Thing I noticed is that this is a scenario in which Joker took everything he knows about luring Batman into a trap and applied it to Bruce. Joker knows Batman better than anybody. And by this extension he knows Bruce as well. Up until he knew Bruce was Batman he thought of them as two separate people. Now that he put everything together he basically took advantage of the fact that Bruce misses his parents and he loves to see him suffer. So what does he do? Simply gives him a little push with the ticket to see a movie commemorating the death of his parents. Lo and behold, he showed up.

I like these moments when crazy harley disappears and the psychologist Harley comes to the surface, it shows that, even though she's crazy and kinda psychotic, there's still a good part of her that likes to help people feel better
Barbara’s dress looks spark-tacular.
I don't watch this show regularly but I genuinely found it great that Harley's background in psychiatry was used. Lots of versions of her don't even allude to it but she's literally a doctor.
I just thought of something, if joker changes the police department I wonder what else did he changes like jail
“Thanks for waiting you fu*king dildo’s” my fav line from Harley Quinn in this short.
My least favorite part of this season was bruce doing fucked up shit with the zombies and illegal shit seemed out of character. One my favorite things this season was Harley being Bruce’s therapist though
3:55 It wasn't about KEEPING them, just stealing them. ; )
Watching this show is actually poetic and it says a lot about Harley's character. I used to wonder whether Harley really wanted to help people or did she just have a thing for broken guys? It actually makes sense to why she can relate to both Batman and Joker. And by them being sworn enemies, with Harley in the middle, she balances with both sides between good and evil.
2:16 Whoever writes these scripts deserves a medal lol
It's a good thing that there weren't dozens/hundreds of cameras pointing directly at his face while he was talking about the Batfamily.
Also, that the cops won't notice the stolen pearls in his pocket during processing.
... and also a woman who can grow plants in seconds while controlling their movement doesn’t bother anybody.
Your observation RE: 🎥📹📸 cameras is spot-on©.
However--- the pearls are legitimately Bruce's property (family heirloom, after all).
Plus, (and as others have observed) Bruce's legal team have him covered.
He'll most likely pay one #€££ 🔥🔥 of a fine (or three), but he's still gonna be all right.

@@YesTHATJohnSmith Wasn't he so mopey while looking at the pearls because he had given them away, or had them taken by the tax collectors, or something, making them no longer his property?

... Y'know, I'm not entirely sure.
I'll have to review that episode.
i really like how harly and bruce learn to respect each other
the zoom reference killed me a bit on the inside
Gotham is a city, it’d still be subject to state laws. And letting a mayor use his own militia as police seems very, very illegal.
Joker may not be a super villain anymore, he’s still evil… he’s a politician.
Harley did a really good job here as she before as well when she was in his mind. And on top of that, it’s great to see that Selena actually returned Bruce’s mother’s Pearls to him after he got arrested. Good that she knows what should be the priority there.
Can't believe this crazy nonsense is one of the most realistic and natural Gotham lore adaptations. Every character is fucking awesome!!
Not even alfred or anyone in bat fam can give bruce a good therapy like harley
I'm proud of Bruce,
& to a lesser extent Selena.
The jokers greatest weapon the law of the IRS even though he fears it he found a way to use it.
Nightwing has the Cheeks of justice.
I wonder if joker still remembers Batman is Bruce Wayne
Oh a 100% that’s why he stopped being a villain after all
I’m pretty sure he did this to boost development on the electric car and to get one for him and his family
@@Shugonii After killing Scarecrow he stopped being the villain.
He doesn't remember. literally said himself he doesn't really remember anymore that much on what happened on that day.
Don't get why people don't see this.
Nice of joker to keep batmans identity safe tbh
3:33
Public: "You both realize we can hear AND record you from here, right?
Ending the show with the Joker arresting Batman was magic.
This show remembers that Harley used to be a psychiatrist and runs with it.
We need more scenes with Harley Quinn and Bruce Wayne. I think Harley likes Bruce.
Kinda disappointed that Nightwing isn't the one leading the batcrew
Hmm im not sure, He had a full on breakdown in episode 2
I mean in universe he only came back a few weeks ago at best while Batgirl has been a part of the team for 6 months to a year.
@@rdsasuke1 but he has more experience, he was longer with batman and with all different situations to know how to deal with them. Plus what's wrong with having breakdowns? If batgirl would have a breakdown nobody would say anything.
@@vincikeeper1581 that would really translate to leading this group.
@@rdsasuke1 10+ years working under Batman would still prob qualify him over someone doing it around a year. Look at is like this, if it was just Babs and Damian and Damian was picked as leader, the argument would be the same here as Babs has seniority so it’d make no sense if Damian was leader (plus being a kid)
Joker busted Bruce Wayne for tax evasion, reminds me how he was scared of the IRS in the other show.
Love Ivy's plant Frank, love this whole show
1:23 HQ still has professional standards.
Its nice to see Dr. Harleen Quinzel for a change
Frank: he's also guilty of being a theif
And a *****🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Ironically plot outcome wise this series is the most close to the modern comics when it comes to Harley. How they get to those outcomes is wildly differently though
I keep forgetting that Harley was a psychiatric doctor before she met Joker.
Harley :. I'll take the stairs
Me : Fine with me ...... Just as long as you give them back .🦇
The insinuation that Harley Quinn could have access to bat-gadgetry like the grapple hook is interesting.
Harley with batarangs? Quinnarangs?
Ending was priceless, she's learning the ropes.
Tax Evasion? Can't use the insanity defense for that one! And the Joker would know that.
Harley is such a sweetheart ❤❤❤
Bruce Wayne and Harley Quinn couple of the century
Oh yes, the best place to have a conversation about your superhero identity, in front of 30+ reporters with cameras! No one would ever suspect!
We may not always know where her head is at all the the time, but this confirms her heart is definitely in the right place and i trust from here on it won't steer her wrong ever again. Oh who am i kidding? This is Harley we're talking about. She's always gonna do some dumb shit to put people in danger, it's all just a matter if its an accident or not.
This is the White Knight in a nutshell!
Joker still hasn't gotten his electric car
I like how Harley is the therapist to Bruce Wayne
He doesn’t leave Gotham, he was sent to jail for tax evasion.
You can tell Kaley is having a lot of fun playing Harles. I think she's doing well. :)
Wait Harley Using her psychology degree to help Bruce and is a great idea
Bruce is going to get off easily because he can claim charity
I mean, yeah. It's America and he's rich and famous so he really is only going to do jail time if he wants to.
Yeah, but how many mayors are agents of chaotic anarchy?
@@bluecanine3374 I mean he's also batman
@@re1010how many mayors are agents of chaotic anarchy? Portland, Minneapolis, NY in 2020 for starters
i really love to see this kind of dynamics between this characters, its like a breathe of fresh air when it comes to batman, i was kinda starting to hate everything batman related because its the same thing all the fucking time, but this series nailed it with this new way of see things in the dc universe.
I love that Bruce just knows that random henchmans name.
Awww, I knew Catwoman would never do that to him. 🥰
Harley does become a hero in the dc comics
When Joker started to work IRS.
Just realized that Batman can never be honest on his tax ledger because he has to pay for being Batman.
why has DC made bruce leave Gotham lately? the dark knight series, the arkham series(possibly i just know that he blows the mansion up) and i think there was in the comics
Dark Knight Rises and Arkham Knight endings are based off of Batman Knightfall. And that's a storyline from the 90s
