some times they just won’t take a Texas or wacky rig. Been using the bladed rig for several years and thought of it as a secret lure. It can really turn them on in the reeds. Best damn fishing channel in the web. This thing should be growing like wildfire. Best video ever was of course, the skipping video. Damn you’re good. I can skip but come on man….you are wicked. I just can’t get it close to your ability.
Poche’s first classic appearance is where I first remember seeing the tail-gun blade on a senko. If i remember correctly, he finished very high on that rig… I had a friend that doesn’t fish a lot put a 1/4 oz walleye style jighead and a 5” wacky senko on behind me this summer…we were fishing 6-12’. He killed me until I put on the heavy head too, there is no “wrong” way to fish a senko some days.
This is not only one of the cheapest artificial baits on the market but is also one of the worst. I have never caught a fish with 1 of 20th I have never even gotten a bite or a noble. I have never seen anyone catch a fish on one of these. Unlike this guy in the video, I'm not going to lie to you guys. These Bates do not work, do not waste. Your time or your money? I know this for a fact first-hand they do not work. I own these Bates and I thrown them away because they don't work. I have people giving them to me for free. Because they don't work. I go to all of the sporting goods stores and all the bait shops local to me and miles away. And they sell these things for under a dollar.
I always put senkos on shakey heads. Nobody ever told me they couldn’t and I didn’t even know there were other worms for that haha. They catch smallmouth around here.
You know, you have the worst most clickbait titles I have ever seen. None of these techniques is anything new at all....I was duped into thinking there would be something cool like a new japanese technique, or a backglide senko technique or something. You do have some good information from time to time, but almost every time I click one of your vids, I am duped, and the title is not what it seems. I understand it is all to get views...and I know it's your thing, but I went like 6 months ignoring your vids whenever they popped in my feed, and the last 2 weeks i think I clicked on a couple vids, and I was finally just like "yeah im out" so I unsubbed, but I know you teach a lot of newer anglers, and I do wish you the best of luck.....It's just not my thing man, I can't do the clickbaity titles anymore.
30% Off Senkos (11/25/23 ONLY) - rebrand.ly/tgp12sk
I have fished all these and they work really well. The one thing I add to the shakey head senko is that I keep some bamboo skewers in the boat and I add about an inch inserted into the tail. It will make the tail float up and adds secondary action to the lure. Great video.
Good tip, Thanks
No they don't

Ironic that I catch all mine on yum dingers and can't catch a snag with a senko

Another good one man. Ill be trying these out. Tight lines from the Dayton area!!!!
From Fairborn here.
Omnia is a great place. Love the discounts, no tax, and no shipping. It’s definitely worth the membership
Especially when they offered it free, not sure when it ends but I'm definitely going to sign back up
No shipping 😂😂😂😂😂 I'm fucking high dude. I was like "wtf you mean they don't ship" but you mean free shipping😂😂😂😂

Love the Shakey head jig. Sometimes I fish it jig worm style with a moon eye jig too.
A local south east Ohio TH-camr nailed a 5lb bass kayak fishing at a local lake. A blue Yamamoto senko wacky weightless was the weapon!
It’s magic!💯
@@live2fishofficial You should know Joe! 😁 How do like those Yamamoto Yamatanuki? I got some late summer , kinda like them. Unlike the Buckeyes play calling today. They beat themselves ☹️

Sorry about those Buckeyes man…
@@live2fishofficial The Buckeyes was still in it till that last interception aww well, I like ice hockey way better
Awesome information.. thank you so much for sharing..I love throwing a senko on a shakey head. Can't wait to try it on a jig head.
I've been fishing all those techniques, except the third one, for a long time now, the blade on the tail of the sensor was something my uncle taught me decades ago when I first was taught about bass fishing. Yes, they do catch alot of bass and big ones
Been using the peety / mojo / split shot rig a long time. A very productive setup 👍
I use mostly a three inch pink Senko on a dropshot rig and seem to do pretty good with that
I tried a tube jig head with rattles on it for a wacky rig this past summer. It worked, plan to try it some more next year.
Great video. I love the information. I like shakey head fishing, but as you said I usually use a Zoom trick work. Would love to see your inside thoughts on ShakyHead fishing. Your setup, etc. See so many people like, casting reels and so many like spinning.
thanks for the video man! always appreciate the tips. especially in the tipless land of canada lol you are my only source that has kinda the same temps and waterbodies.

Great video!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!
I have had pretty good success with the core tackle hover rig with the senco
lol, yea that's a carolina rig. Good w senkos hooked that way, though the curly tail or floating trick worm with do the trick as well.
Love the content boss , do a video on the different weights of soft plastics!
Thanks Tyler 👊 Gonna try these this coming season 😎
Love the Petey rig idea. You can bring it back to the hook and do a normal Texas rig. Two bobber stops love it
I never knew it was called the Petey rig but I have been using that set up for a while. It is a great technique when the bite is tough.
I bet you I will
True lol
Well played sir!😊
Definitely gonna try these. Great tip video as always
Another great video. You are amazing. You definitely know your bass fishing.
Cool to see you with Omnia now.
Salute! For giving peter t the credit due him.

Great tips and few more in your comments 👏 👏
Good stuff! Another awesome one is to use scissors ✂️ and quarter the weightless tip of a neko rig.
Could you please do a walk through of your new boat? Thanks
It’s coming!

thank you for the info you forgot one its called weedless

Is it usually a good idea to match the color of the jig head with the color bait you're using??
In Canada your looking at 10-12.00 a pack
Just what i need,........More Senkoos.😂😂. I think there a over 50 bags in various colors in stock 😅😅. Very helpful Video nevertheless 😊😊
I haven't bought yamamoto since they got bought out.
Curious, are you going to get an Omnia discount code?
The Petey rig is also known as the Mojo rig and has been around for year and years.
I fish a stick bait on a shakey head most the time especially if they're not committing and only getting the tail off the worm
Great video
You know a lot of people hate Googan but the Lunker Log is the closest alternative to a Yamamoto senko I have found as far as softness and salt content
KINDA LIKE A MOJO RIG. NICE VID
Wow great educational vid as always, definitely going to try this keep the content going❤❤❤
It won’t work in San Diego?
Shakey head with spotted bass it seems like a senko works way better than any other baits
I don't fish without Gary's Senko worm
Great video. Going to try the petey rig on some shell bars here in Florida. Some times they just won’t take a Texas or wacky rig.

It’s the only worm I use for my wacky rig, gg
Open faced real beats bait caster 😂😂 every time
Not a Seko guy! But those 4 techniques are very interesting? Thanks
Poche’s first classic appearance is where I first remember seeing the tail-gun blade on a senko. If i remember correctly, he finished very high on that rig…

I’ve probably have caught 10x more fish on a wacky worm than all other lures combined😂
I Cinco is the easiest bait to rig. I don’t need a bus fisherman to tell me how to wacky rig and flip them out there. It’s not a secret.😅😅😅
i know a shop selling senkos for 5.99
Is the Pete rig not just a mojo rig?😂
Im more of a zoom finesse trick worm guy
Gotta be killing you to not be out in that cool new boat.
Ohio sucks in the winter. Getting ready to head south soon though :)
Petey = Mojo rig
New Balance king had the hookset for a whale.
watched it. rigged it the same just because of this clickbait title. worked and caught a fish.
media college: lie
youtuber: done
Way too much social media , you go ahead and. I guess you have to talk too much for all the FFS ers’ . Oh yea , all about the money . I get it . Sad
So, we've just collectively forgotten what a Carolina rig is and now renamed it. ok. whatever.

That’s your opinion but for me this was all new so it was true in my case.
