I clean for a living , I started for a 90 year old who hadn't cleaned in 15 years since his wife died. Took me awhile but now can go once a month ( his request limited income) and keep it in good order. Floors were the worst I ever cleaned. Once I got his trust we replaced things that were just a mess. He Misses his wife and never thought he would live this long. He is very interesting and I keep him entertained while I'm there. Myself and the lawn guy and instacart are the only people who he sees. No children so he's stuck. It's very satisfying to clean for people who really need help.
@@sharonmccann6659 the update is he was in the hospital for 4 days then moved to rehab to get stronger and tomorrow he gets to come home. I have been visiting him on Sundays. So after 6 weeks he is better and I will be at his house on Tuesday . He's a great guy so happy he will be able to be back in his own house. 😊
So he got home and I was there yesterday , I got him all sorted out again. I he house wasn't to bad considering his absence was the first hat long. The big thing was the linens on his bed. I brought new ones as he ruined the ones that were on the bed .
I had an unexpected hospital stay in Feb followed by almost 3 weeks in rehab facility & I contracted Covid! The day after I came home both my grown sons were cleaning my apt. Fridge had been done already. They even did my bed linen & vacuumed. I came home on oxygen & so weak I couldn't have done any of that. I couldn't have made it without my boys. They took turns staying with me until Home Health started. I'm so grateful.
you obviously brought them up to be good lads.. and they are just looking after their Mother whom they respect and love. I hope you are healing well. I live alone. no children.. and have cancer. I struggled as I hae mobility and other issues, before I went into hospital and got some of it done so I came home to a reasonable clean and tidy house.. It nearly finished me off. Glad you have such nice boys.
Your kindness is amazing. I just stumbled across your video and couldn’t stop watching. I have a small commercial cleaning business and I would give anything if my workers could work this fast😂😂😂. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such an efficient man! I’m not sure about your spin mop or your little broom, those don’t really serve you well. 😱I’ll be keeping an eye out for more of your incredibly amusing videos. Thank you for being so kindhearted and helping these people. I can see you enjoy it too.
After 3 week in rehab from c I long cancer, my dear friend cleaned my whole house, laundry, changed sheets, picked up mail even took my cat to her house.and restocked my refrigerator the day before I came home. What a blessing that was to have a friend so kind.. ❤
@@bannguyen5057This "living style" is actually called being elderly, having limited mobility and poor health and living alone but thanks for your concern and optimism /s
You are a SUPERhuman being!!! Every time I watch your videos,I feel your loving, caring spirit. You should receive an humanitarian award for how happy you make others feel when you so greatly improve their lives by making ennvironments clean and habitable. Thank-you!!
I'm senior lady with same type of story....hired lady that didn't want to get hands dirty. Quit after 1 day. Medicare wouldn't pay. Was paying $20 hourly. If you hurt with pain and also have depression....cleaning is last on the plate! It truly helps to have support and it brightens a person's life so much to have a cleaner home. It lifts the spirit and I thank you for not putting her down. Bless you!
Annise Cherlat: I and others are right there with you. Are you surprised at $20 an hour for simple straightening and sweeping up? About paying and then watching them walk out, Been There, Done That. Praying for God to send someone to help you.
You bring up a good point. It's really hard to find a cleaning service with this level of enthusiasm and thoroughness. I love to watch the Magic Cleaner. He does a great job. There should be more people like him.😊
I use to clean like that but I’m 81 now. I can verify when my daughter comes and cleans for a day once a week I just feel so good when she leaves. My grandkids laughed greatly when I said I feel good when she leaves taking the wrong meaning!😂
My mother was the original packrat. I went to Seattle to visit her. Her pantry was so full that the 1/2 in plywood was rounded like it would snap in half. The food she canned and labeled was canned 26 years before. She took a nap. I dumped out all OLD canned
food and when she woke up she asked me why was the disposal was running so much. i told her she had food that was so old. The shelves were permanently bent. A week after I flew to Texas she called me. She said 'Kris, I had to go to the store and buy all new canned goods'. She laughed and said An empty pantry scares me if we have a food shortage'
At my age and with back issues, I concentrate on one room or area of a room (in very cluttered or badly soiled rooms) per day. After 45 minutes I am done (whether/not I am finished). This spares my back and gives me something to look forward to tomorrow-humor intended.
I'm 74 years old. I did the same thing. I was feeling bad and let things go to being a cluttered mess. In December my arm was broken at the wrist. In January I broke my leg at my ankle. I was away from home until March. I'm still cleaning. I move slowly. I had to make sure I got rid of clutter on the floor.
It is the most selfless thing a person can do and it has to be the most appreciated. I noticed how careful you were to keep even the smallest of her belongings intact. You organized them and did not just pitch them, as some cleaners do. You are a real pro! God bless you!
A lot of older people have a hard time picking up after themselves. We are tired. God bless you for what you are doing. Please continue to help the elderly. We need you so much. ❤
Yes. Also there are folks who are very proud and don't ask because they feel that they are being a bother and burden to others. You are very kind to do this. God will bless you
I personally go thru messy periods where I just don't care. I have found that when I clean, I sleep better and I feel better. Depression can be tough on your home and your relationships. Bless you for helping this lady out. She will be thrilled to come back to a cleaner home. Hopefully you will reach 100K subscribers really soon.
Hang in there, good people ! I've had to deal with depression almost all my life. Remember, This, too shall pass. Every Night that you turn off the light instead of turning off your Life, you win. You are Victorious. Treasure the remissions. Refuse to beat yourself up. Give yourself a break and take a day off sometimes. Celebrate small victories. Remind yourself that depression is like having a severe case of FLU. Mental and Emotional FLU. It's just as debilitating, and most people won't understand. Forgive them and carry on. Trust God and ask Him to help. He will. Jesus understands. Read Hebrews 4:15. And Matthew 26:38. In the garden of the mount of Olives, He told His disciples, "My Soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death." But God pulled Him through, and He will be there for you and me. If you wash a dish, good for you. If you sweep the floor, Hooray! If you fold a few clothes, 💪 you are strong. Keep facing forward. Through Christ, we are more than Conquerors. God Bless and Keep you.
I remember a friend and I did this for her friend whose teenage son was killed. While she was out making arrangements and such. We cleaned/scrubbed every room in her house (except son's). Even found some sheers and a nice rug for her dining room at a yard sale on the way to her house, which we cleaned before laying it down. As sad and terrible as it was, she managed to smile at the surprise of being able to have visitors. 😊 We felt like we did the best thing for her during her time of grief. So good job 👏
Watching you clean this fortunate woman's home has given this 62 Year old woman the incentive to get off my bum and do a better job of cleaning my own home. Thank you sweetheart. And thank you for what you are doing for everyone you help. Acts 20:35 says by working hard in this way, you must assist those who are weak and must keep in mind the words of our lord Jesus, when he himself said: " There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving". And you do seem like a happy fellow. I adore how you are silly and funny yet teach us cleaning skills while you work so hard to help others. Thank you again
This woman has a really nice house. Hopefully, the family can provide her some weekly clean-up services. i know her pets are wondering where is "Mom"? Thank you for your kindness to folks. What a blessing!
I’m in my 70s & my family wonders why I’m trying to minimize my home. I’m going to show them this video and ask them if they want to help me get rid of stuff I don’t need or do they want to wait until I am not here so they have to do it anyway. Senior minimalist.
My mom is in her 70’s now and just had a knee replaced and will have to have the other one replaced once she’s recovered. I am trying to reason with her to get rid of some of the unnecessary decor that has to cleaned and cleaned around to simplify the process of cleaning, not only for her, but for those of us who come in to help with things like mopping the floors. She’s deteriorated from the surgery and she doesn’t have the energy to move all the stuff, much less clean afterwards. It’s not only becoming a burden to her, but to those who help her out too. Maybe I need you to tell my mom these things 😆
Im in my late 40s and mom is 83 along with my senior sister. Thank God i have binge watching hoarders and decomp cleaning on youtube and eventually they get to see some hoarding videos i watched. Now we are all in unison of downsizing and being a minimalist in our own way.
Commenting on this older video just to say that I'm really putting in effort to tidy up my space for the new year, and it's quite overwhelming for me. So, I clean something, then pause to catch my breath and watch a bit of your videos. After that, I pause the video, clean a bit more, then return to watch a little more and get inspired. I'm keeping in this loop, and things are actually moving forward. So, thanks a lot for your videos!

Same! Some of his video, clean as much as I can -- it's the decision-making that wears me out -- rest and repeat.
You're a saint. I'm a compulsive cleaner, and somehow watching you work calms me immensely. I feel so much anxiety hearing about people who can't clean because of age or infirmity. Soon that will be me. Knowing there are compassionate people like you makes this world so much better.
I wish someone like this lived near me. I feel like if I could get a clean start I would be able to keep up. I was not able to do anything for so long that it is too much now.
Heather Kline, I’m so sorry to hear about your heart attack. I had one at age 45. I was thin, still menstruating….but a smoker. You are so right. I also have a family history of heart disease. I am here to tell you that was 22 years ago and I am doing very well. I had two stents inserted and thank God no bypass surgery. My mom passed after double bypass 32 years ago from a pulmonary emboli..she was only 66. Anyway, I have been very compliant with all my meds, I stopped smoking and yes, I watch my cholesterol. The week before my HA I felt dizzy and took my blood pressure and it was very high. I should have gotten myself to the doctor, but I was invincible. I’ve been on blood pressure meds all these years and it’s been under control. Unfortunately because I smoked all those years I have COPD, but regarding my heart I am so grateful to be doing very well. Your tips to women was spot on. I would just like to add that do not ever think you’re too young to have a heart attack. It can happen, so if you have any signs whatsoever, don’t be a dope like me, get checked out. My heart attack was a bad one..in the artery they call the widow maker, so God was clearly with me. I felt compelled to reply to you to let you know that if you follow all the instructions and do what you’re supposed to do, you’ll do well. And yes, I just started watching this channel and I am really enjoying it. He makes me want to pop up and clean from top to bottom. So again, good luck, behave and take care of yourself…you have a lot of living to still do.
What a wonderful job you are doing! I love the methodical method of approaching your task. Personally I stick to far fewer cleaning supplies. Dawn dishwashing soap, and Lysol wipes. One to clean, one to sanitize. Thanks for tip about Liquid gold. Also, did I see a dishwasher? Everything goes into that baby in my house! I am messy too, but has to be clean underneath. Sadly my stamina has plummeted , so I can understand how one can be overwhelmed. 😂. My other issue is an abhorrence to using micro cloths. Do they give any one else the heebie jeebies? I go to IKEA and buy tons of their washcloths. They are my main cleaning cloths, with cotton dish towels to dry and polish. The nose knows if a house is clean… I wish I had access to a few hours of cleaning help ( of any kind ) from someone as meticulous as you! Bravo! And God Bless ❤
New subscriber here! You do such a great service for people in need! I am sure she will appreciate everything you have done! Those poor pets are wondering where their Mom is! Hope you were able to give them some attention during your breaks!
I also am a guy and I’ve run my own cleaning business in 2 states for 24 years. I’ve worked for over 200 people and businesses and I truly enjoy what I do. And I know that yes, it does make a difference in someone’s life. Whether they’re elderly and can’t do it themselves or they’re 30 something and just don’t have the time to do it properly. I enjoy making people’s lives easier. This guy is definitely doing a wonderful service for people! Salute! 🫡
@@axeanddiscman51 Thank you for sharing what you do, and the impact it can have on others, and you're right! What a wonderful person... I like when people love their job and I can tell you do! I wish you lived near me lol
@@dawndriscoll513 I’ve actually had people tell me I’ve helped save their relationships! Whether they were joking or not, there can be a serious disconnect in doing housework. Most people don’t like doing it, and then the arguing ensues over who is doing it or why they aren’t doing it. Making a difference in someone’s life is a great feeling! And if I did live near you, I would certainly welcome a call from you for service! 😀
I love how you keep their homes still looking like their home, only clean and orderly. She has a nice place, I hope she heals and can come home to her home and pets. ❤️
That is a really beautiful little home, and I'm sure she will be thrilled when she sees how clean it is. It'll also help her to feel loved and valued to see the trouble people have gone to for her sake.
So glad you were able to help this lady out. She'll heal so much faster in a clean house than seeing all the dirt and clutter and sit there and see all the work that she can't do. Great job!
A good friend broke her hip in November 2022, I went in and cleaned her house so when she came home it would be safe from clutter etc. She had rooms full of “stuff” books, scrapbooking supplies, doll and more. On her own she got family and agencies to pick up and donate the good items to charities. Don’t judge these people it happens slowly until it become overwhelming and they are embarrassed to ask for help
We did that for my MIL and she disinherited my husband. That didn’t bother us but the fact that we haven’t been able to have a peaceful conversation since does. Id be hard pressed to do it again. Meanwhile, the son who did nothing to help her get home is milking money off her.
That is just the kindest thing you could do for this lady. It’s not until I hit my senior years I appreciate what you have done & the stress this must have taken off of her when she came home. If any children or grandchildren are watching instead of buying presents for birthdays etc shout them a gardener or housekeeper for a day ❤
I agree, I would rather have and hour of doing things in my home that I can't (or would be difficult (73y.o. woman) than a box of candy, cut flowers, warm socks/ shawl etc. Few material needs at our age..more physical and emotional support and VISITS!!
Could not agree more. The most thoughtful gift for an older person, especially with arthritis or in danger of falling, would be to hire a good professional cleaning service..What a Blessing! ❤
You remind me of my son. He is the one who has been cleaning, doing the laundry, and cooking. You are a man with a heart of gold. I agree that you've been a blessing to this elderly lady. I hope you continue receiving blessings and much success.
The cat piece at 22:10 cracks me up. Bless your heart for doing this work for a living. It is definitely not for the faint of heart, in more ways than one.
I am sincerely OCD and wish we lived closer because I would love to help. I’ve lived in a 55+ community for over 37 years with my mom and I’ve always helped the elderly here. My kids are probably your age now and I’m considered elderly, but cleaning is my sore spot. It’s gotta be done. Sink empty, counter wiped before I’ll even go to bed. God bless you! You are wonderful!
Those suffering from clinical OCD wish that it was quirky and cute, but the reality is, it's a DEBILITATING Disorder. If you're not formally diagnosed with the condition, it shouldn't be used to describe the satisfaction you get from cleaning and organization.
I know a couple that is disabled and don't have no one to help them I would but I am disabled too but they need help like that how can I get a hold of you to see if you can help them
I would suggest getting rid of a lot of the furniture, way to much, especially for someone having trouble getting around. The more clear space and walkway, less to trip over. I know you can't. But a family member should suggest this to her and have someone help her to get out.
Thank you, you did an amazing job. Felt bad for the animals, glad they had your company for the day. Hope she is home soon and with help of friends can keep up with the beautiful job you did.
About 22 years ago, I broke my ankle and could walk or stand. I got around at home on my hands and knees and at work in a wheel chair. Finally, I got disgusted with my dirty apartment and hired a cleaning company. They did a fantastic job and after that, for many years, I hired cleaning companies once a month. They did so much better than I could ever do.
I am a neat freak-my house could usually be ready for a drop in guest with less than five minutes notice. If it's not clean and uncluttered, it literally makes me anxious. If I were disabled and couldn't clean, someone doing this for me would be a true Godsend. What a gift you gave her!
Me too. I’m 63 and I fear the day that I can’t do much. It will drive me crazy. I’m getting a little relaxed about cleaning, meaning the house looks a little more normal and not like a model home but I hate things out or clutter. I also move things around when I get bored with the look of a room but if I can’t do that I may have to call 911. Lol
Same here. At least my daughter fed and looked after my 2 cats, mopped the floors and took out the garbage. It was a blessing that she even had time to do that! I'm forever grateful for her! Thank God for this fellow who helps for free. Hopefully, he receives a small pittance for his channel from TH-cam.
The lady is going tp be so happy when she comes home. It will be such a refreshing home coming. God bless you for coming to her aid. The niece will be so pleased her aunt will be able to rest and not worry about cleaning her home.
We need more people like you in the world. I would love to help you and help do this for the needy elderly that I believe are so much more overlooked than others needy groups.
In my city we have a Volunteer Chore Program. You can sign up for different chores, shopping for groceries, yard work, house cleaning…mostly for elderly people on fixed incomes. Might be something like it in your area already.
You can tell that you were at this house for many hours just from watching throughout the video the cat and dog becoming more at ease with your presence in their home 😂so sweet!
I had a heart attack on Jan 31st… I’ve been laid up in the hospital and got home yesterday.. I’ve been BIIIIIINGE watching your videos like craaaazy!!! You’ve really helped me get through my days. Having a heart attack at 46 is terrifying!!!! Everyone: please watch your cholesterol and women…stop smoking if you do! Day 8 no cigs!!! But it’s been so helpful having your videos!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm 45 and had a heart attack last year at 44; it was the scariest ordeal of my life. Had multiple cholesterol checks by my primary over the past several years but they've always been fine? Great family genetics at work 😄 I hope your recovery is quick and that you stay healthy ♥️
@@d-anger-noodle How are you feeling? I got sent home with a LiveVest that I have to wear for 3 months just to be safe. My cholesterol was like 387 but I’m going to eat better.. I did get a stent put in so hopefully I heal quick! I’m so glad that you are still here and getting better!!!
Just a tip: if the oven has a self cleaning mode put the cast iron pans in when you first arrive and start the self clean process, 4-5 hours while your doing other things they’re done, all the crud turns to ash! Scrub with a stainless steel scrubber and rub with vegetable oil or shortening and they’re beautiful again! Beautiful home and great job!
Since she’s elderly she probably has Medicare. If you have surgery that requires rehab, you can get a home health person, even a family member, to help once or twice a week. Without surgery as a reason she’d need to be covered under Medicaid. If she’s got regular insurance from a spouse or retirement, her niece or whoever is helping her can contact her insurance to see what is covered. Possibly even a patient representative at the hospital could help. Also a hint on pets…if the owner is going to be gone for awhile, make sure closets, bedrooms etc are closed to the pets. It will cut down on stress potty accidents on blankets, clothes or in shoes. Love your videos!
And regarding pets, especially cats, make sure to add a second liter box so in case no one can get there on a daily basis to clean out the boxes, that cat at least has enough liter. Plus bigger food and water stations should be considered. Also get timers put on a couple of lights so it looks like someone is home. And if she has neighbors who she talks to often, let them know of her situation, they can be on an extra lookout of her place.
You can go to rehab, and after rehab get home Health if needed. Medicare does not pay for housecleaning, but will pay for someone to help with bathing.
Perhaps not in every single case, but almost always there is a reason other than laziness for messiness. Proud of you for being a blessing to this woman!
I never imagine that a man could clean so well and make everything spick and span. Hello, I am a senior granny from the Philippines and I admire what you do for other people. God bless you more.
Yes they'll can. It's just how they were taught. My golden brother never had to lift a finger and he struggled for years when he was single, doing basic takes. He meets a girlfriend that sets him straight and now he properly helps .
I don’t think I’ve ever watched a man do a cleaning video. As a former professional house cleaner and cleaning video addict I appreciate your hard work and the humor has literally made me laugh out loud several Times. I am a definite subscriber for life. You are freaking hilarious 😂😂😂
Same! I’m an IHSS worker, I do it all. I’m impressed by the high standard of clean I’m seeing! I just found these videos today (while cleaning/arranging furniture 🤣) and subbed immediately.
It’s refreshing to find someone who is so thoughtful and instead of focusing on criticizing - which my siblings do - he actually puts effort into helping them. This is what people in these situations need - actual hands on help, not just people judging them and thinking they are superior. Pretending to “care” but actually just doing it to put the person down and feel superior themselves. Thank goodness this guy recognizes the person need help, not judgement. 👍❤️👍❤️👍
In addition to all the wonderful cleaning, I love how you placed her items like salt and pepper shakers and other trinkets back as she would want them. Very respectful. ❤
I was happy watching this video and then my neighbor came by and we watched it together... it changed our lives. He said that this video touched his heart. We took a projector in a big field and all my neighbors watched it, which changed their lives too... I'm so grateful. Thank you. 😆
They may have been overwhelmed and afraid to touch her belongings. Taking care of her pets is a big deal. It's also only been a few days since her accident...
Oh, one more thing. It is amazing to me how nice these homes are underneath the mess. I especially like older homes with character and quality. How special is it that these owners get to see their beautiful homes again. No you're special!
I watched the entire video and squalled like a baby thank you for sharing it and helping people with something most take for granted amazing how this act of kindness totally transformed the guy inside and out and restored my faith in humanity God bless both of these guys
Enjoyed your video.Great cleaning for a man. As a professional cleaner there are more tips for you...tooth brushes for small grimy places..razer scraper used at angle removes any crud from countertops. I use it first, then add cleaning agents. Noticed you didn't 't use degreaser.Dawn works well but hard to deal My most useful 'tool' is "Dobie Pads"! Never scratches!l
I can’t imagine how much nicer this place smelled once you got done. I would think it would feel so much better for her to come home to a fresh, clean house. You are a cleaning tornado!!!
As a retired caregiver and Nursing Assistant, I have seen some really dirty houses. While there on my shift I always went beyond and cleaned more than I needed to. The people were happy and it inspired them to do some on their own, what they could to surprise me when I came back to work. It just makes people happy!
I worked in home health over 25 years, and many of my co-workers and I as well always did some little something for the patient after the visit or during. Taking out the trash, running the vacuum, doing some dishes, making some lunch, throwing in a batch of laundry, etc. can mean so much to someone who is not able to do those things for themselves. I always tell patients: "When they come, think about one thing you need done and ask if they will do it for you before they leave. If they have time, most will do it for you. Don't be shy or embarrassed."
I'm a naturally messy person but could keep on top of it mostly. Now I'm almost immobile and can't move properly to clean. At mid 70s I'm pretty useless, can't stand to wash up or cook. Coming to the end of some severe hoarding ... just the upstairs to do. My son bought me a dishwasher, a lifesaver. Watching you has made me want to continue.
Same!!! I offer everyone help who ever complains about cleaning or organizing but they rarely accept. A few have over the years though and the end result is THE BEST.. I have a literal hoarder best friend and all I want to do in this world is help her get her home clean & organized. She SAYS she'll let me but backs out every time. I did go in and tackle her living room with her 3 kids about 15yrs ago while she was out of town... She was mad for 3 weeks. 😂😂 THE KIDS WERE ECSTATIC!
@@JustJae210 I need help so bad! I wish I had a friend to help me. I have a very bad back and after a fall, two bad shoulders . I cannot afford a cleaner. It's terrible to be unable to clean for yourself especially when one has always been very meticulous
It was discussed about halfway through this video that most viewers just stick around for one video. I thought that was interesting, I fell in a similar algorithm pipeline finding this video/genre of video totally out of my pipeline but I was enthralled. I would say it's both a combination of cathartic and now moreso (and more importantly) a really good motivator. I live alone and can get pretty discouraged cleaning up sometimes, especially when I have a lot of my work cut out for me. Putting this on even just in the background listening to you talk about cleaning up these houses is actually really uplifting, puts me in the groove to get busy and do something nice for myself.
I don’t know how I have never seen any of your videos, but I’m so glad this popped up. I have watched TONS of “motivational” cleaning videos and this is by far the best. No fluff, straight to cleaning and hilarious commentary. Kudos to you, Sir.
Same here...I am so glad this showed up on YT . I was looking for cleaning videos over the weekend and really didnt find any good ones till this one showed from nowhere. He definitely gets me motivated to clean and fun to listen too.
God has to have really blessed you and your family! If he hasn't yet, He will. I'm 75, I'm getting old, and there are days I can barely move. What hurts me is, I have 3 children and 13 grandkids. Our lives have been all about family. I almost have to beg them for help. And of course we pay them. There are no cleaning companies down were we live. It's so sad, when you get old, no one wants to help. So I give you thanks, praise and prayers for you! God bless you.❤
The way you dealt with that lady's things shows me you are truly an angel from God. My brother cared for my Mom before she passed away. He was the same. He said, It is still her house and her things and I will put them as she would want them. I love how you did this for that lady. For her to come home to that must have ben the best medicine for her. Thank you. New subscriber, from Great Britain.
What a breath of fresh air for this injured elderly woman's home. I would love to see her reaction when she is able to come back to her clean home!! And it was amazing just watching you clean it! :)
First time viewer and now new subscriber. What a blessing to see someone enjoys cleaning like I do. You bring a true gift to those who cannot do it for themselves and may God continue to use you and strengthen you to do what you do with compassion and excellence!
I work in healthcare part time, and I had an Autistic client who requested for me to help her find someone to basically do a whole house deep clean, and she even wanted the big furniture removed so she can buy new furniture. She told me her house makes her stressed and anxious because it’s full of furniture and colors she doesn’t like. The clutter adds to the anxiety. I wish they had services like this where she lives.
What special service? The fact that he does it for free? If she can afford to hire decorators, toss perfectly good furniture to to buy new furniture because she doesn't like the color; she can afford a housekeeper. Housekeepers are world wide. Hire one and get with the program.
@Con K can you please do something for me. Can you please wear a mask while cleaning. I was a commercial cleaner for 15 odd years and never wore a mask I now have lung disease because of the chemicals I used, it really is a horrible disease that I would not give to my worst enemy. I have also changed all the cleaning products I use and changed only using vinegar and water you will be surprised how well it works. So please look after yourself wear a mask and start using vinegar. PS great job
I am a clean freak (like my mother) and even though I have regular help, I still keep tight control of hygiene and sanitation levels of my home (we have two dogs). I know as one gets older, it gets harder but if it’s one’s habit to keep things clean, it isn’t that difficult (one does need big help for big jobs). I liked the way you handled the situation. It didn’t look easy to me. Just one question- wouldn’t using a good vacuum cleaner be better than the brush you used? That house needs a good thorough vacuuming and heavy duty mopping, especially with the urine odor.
@@conk449special service probably like one where they wouldn’t judge her for her needs. Like this channel. Finding someone that understands other autistic individuals ain’t easy and many have gotten enough abuse to not want to deal with most ppl

So after 6 weeks he is better and I will be at his house on Tuesday . He's a great guy so happy he will be able to be back in his own house. 😊
You are a true blessing!😇
Thanks to you and the lawn guy
You are blessed with good sons! ❤
Great job 😊

Suck it! 🤣🤣🤣
I appreciate the tip you often give about taking a 10-minute break after 50 minutes of cleaning. That really makes a difference.
At my age and with back issues, I concentrate on one room or area of a room (in very cluttered or badly soiled rooms) per day. After 45 minutes I am done (whether/not I am finished). This spares my back and gives me something to look forward to tomorrow-humor intended.
I would never start again after the break 😅
Can we all just appreciate for a moment how neat and symmetrical he put everything on the back of that stove? Loved it.
So agree, he is very respectful of this ladies day to day ways and leaving things where he finds them.

This woman has a really nice house. Hopefully, the family can provide her some weekly clean-up services. i know her pets are wondering where is "Mom"? Thank you for your kindness to folks. What a blessing!
I love that you differentiate between ADHD, hoarding, being messy, etc. Most people just do not get it, even "experts."
This is going to help her to heal. When she walks into a clean home. She’s going to feel so much better.
I love how her cats are around watching you! I’m sure they’re thinking our mom is going to be so happy when she gets home!
I’m sure they’re wondering what the heck this guy is doing.
I’m in my 70s & my family wonders why I’m trying to minimize my home. I’m going to show them this video and ask them if they want to help me get rid of stuff I don’t need or do they want to wait until I am not here so they have to do it anyway. Senior minimalist.
Great idea!👍 I'm in my 60s so I'm starting now.😉
My mom is in her 70’s now and just had a knee replaced and will have to have the other one replaced once she’s recovered.

The nose knows if a house is clean…

this is so true....
Me, most elderly have lived in the same house for many, many years. Young people move more and purge with every move.

I was thinking the same thing I love going to the laundramat I could do all the laundry in a couple of hours.
You did great! I’ve had two husbands & they aways vacuumed as if the room was circular.
Those suffering from clinical OCD wish that it was quirky and cute, but the reality is, it's a DEBILITATING Disorder. If you're not formally diagnosed with the condition, it shouldn't be used to describe the satisfaction you get from cleaning and organization.
Great job!!
Wonderful. God. Bless.

They did so much better than I could ever do.

But make triple sure sure the pets are not inside the rooms or closets first. Do a headcount before you leave 🙂
And regarding pets, especially cats, make sure to add a second liter box so in case no one can get there on a daily basis to clean out the boxes, that cat at least has enough liter. Plus bigger food and water stations should be considered.
Also get timers put on a couple of lights so it looks like someone is home. And if she has neighbors who she talks to often, let them know of her situation, they can be on an extra lookout of her place.
commission on aging has man programs to help for the elderly. Her family can contact a sinor center in her city too help her.
You can go to rehab, and after rehab get home Health if needed. Medicare does not pay for housecleaning, but will pay for someone to help with bathing.
All true. Things to mention to her family when they come in to do a deep clean.
Perhaps not in every single case, but almost always there is a reason other than laziness for messiness.

I was happy watching this video and then my neighbor came by and we watched it together... it changed our lives. He said that this video touched his heart. We took a projector in a big field and all my neighbors watched it, which changed their lives too... I'm so grateful. Thank you.

Inspiring!
Lmao, fking love it 🤣💪👍🥰.
Next time you should do a suck it , that's how I roll sing along. Then clean some wood with liquid gold.

Cleaning a whole house in white adidas hoodie and tenners, that's hardcore man! Did not get dirty. Much respect guy!
I used to clean people's homes for a living. You are amazingly quick. You did a huge amount of work in 10 hrs. I'm super impressed
“I need to remember to tell her she’s almost out of sugar”. I laughed out loud 😂
Such a midwestern comment. Lol.
Me too! As he lugged the giant canisters away😂😂😂😂
Omg I was having a sip & blew it out my nose at the sugar reminder comment!! 😂😂😂 i love this human; no one like him! His videos always make me smile
I have a cleaner fortnightly and also a carer who does all sorts of things for me. My My Aged Care package pays for it.

Thank You for cleaning up. I live with my mother. She's 84 and wheel chair bound. Thank You so much for your shared love. ❤️
I love how you put everything back exactly how she had it❤so respectful
People came to feed pets but didn't pick up some of the stuff lying around? Kudos to you for sorting out the lady's place!! You did a great job!
Yes, I was amazed that no-one did anything, just to even tidy up a little.
They may have been overwhelmed and afraid to touch her belongings. Taking care of her pets is a big deal. It's also only been a few days since her accident...
Viele Leute sind blind und gleichgültig
Oh, one more thing. It is amazing to me how nice these homes are underneath the mess. I especially like older homes with character and quality. How special is it that these owners get to see their beautiful homes again. No you're special!
What a blessing you are to so many people who need this kind of help to feel good about their homes. Great job!
What a blessing to help a eldery women! How wonderful your giving such a wonderful gift. Great job!
I love your channel! The real homes, real results, fun commentary, and no cheesy music!
Correct. Something I cannot tolerate much is distasteful music or music at all on this kind of videos… it seems doesn’t go well.

Oh, I think a good round of The Lone Ranger's theme music would be perfect when he's scrubbing the stove on fast forward! ha
You're a good person to help so many people!
God Bless you young woman, (46) don't give up. You are needed for everyone, family, friends, community.❤
I just came across your videos. Now I'm binge watching. You are such a blessing to these people. The world needs more people like you.
I can’t imagine how much nicer this place smelled once you got done. I would think it would feel so much better for her to come home to a fresh, clean house. You are a cleaning tornado!!!
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Good job Susan❤️

I'm a naturally messy person but could keep on top of it mostly. Now I'm almost immobile and can't move properly to clean. At mid 70s I'm pretty useless, can't stand to wash up or cook. Coming to the end of some severe hoarding ... just the upstairs to do. My son bought me a dishwasher, a lifesaver. Watching you has made me want to continue.

Thank you Mack for helping this elderly lady out and restoring her dignity. ❤
I love cleaning and organizing. I've offered to help friends that are overwhelmed but they are usually too embarrassed to let me help. Great job!
@@plum_loco So sorry to hear!! If you were nearby I'd definitely help!
You have a beautiful and kind heart for helping that elderly woman. May God continue to bless you and your family.
What a breath of fresh air for this injured elderly woman's home. I would love to see her reaction when she is able to come back to her clean home!! And it was amazing just watching you clean it! :)
Imagine coming home to clean and tidy place that still looks like yours.
@@conk449 for real. Cleaning is hard on your body. And people want free service smh 🤦♀️
You are an earth angel 😇 to help this lady out. I am 64 and disabled ♿. I fall easily. It is hard to clean. God bless you and all here.
It amazes me how cleaning ( not throwing away things other than garbage) completely changes a house- great job
