This game is deceptively simple in appearance, especially since it's _ridiculously_ cheap. But it's a gem and is much more complex than you think. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes city builders.
Ok. Splat. This game's kinda awesome. The storage facility is the heart of the city. It should be central per segment of the plateaus. Airports / Matter mine / Farm / 3D Printer produce things or need things and need to be near storage. Water / Battery generation is important, one of the vital resources. You never want to be buying batteries from the Trade Portal. Residences / Commercial / Town Square / etc do not produce anything nor need anything, so they should pushed off near the edge of the map. Bigger buildings can be upgraded. Settle other plateaus only once you're mostly self-sufficient on the first. Choose the first based on efficiencies, which you'll learn the hard way (your open-fields were very ineffective) or just use the Indoor Crop Fields. Town Squares and Trains and Trading Portals can help keep you solvent while you're trying to figure out the employment ratios between Batteries and Water Generation before you build your first commercial tower. All the labor's pretty well balanced so it's hard to run away in any resources, especially when trying to handle requests from Orbit or the Tower Defense aspect. This game feels like Anno 2070 - build a bit, watch your resource balance, pre-build a partial batch of people's worth of stuff, import people, watch the balance, choose corrections, goto step 1.
Theory on the Infinite Lake: The Cliffs themselves have internal wells that feed the Lake from the water table, meaning the waterfall just soaks into the ground (yes, there should be a pond down there) and is returned to the water table they are tapping
Not sure about how great the neighborhood will be like when you're balcony overlooks radioactive uranium. On the bright side, the birth of super heroes and/or ninja turtles are just around the corner.
You need to realise that the water extraction place has 15% overall efficiency because of where you put it. You aren’t gaining the full amount of water.
The Air Force does not have attack helicopters. He is flying either Black Hawks or Ospreys. Those are the only two AF "helicopters" left in service under AF drivers. Hueys are a possibility, but not as likely.
Honestly. That depenss on what you do with said vehicle. Jets are kinda awsome and they are trying to make Jets that can lift verticaly at some point if they havent already
@@cherrydragon3120 Trying nothing. They've had them for quite a while. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrier_Jump_Jet is the one that I'd say most people know about.
LOL. The mountain isn't high enough to get out of the radioactive mist ............ but these little towers do the job. Hopefully more effort went into the programming :)
Reality, those 4 wind turbines at that size depicted in the game would be at minimum 1 mWh turbine so 4 turbines would produce a minimum 4 mWh. As a Technician Level A, 2002-2014, thats my opinion. I laughed when I heard 40kWh. Hell first WTGs I worked on were built in the 1980s and each turbine produced a minimum 45 kWh on the small generator and 112 kWh on the large generator.
just a question, dont you know the difference between a water extractor and water filter?. Was laughing because it literally says their water extractor and water filter 😂😂
I cud feel some disappointment when you talked avout your college friend lol He went to fly helicopters in the military and pursue his dream. Meanwhile you play games and post video's on youtube and hope to not get demonitized by false claims. Makes you feel insignificent
I never would have expected I needed to hear Splat sing Uranium Fever
I literally started reading this comment as he started to sing. Trippy.
As someone who deals a lot with helicopters (Navy aviation) shwoopy is definitely a good adjective to use in regards to helicopter movement.
I bought this game a few years back and I still like it. Keep playing...

It should have been mentioned this game is $9, which is insane for a city builder of this polish. Its also still in EA so it will continue to improve.
I think it's sort of insane the game thinks a nuclear plant is more damaging to the ecology than an industrial facility.
The dev must be a democrat lol
The game looks great! Thanks for playing it! Cheers!

14:10 Awesome Spaceballs reference. Liked, and subscribed.
actually it should not matter from where the wind is coming since the upper part of mills is usually movable so it can adjust to the winddirection^^
Yo eff that, I still gave you applause. Defiant! Nerd Castle Mindset!!!!
Nice to see this one again on the channel, Splatt. Thanks a ton mate.

he also has a giant lake for the filter to use
Won't build residence because not sure if needs 20-something people. Builds two blocks 13 people each. Oh Splat...
5:19 your singing is great !
Nice game, seems real edgy.
Hah
*”Ba dum Tsss”*
I how he gave us the Cliff notes on the game. Summarized it very well.
Clap! Clap! clap! :) We are all proud of you Splat!

War helicopters?
No splat... Warchoppers... You know this is the true way to speak it
I'm stealing the term 'swoopy'. I fly multirotors professionally and for fun. I am with you, planes are boring compared to helicopters and multirotors

I feel like we should be investing in this concept in real life, there's plenty of cliffs we could build these cities into.
Jokes on you splatty, i always watch on my phone while travelling
You can sing really well.
Building 4 little crops is the same cost as a large crop
LOL, if he was USAF, he wasn't flying any attack helos. Utility helos for JSOC at best.
Looks like they added some new buildings since I last played, I'll have to try it out again.
I applauded.
Splat if you are enjoying this you might want to check on Project Aura.
Resin 3D printers are much better at making smoother objects without lines.
Wait, wasn't the motto "seize the means of production"??
Try tower defense mode I think it is very interesting
Needs to be built near water, places it as far from water as it goes. Ok Splatter.
Water situation. rly? Water filter - Filters water from cliff PONDS this blue thing on right. AND PLZ PRES TAB :D
The only thing I have to say its hello THE 100 scenario :')
The game looks good for $10!
Only 10??
@@cherrydragon3120 It's actually $8.99 on Steam, but with tax that's about $10. Assuming you live in the US.
where are the cliffs?
I played it after your last video but I kept crashing it. Hopefully the update fixed some of that :/
oooh a god mode game.
Lets see....32k views and 1.1k likes in what, 24hrs? Sounds like applause to me.
My top favorite TH-cam channels are Pewdiepie Jacksepticeye Splattercat and Penguinz0
No no, schwoopy is the scientific term.

"clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap"
I applauded at work. People started clapping. Asked what it was for. Things got awkward.
