Hi welcome to LRH Vermin Control
I carry out vermin control in the south west of England using rifles and air rifles
I'm currently using rimfire rifles and air rifles - CZ457 in 22lr & Lithgow Arms 101 both in 22lr & 17Hmr and FX Impact M3 in .25 and FX Crown MKII in .22 caliber both are FAC rated - high power. I also own a few 12flb air rifles which are our legal power limit in England without FAC (fire arms certificate)
Also shotgun 12g over and under
I'm posting videos of my trips and shots etc when i can get video footage to make a video of this
It includes Rabbit and Gray Squirrel control also some pigeon and corvid control and i'm always on the lookout for more permissions
If you are in the south west of England and have an area or permission I could shoot at and possibly film get in touch !
also i'm doing reviews and overviews etc of the equipment i use
To contact me direct email me @ lrhvermincontrol@gmail.com

Nice to see you back 👍👍
Whats the scope
Wulf 4K …. Don’t think you can get them anymore but it works very well
Cool video and I'm glad your feeling all better now, that's a bummer about your pulsar scope 🫣🫣 I just got that Scope in your video, the Wraith 4 K max 3-24x50, I've still to try it but it's a nice piece of kit 👍👍catch you on your next video and have a great weekend 👌✌️👍
Blaming the weather, you fair weather shooter lol , great work buddy ,I only went out to re zero my zulus today, and I was shivering ,glad when it warms up a bit to get them wabbits on a warm summers evening 😊
Do you still use your alpex 4k?
Yes just need the right permission as it’s on my FX Crown FAC this one much too close to the feeder really for that power etc
Good session again pal. Yes would be nice to see a ratting or rabbiting video..👍
Most my rabbits have disappeared from my golf course permissions ☹️
The ballistic coefficient BC = mass/coefficient of drag x cross sectional area - thus if you have the BC fir your slug its implicit the mass is included
Should have listened in maths class
Thank you for the excellent content here Lee. I've been heavily researching these 4K NV units (NV400 & NV500 Eagle, DNT Zulus, Sightmark, Pard, etc.) and narrowed it down to the NV500 Eagle (w/ the 2x lens which is the highest magnification currently available) which I just ordered from Oneleaf. I'm fairly certain the display screen on the NV500 scope is exactly the same as the NV400. I've just learned that while the NV400 and NV500 Eagle sensor is the same as in the Zulus (Sony Starvis 2 - which is VERY near 4K resolution), as is the video recording resolution (also 4K), the Zulus has an OLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 (at least full HD resolution) where the NV400 and NV500 Eagle have an LCoS display with a MUCH lower refresh rate and only 1280x960 resolution. I realize the NV500 Eagle has better features/functionality than the Zulus in almost every other aspect, but it's a bit more expensive and I believe the display resolution and refresh rate would be a very important feature on these video scopes. I plan to use this on rats and pigeons at night on my .22 PCP air rifle (4-60 yards) and my .223 AR-15 for coyotes and feral pigs out to about 275 yards max - and some general daytime use on both rifles. For my purposes, do you believe the Zulus may have been better suited? I would just expect the 13x digital zoom on the Eagle is probably going to already be fairly grainy in the higher end of the zoom range. Thank you!
I’ve not had my hands on a NV500 but looks good and address a lot of the not so good issues with the NV400 such as size and weight etc Both scopes are really good and almost impossible to split so you just have to go with the one you fancy most? Great comment thanks 👍
Thank you for the quick response Lee! I will just have to check out the resolution/quality of display when it arrives. With Oneleaf releasing 4x and 5x lenses for the NV500 Eagle shortly, I will likely pick up one of those for my longer range work. I also have the option of going with a longer range illuminator - perhaps in 940nm to keep from spooking the coyotes. Rhank you again Lee - looking forward to your future content!
Have they fixed the 3.5-7.5 jump in any recent updates?
No update last time I checked a while ago 🤷♂️
What is ur best ammo for hunting in ur fx pl
In the fx crown .22 I’m currently using fx hybrids they do seem to be very accurate and the expansion very good but expensive I like to use jsb hades for pellets I do like to use expanding ammo for hunting if possible and both these are very accurate in my rifle
@LRHVerminControl Thank you very much
I use Hades in my pathfinder in .22 cal as well as all my ither rifles. 👍🤔
hi buddy did you set the bc up through the main menu in the actual scope. or did you have to send the details through a app from your phone. i only ask because ive got a zulus and carnt set that up.the only advice ive been given is send it through the app. please tell me this hik is easier than the arken. cheers
Did all my settings up directly on the scope itself

I am researching new day/night scopes. I want a scope type setup so that rules out the Zulus. I have a Pard DS35 50LRF so x4 to x8 which is perfect for sub 12 airgun ranges more so than the DS35 70LRF. I just need a second scope for my other rifle. Watching this I might get another DS35 50LRF.
The pard is a great scope for sub 12 and more I like its light weight and easy of use and the eye box is incredible just not a big fan of its zoom ranges….. don’t understand why they just don’t make one 3 to 18 ish type zoom The Hikmicro alpex is great scope and I’m sure there update it and sort the bugs etc but it’s heavier and a little more in-depth to use maybe but it’s picture and zoom is really good so better perhaps for longer distances and I really like the recticle choice and the recording view too Both great scopes 🤷♂️
@ I agree a x3 t0 x20 on a pard would be great. I have a spare Hw100kt that I want to use as a fixed distance 20 yard squirrel gun. I am tempted by the good offers on the Pard DS35 50 non lrf £412. What do u think?
I fix those magazines disassemble it ( watch the two tiny springs and ball bearings inside and the o-ring) use fine wet & dry paper and remove plastic from both halves of the central spindle, grease and reassemble with the desired rotary spring pressure
What jacket is that, is ir a soft shell thanks
Jack pyke hunter jacket 👍
You are simply firing them too fast!
Brilliant review 👍 I have tried both and the pard ds is the one i kept the alpex was to big and heavy and less user friendly and just generally to big yes it’s good quality but the view through the pard is much more natural like a glass scope the alpex also had an image delay in daylight mode but pard zero image delay i was told the alpex was massively better than the pard but tested at 500 yards the pard was better as the alpex on full zoom was just to pixelated and at almost 3lb with ir i think its ridiculous compared to the 1.5lb pard
Great video i just bought one and honestly it’s not for me to big and heavy for starters and not as easy to use as the pard so i didn’t even mount it to a rifle just send it back i couldn’t believe how big the scope was to be honest
You must be very small🤣🤣🤣
Great video, is the battery removable or built in?
It’s built in
if you click on fixed reticle the cross hairs stays were you zeroe eg 3"to the left 5" high go to the one below and set continuouse lets the increments go up in short steps .when you set centeral retical at 3.5 it shows the reticle where you set up 3" left 5" high and the cross hairs then jumps to the centre of the screen at 7 mag and goes up in incriments and stays centre hope this helps
Hello Lee, They were super accurate, humane shots. Thank you for going to the trouble of filming them. That looks like a really great setup you have there. That's my favourite part of the week, being sat with my trusty air rifle. If I don't shoot, it's not the end of the world. I just love being around nature. It's amazing what you see once you're settled and still. I've wrapped up for Christmas now. There's just too much to do. I'll be looking forward to starting again, as soon as possible, afterwards I hope you have a great Christmas and New Year. Best wishes, from Ian.
Very nice.....👍👍
Hi what's the name of the scope
The scope is a Wulf 4K
Do you keep your batterys in your inside pocket to keep warm ,and them squirrels sat on the floor gave a right Hollywood shot act 😅,nice work buddy
Google says, squirrels chirp when they get excited, bark when they feel threatened and whistle when they feel happy. Hope that helps.
Great video mate, just found your channel and subscribed straight after watching it 👍
Thanks hope you enjoy watching 👍
The one @10:40 was either angle, fat or pregnant
If you haven’t checked your zero don’t take the shot. They will always come back another day.
Great shooting Lee as always, nice set up you have. Did you forget ya cookies?
Great shots Right in the noggin. I think they smelling your coffee lol. 😂
thank you for the video

How can I set in laser that it always goes to use? With me it can only be seen and used with the 3.5 magnification. As I zoom, the measuring point has disappeared! Thank you
Yeah mine was same till I zeroed it on my FAC air rifle I’ve heard many people with the same problem mostly using sub 12 etc ? Unfortunately you can’t adjust the laser aim point 🤷♂️
How can you change the location of the lrf box?
You can’t unfortunately! mine just changed after I zeroed the scope to my rifle …… I got lucky I guess it’s in the right position
Continuous: The digital zoom ratio can be set to 3.5X, 7.5x, 8.5x, 9.5x … 28x. Multiple: The digital zoom ratio can be set to 3.5×, 7×, 14×, and 28×. Take you have it set on the correct setting? Just asking.......
Yes it should zoom 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, etc etc incrementally single digit when setting to continuous And 3.5x, 7x, 14x, 28x, on multiple but it keeps loosing the first individual steps from 3.5x to 7.5x no x in between just jumping from 3.5x to 7 It keeps working individually until I use a feature???? Then starts back jumping the first digits of the zoom again???? Needs new update to fix it correctly 🤷♂️
@@LRHVerminControl just bought the none lrf model done the update the incriments only work on fixed crosshair and jump when on central needs a update to solve the problem i have a pulsar c50 never had a problem
Excellent video.. im actually sitting in the house now waiting for DPD to drop mine off , early lunchbreak from work 😁...

Good vid bud 👍love me alpex brilliant scope .
ZMRDI👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽
Some great shooting and I think the scope footage looks great! I don't know why, but I really like the rounded "scope" edge of the screen.
Brilliant job. I've got a similar setup. I've got the same hide scope and tripod. An it works a treat the hide even keeps you slightly warm as it protects you from the wind etc
