If you have seen the TV show Gotham, Bruce and Selina were childhood friends. She was the witness to his parents' murder. Yes, they were bffs. He saw her as his girlfriend. She backs him off whenever he tried to cross the line. When Bruce went on his oversea journey to find himself, Selina was pisses since he left her behind. Ten years later, Bruce came back to Gotham City and became Batman. Selina became the Catwomen and became a cat burger, blaming Bruce for everything. In the earlier Batman Animated Series, he came trying to help her too, but due to resentment toward Bruce, but she hated him for even trying.
@@bermanmo6237 But that's an entirely different universe, this show is based on the comics. In the comics the only major character who has been Bruce's childhood friend was Zatanna. Even they had dated. Hopefully they introduce her to this show.

2:23 The lonely hipster/hobo look is totally working for him. Stylin' playboy billionaire.
This the first time I'm seeing Bruce like this they did Bruce/ batman dirty 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Fr bro it feels proper weird seeing him like this, it just feels wrong 😭
In the post weding fallout was MUCH Worse...
really I like seeing Bruce Wayne more than the batman sometimes
Well this is what I like to see from him more often, him actually missing a woman! lol
@@gibbs615 Yeah because he doesn't have so much more on his plate. Please.🙄🙄
I love how absolutely pathetic they make Batman look in this show. Every other show or comic or game makes him out to be the perfect god of all superheroes so it's really funny seeing the shoe on the other foot.
Nah that shit is Wackadoo and very disrespectful to the character and fans of batman.
Eh, personally I feel that they went too far in the opposite direction to the point that it feels more like they’re making Batman look like a joke just to make Harley and co look better when it would be so much more effective having them still look good in spite of a competent Batman
@@CodeeXD eh? hardly. its played up for comedy but in mask of the phantasm he pretty much finally committed to becoming batman because the girl he loved dumped him. as well as quitting as batman all together in a tnba episode when he finds the perfect wife. Bruce has never handled loss very well even if thats loss of love, this is just playing it up because its an adult comedy, but its not out of character
0:08 Ok, that is so wrong...
Food for thought the worst part is the sex life (for the rats I mean) imagine every time you do the deed a pillar is shove up your hole your organs would be messed up not to mention dead (this thought came to my mind after eating a barbecue skewer)
Welcome to furries
Haha Nightwing has a skintight suit that shows his entire build. Batwoman has a motorcycle jacket on. Also like how they make him try and say mad hatter after her but faster to make it seem like it was his idea... Man I love the portrayal of men in this show
2:08 Guess Bruce was just in denial last time when he said "I don't have time for love." Good to see that he actually misses her! lol
Oof, this series is being really rough for Bruce, not a great look for the Batman…
I hope they go more into why Selina is the one Bruce wants to be with so bad.
I mean last season hinted that there was "something" with him and Diana at one point and since Damian is here we know that Talia must be around somewhere.
@@bermanmo6237 that literally has nothing to do with this
Ivy is STILL down bad for Catwoman. 😂😂
Who isn’t?
This Batman doesn't seem as, embedded into his detective work as his other counterparts.
Guess he's too depressed and heartbroken.
It does feel like they are trying to do a "what if Batman can't ignore his emotions by overworking himself like every other Batman"
Oh my god Bruce plays the same notes briefly as the main theme for the dark knight
2:15
Good point Nightwing lol.
Bruce doesn't need this Catwoman in his life he needs the version that was with him to cry it out when Nightwing died. Someone that's emotionally available for him.
Worst version of Selena EVER…
And maybe that was the point?
@@Artryom I do find it kinda funny that now Bruce has ataste of what Jim Gordon is going through. Maybe Gordon will be the one to talk some sense into him.
I agree, this version of Selina seems way too independent.
@@alebree6983 What's that mean?
When batman becomes a boomer with technology.
It’s nice to see Batgirl and Nightwing trying to cheer up Bruce
They really did Bruce dirty in this show...
Only Harley says SICK!!! in that tone of voice and with that smile on her face
Yeah forget Selina she doesnt deserve Bruce. She can enjoy doing her. He needs to just find someone who isnt completely self absorbed and self important.
shes still better then Thalia probably is in this universe
Oh man if they introduce talia al ghul this will be hectic making catwoman subtly jealous
Sadly I feel like that version of Bruce is very meta now that his upcoming cartoon, Caped Crusaders, is in limbo thanks to discovery ceo
When Harley said I will go kidnap Bruce Wayne the laugh though
1:05 There is nothing miserable about being straight, Harley!
I mean she was in a relationship with the Joker so that's probably why she said it 🤣
@@jlinus7251 Good point but still though
It sounded sarcastic because selena was trying to sound too cool about the situation.
Bruce lookin like Robert Pattinson over here
And I thought Nora Fries had commitment issues. Then again, this show managed to make her more sympathetic than Catwoman, despite her getting around more because Nora is simply suffering and grieving after Mr. Freeze died, while Catwoman simply refuses to commit or care about anyone on a personal level.
"Congrats on freeing yourself from the chains of hetero hell." This made me smile, and I'm straight. :)
Gotham Sirens living together love it
2:22 My little pogchamp
That late "Mad Hatter" send me spinning, trying to sound like you know what you're talking about.
Selena doesn't want to be fed diamond tiaras (whoa that put an image in my head of a certain pony) she wants to HUNT. She doesn't care about tiara she didn't steal. Until Harley steals it. LOL
Are you telling me batman your telling me they gave Bruce a guitar and didnt have him play something in the way
So if Nightwing is the edge lord, does that mean Red Hood will only be psychotic?
If they're gonna "parody-ify" him, I would imagine him be like a "dumb jock" that use explosives and guns to the "Xtreme!!," and suffers massive amount of PTSD, like anything that triggers him would make him into some crybaby screaming for his "dad."
@@tsnoob4669 that or they parodyfy him to where he is more/less normal, violent but normal.
@@DarkhalfBreed Ooh better yet, make him the most wholesome guy, who tries to get everyone's approval, but when he gets "triggered," he goes on a DOOM-style rampage.
@@tsnoob4669 or he is just confused because Joker is mayor and he has to constantly question every villain before a fight, so he always starts off with diplomacy before going DOOM Slayer
Or he just says "F*cK this sh*t I'm not getting bastardized in this dumb show. No thanks.
Call me when I get my Red Hood and the Outsiders series. See ya."
I was expecting a "something in the way" joke
Dick trying to be there for Bruce but having no idea how to do is so precious.
0:49
They dated for like a week
In the 1992 animation series it lasted for at least unless she went back into being cat women
Diedrich Bader's Batman voice has come a long way. I love his voice so much since Brave and the Bold.
batgirl: a hugged
batman: I wasn't hugged since my parents death
That is the most realistic acoustic guitar I've seen in a cartoon. It's got all 6 strings and everything
Damn, I really feel for Bruce.
he really said your making connections that just aren't that as if that isn't his entire character as a investigator
"Am I a criminal?"
_I mean you are a vigilante who funds their crime fighting activities through embezzlement so... Yes?_
Selena wants to cut off ties with bruce and yet she’s still living in his mansion with supervillain roommates and sponging off him
That's her mansion
I swear when this show wants to take a turn, its just not a turn, it SWERVES.
more like a turn that's goes out on a cliff and down hill
When Kiteman has a better love life than Batman. Oof.
Kiteman was cucked so badly tho he did moved on
Look how they massacred my boy!
After years of Batman being a stud with EVERY SINGLE FEMALE crazy about him, it's nice to see him heart-sick.
Woman
Woman
Woman
*BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIN!!!!*
is it me or does bruce look hot in his messy casual pjs
2:11 Doesn’t Batman love Wonder Woman??? In many DC histories
This show does Batman and Catwoman dirty. Mostly Batman, It’s sad.
this show is officially my favourite multiverse in DC it’s freaking hilarious and batshit crazy
Heterohell is the most accurate thing I've ever heard 😂
what i don't get is why does she keep accepting gifts if she doesn't want a relationship. That sends a false message. Just give them back and be stern about it.
Cat woman definitely acts like her namesake
Nightwing is right about Selina
He is 1000% right.
Man at this point he might as well hit up Talia
Comedic Batman is best Batman. I will die on this hill.
Yeah I hate the usual closed off arrogant unbalanced dickhead Batman.
Bruce: “anyway, here’s wonderwall”
Dang selina really did a number on bruce
Jeez imagine if everyone in the Bat-Family or the League saw him like that?
He's their friend and is OBVIOUSLY depressed more than usual. Their response would be to try in their own ways to help him.
@@rjp3837 Yea pretty much
I mean, if we're going by canon then Superman would be here in-between saving the day every moment of the day to help him through it. Excluding how he treats Jimmy, Supes is a great friend.
Damn, Bruce Wayne pulling off the Aaron Rodgers cosplay.
I get that it’s a mostly surface-level comedy, and it’s good, but desperately in need of a reason as to why this Selina has this effect on this Bruce. Damian exists, so there’s been Thalia, so it’s not like she’s his only.
Break Ups are hard for some people.
And bruce want more than a "Girlfriend" it will be cool if we see the weding arck of the comics
Damian was created without his knowledge, or consent. Thalia wasn't really ever a datable option/ relationship material. Selina has always been his true love, in the comic and the shows.
@@xena3474 but there was an baseline erotic love and sometimes romantic from the source material. IJS that we were shown why Harley loves Ivy. If Bruce is the B story for the season, it’d be nice to know why, feel me?
