I'm a mechanic and my wife has this car, I couldn't figure out where the starter on it was (doing it at home and not at the shop) and found this video. Gotta say, the music made me watch it all the way thru. Great work, great music, great audio. Keep at it my man!
I just replaced my starter, first I had to disconnect the wires that were in the way, I unbolted the knock sensor, I used my wife’s small fingers to get the nut back on the starter wire. In the end it all worked out OK, just a bit tricky regarding the proper wrench & socket combinations.
I would recommend the beginner kit as a bare minimum. so yes. But you shouldn't feel obligated to buy preemptively if you cant afford it. buy the tools as you need them.
Hey there! We just changed the starter on 2010. Now when we push the start button it acts like it's factory resetting evertime she tries to start it. Anything you know that we should do or didn't do?
You probably put a wire back on wrong. Or forgot to tighten up a battery cable I'm sure lol. Don't take it to the dealer.lmfao. that guy knows nothing about cars obviously
Great Work? I only watched the first couple mins so maybe he tells you later...but he starts working on the starter without giving you the first clue where its located.
Before the 2 minute mark you can see the catalytic converter in the frame. That should be a good reference. I'm just standing at the front of the car looking down at the catalytic converter.

Love the music and very helpful advice, BUT I think if there was some swearing curse words it would of gone faster.

Don't lie. That happened while you had the camera off and you were pulling that connector apart.

Post a video
You might have to take off your catalytic converter if it’s got a heat shield and 3 exhaust parts you gotta take it off and have plenty of sockets
Wtf is up witht hat creepy ass piano music in the background lmfao. Weird
Make a video when you do your starter and let me know and I'll come watch it.
