    Your review was very helpful for me in determining which Crown I order! Previously I couldn’t decide on barrel length or kit. I have decided to go with 500 mm barrel. Thank you for this thorough and honest review!

    Excellent review just bought fx crown continuum in .22 high power love it with 380mm barrel makes for a extremely well balanced gun agree with you about the mag it definitely could be better but over all gun is a dream to shoot love your channel

      Thanks for the comments I have another mag now the same for my FX dreamline and it works fine….. I filed out the hole of the mag wheel on my Crown one a lot and now seems much much better but shouldn’t need reworking 🤨

    Great review! I didn't even notice the port for slugs on the barrel.. planned on only shooting slugs. Also I thought the same about the sling studs so I went ahead and ordered a set from amazon. The brand was Anovo. Required drilling two small holes but was well worth it when I no longer had to carry the gun in one hand. Also applied some JB Weld adhesive before screwing in to make sure I wasn't gonna loose my baby lol. When screwing near the tank make sure to not drill into tank and when inserting stud put a piece of paper between the gap and make sure it can pass through! Hope this helps you out!

      @FacelessFarmer420 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also if they were to come out you can always fill the holes with epoxy then paint to match so no harm no foul! Make sure you use a smaller sized drill bit then your stud and work your way up until you can tightly screw the stud in. Very important had to mention. Keep making the great content!!

    I’m just thinking about buying one of these and found your video whilst searching for reviews. Very disappointing to hear your comments on the magazine’s shortcomings. This is just unacceptable on a rifle at this price point. I have an Impact M3 and, whilst not quite as bad as your Crown, the magazine isn’t great - I’ve found that the main screw (through the centre) unscrews itself as the magazine is repeatedly reloaded, eventually making it impossible to feed into the block. My solution was to replace with Eaglevision’s version which is made from aluminum. FX need to get these magazines sorted - imo plastic isn’t sufficiently robust. Great review, thank you

      Great comment thanks I must say the newer mags seem much better but the eagle vision one look exceptional 👍

    Good honest review ,i have mk1 ,like u said ,should have for that price the stock studs or rail for attachments !
    The trigger for me is the biggest let down ,ok for hunting work ,but for target work it’s hard work ,you can as i have done NOT recommend purchase a Huma air upgrade trigger for it ,,,but they send u a bag of bits NO instructions ,no screw to attach the new block ,no spring ,the original is to weak ,if your very brave and have a couple of weeks/months to mess with it ,it works in a fashion ,but not the safety can’t get that to work ,so if your happy with the trigger of the FX Crown don’t mess !

      @LRHVerminControl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great comment, for me the trigger is fine if not really good but it is in hunting environment 👍

    The port does make a difference. I normally set my port on med and the hammer spring knob on 4 or c, which gives me good power. My 22 is the 380 mm barrel and it shoots 14.3 pellets @ 990 fps, 16 gr pellets @ 975 fps, and 18 grain at 960 fps. That's with my power wheel and port set on max, My hammer spring is set 2 turns from max and my reg is set @155. Don't like the 700 mm barrel because its too long but it came with the crown. wish I could trade it for a 500 mm barrel. If you put the 700 mm barrel on the crown your fps goes up by 100 to 125 fps. When I put he 700mm barrel on my gun, a 14.3 grain pellet gets me 1115-1125 fps and I could get more power if I set the reg to 170, and adjust the hammer spring to max. The crown is one hell of a gun and so is the Impact MK3 which I have also. Love them both and for the power they are accurate as hell. Also with the setting I did on my gun I get 72 full shots (4 mags) before I have to air up

      Thanks for sharing your setups, a few questions...#1 Are you shooting the current FX Crown MKII?, my understanding from talking to FX USA, that the Crown now has the hammer wheel in 26 indexed settings... #2 Do you prefer the Crown 380mm. or the M3 Impact for off hand shooting and why? #3 which pellet of the 3 grains you mentioned are most accurate in your Crown? I also have the .25 cal Impact M3 600mm, and the previous 2019 .22 cal FX Crown synthetic gen 2 in the 500mm., however I am very interested in the newer .22 cal Crown MKII, with the larger plenum & valve, and in the 380mm shorter barrel length, and the black pepper wood stock for mostly off hand shooting.

      @@larrywcollins Its the crown continnum mark II. Mines goes from max down to low or A to low. (12 settings).For me probably the crown because of the balance with the 380 barrel. Pellet wise all three grains I mention shoot great, but the 16 grain H&N terminators are my go to pellet in 22 cal. (As I say, That's what MY GUN likes) 18 grain do very well also and so do the 14 grains, just have to turn the power down when shooting 14 grains. I mostly shoot hollow point pellets/slugs for the damage they do but my crown will shoot almost any pellet good. The other reason I like the crown over the impact is because it's lighter. My impact is accurate as hell also and it even shoots the H&N grizzles good. As for as zeroing my guns I have a old toaster (is no good anymore) that I set my guns on, (I don't use any vices) and I start out at 25 yrds to see where my pellets are hitting, then I set them up for 50 yrds. Then I shoot them off hand to make sure they are zeroed in. From there I normally just have to adjust the scope when I shoot different pellets. For example if Im shooting the Hunter extremes 18.5 and the switch over to the crosman 14.3 HP, I normally have to adjust my scope few clicks down because they are hitting high.

      Thank you for your comments and sharing your experience. I am still new to the pcp sport and very much appreciate the response. The FX Crown, I recently held, and looked at purchasing just "feels" so well balanced in the 380mm, for off hand. My Impact M3 600mm. 25cal is nice, but heavy....If I may ask for some more advice....what scope would you prefer for off-hand shooting on the Crown if you had the choice between the Hawke Airmax 30wa compact 4-16x44 2nd focal plane and the Hawke Airmax 4-16x50 First Focal plane for the new Crown MkII ? I have the Hawke Airmax compact Second Focal plane scopes on my existing FX rifles, and like the lighter weight, the reticle ( I'm used to it) and the side parallax focus wheel. Most of my intended squirrel shots with the new Crown MK II 380mm .22.cal would be 50 yards or less. Is it possible to easily adapt to 2 different type of scopes? There is supposed to be a benefit to FFP.

    i have the same problem, but is easy to solve.
    You have to take the magazine apart and very carefully smoothen the inside (bottom) with very fine sand paper, and the axis in the middle as well. because there are very small burrs from making the magazines. if you do this, you have to fit the inside piece without the spring every time, do the inside piece as well .and that way you will feel that it will suddenly go super smooth. and then a bit of silcon oil and put it back together again

    • @LRHVerminControl
      @LRHVerminControl  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah great comments I have sorted it but I had to file a load of material from the hole way to much than ever should need I tried several times finely sanding it but just kept sticking so gave it a good file and sanded it smooth now works almost faultless

    Great video! The best one i have seen on the MKII. How rigid is the barrel/Shroud? Any shift in impact if bumped?

    • @LRHVerminControl
      @LRHVerminControl  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve not noticed any significant poi shift when bumped but like I said I’m not target shooting etc
      I do take care when transporting it etc not to have it squashed I always leave it on top of what I’m carrying etc if you look after it seems ok
      Thanks for your comment

    • @LRHVerminControl

      Thanks for comment, I’ve not really tested at the lower power settings but by adjusting the port settings and hammer spring I would guess almost any lower velocity would be available

    Hi I enjoyed your post the only thing I don’t like is the price of these guns I have a 22lr and for the money if you have a fac the 22lr is in my opinion the way to go there a fraction of the price and you don’t need a bottle or pump to fill sure the FX is a beautiful gun but way way to expensive
