if you look towards the bottom of the game screen there is a zoom level to make it larger, also I think you can increase the UI size in the options iirc.
@@LenHarms Yeah I've discovered those, and use them constantly, but still. The fundamental issue is that the sprites themselves are too small, they don't enlarge enough, and the best font you can choose still has some horrible lettering which makes it hard to read stuff. You have to fight very hard to just get mediocre visibility out of that game, which is a big shame.
This game is the best of this style game next to Dwarf fortress, and its such a sleeper title. Its a shame that this game doesn't get the play time with streamers as it deserves.

your problem is you made one immortality room-area with 2 beds, you need to make 2 room-areas with 1 bed and the other requirement (can still be in the same physical room though, pretty sure).

"Thaumaturge" is an actual word which basically means "Magic Smith" ... basically they make magic tools and weapons, through the process known as "Thaumaturgy" which is just blacksmithing or craftsmithing with magic ingots/shards/crystals or pure magic, to create useful items

This seems to be coming along nicely. After gnomoria im kinda skiddish of these sort of colony builders, such an unfinished mess left abandoned. Time will tell though. I thought Gnomoria was good too until i put several hours into it and found the massive flaws.

Going by Harry Dresden rules, thaumaturgy is the practice of forming links between a representation of something and the real thing in order to create a desired effect. Think along the lines of voodoo dolls, but on a much wider scope. No idea how that would apply to this game though.😁
Idk if there has been any updates since I played last but the problem I had with the ancients besides the minions not lasting very long is they didn't give you enough void crystals to make the items you needed to survive and I couldn't figure out how to make more of them. Also, everytime I came across an ancient in the dungeon they would fight me and I would have to kill them. I never managed to increase my population.
I just made a comment about this. But it's less like a study of magic explicitly, but more of an alchemical approach to the mystical elements of the world. So yes, but not exactly.
This game seems closer to dwarf fortress then rimworld, I just get so much nostalgia from DF when watching this review. But then again, rimworld was inspired by Dwarf fortress, so while rimworld is different it still has it's similarities.
This is super difficult to watch, but it's insanely interesting and well worth watching, hope to see more! Also alpha 1 of rimworld sound terrifying to imagine lol.

Your Final Fantasy XIV Knowledge seems to be flawed. Thaumaturges are Black mage prerequisites. Conjurer for some reason are the white mages.
