This is the second most cluttered house I've cleaned. We're going to do the whole thing for free, starting with the kitchen.

I just want to thank you for sharing your gift! Since I started watch you, I play your videos while chipping away at the horror that is my room. I've been out of work and mostly bedridden since 2016 due to chronic health issues. Seemingly overnight my room became a hoarding prison worthing of UNESCO site classification. Little by little each day, no matter how I feel, I play at least one of your videos while working on my room. Even if it's just for 20 minutes. I'm finally starting to see progress. You are a Godsend!

Hi! I have health issues, too, and my room did the exact same thing!!😮😮😮 I didn’t even realize it was happening, and now I have a hoarders bedroom!!😢🥺☹️ my chronic pain keeps me from doing a bunch of stuff. I’m so forlorn about my room in this house that I really don’t know what to do. Where to begin. It’s hard, when you have chronic illness. I’m in my room has an always been this way. I got divorced in 2012 after 35 years and I moved in with my kids. It was fine for some years and then all of a sudden it was probably when I was so sick I was bedridden. My daughter would bring me supper every night when she got home and did my bed and I pretty much walked to the bathroom back and that was it, at that time. I hope you’re doing better and are sticking with your short but good cleaning routines! That’s all we can do as what we can do. I’d love for this guy to come and wipe my house out. You get all the shit out of here. I think I might live a bit too far away from him though. Well, take care of yourself! Nan from northern Illinois ❤❤❤

For example she'll clean the crap out of a kitchen floor and the counter tops, and then turn around and clean on top of the cupboards, and dust the ceiling fan after, hence getting the floors and counters all full of fallout dust. I can't watch her because of that. I yell at the screen going "Why didn't you clean the ceiling fan first??" My OCD goes cray, lol

      @kg6801 ปีที่แล้ว

@@chelongogan3904All the things you suggested can still be beyond people who are ill or struggling, and there are many, many more things than just depression and PTSD and what you personally might know of them. It can take a lot of work to even have and maintain small goals, and to be shown how to overcome executive function, emotional regulation, cognition, and compulsion issues that can be some of the things that prevent some people from just getting it together and getting on with it while the rest of their life may be falling down around them at the same time. And as part of some mental illnesses a person can be unaware they are ill and have difficulty understanding that their situation is a problem. That's not laziness, it's part of the illness and stops them even seeing they need help. It's way, way more than just needing help to start or being able to just function after someone's cleaned up. And if you think this has only been since phones and the like you're sadly mistaken.
Not everything is mental illness, true, but what on Earth makes you think you can tell when it is or isn't and what else might be going on, and who are you to just assume it's otherwise whenever it suits you and then throw judgement at people when you have no inner knowledge of their life or circumstances whatsoever as though it's any of your business? And then make suggestions as if what works for you must work for others and they're just lazy if it doesn't? An "affront to God" my elbow.

My mom's house looks like this. We schedule times for me to come over to clean, but then as soon as I start cleaning she gets upset and starts yelling and crying about literally everything. I cleaned her kitchen while she was out of town and I was dog sitting. She knew I was going to be cleaning while she was gone. When she returned home she was stunned at the clean rooms ( I also cleaned her dining room which was adjacent to the kitchen). After her stunned silence wore off, the interrogation started. "Where's my favorite cup?" "Where's the cookbooks?" "What happened to all the recycling?" "Where's the [broken toaster oven that was a fire hazard] old toaster?"
Then she started crying that I threw away her "perfectly good" things with deep heaving sobs. When I reminded her that we agreed I was going to clean and, in fact, she specifically asked me to clean her house while she was out of town. She even said to me that she was looking forward to her "fresh start" in her newly cleaned home when she returned.
That was in 2009, and our relationship has never been the same since. I'm pretty sure that was the last time her kitchen was cleaned, too. Hoarding disorder is a hell of a disease.

    Hi again👋
You did such a great job here! I’m positive the homeowner is just tickled pink with the results. I love her canisters on the counter! They are so cute!! And the way you not only cleaned but organized the counter tops was so satisfying! I love it!
Also, I had to laugh when you mentioned the other channels that you watch here on TH-cam. I watch Every single one that you mentioned! So good! I love Barbie and Auri and Al and Jason. There are so many that I watch that are random but so entertaining! Like the culvert guy!! I love him too!
I cannot wait for the next one for this house series! So excited to see the end results!
    Stay Awesome my friend!☺️✌️✨

You could get square buckets to put in the sinks to wash up maybe and pour the water down the bathroom sink or toilet.

I moved into a home back in May with a slight mouse problem. I tried the peanut butter and mouse trap thing but that also attracted ants. I tried TomCat Mouse attract gel instead of peanut butter and it worked great. I was catching the mice WAY faster with the gel. Now there are a couple mice that are smart and can set off the trap and not get killed to eat the food. For those mice I bought some TomCat traps that use these rectangles of bait that is poison. I skipped the trap and just thru the bait for I had been setting traps. The next day the bait was gone. I replaced the bait and it hasn't been touched since and I haven't see any evidence of a mouse since either. Pretty proud of my results.

I usually prefer music during the portion that the narration is paused in other videos, however the sped up sound makes it sound like chipmunks are cleaning 😆 Keep up the good work guys.

I wonder how long it takes for these houses to go back to the filth they were? I'm a clean freak and enjoy cleaning, but i could not do what you do. Hat off to you

fun fact: the steaming method can also be done by microwaving a wet sponge! even *more* fun fact: i used to do this and one time my finger slipped while putting the time in, and it ended with the wet sponge on fire!

My question is: How do people manage to use their kitchen when it is cluttered like this? I am not being judgemental, I just can't understand how they manage. Thanks for explaining how you handle being overwhelmed. There are times when I have not known where to start but my problem is that I live in a small place (had to downsize) and don't have enough storage space.

To get odor out of microwave I put a cup of water with a tablespoon of vinegar in. Run for one minute and odor is gone.

Al Blades! I was going to suggest you check him out. He takes yards that compare with your houses and knocks them out. Both of you see what places can potentially look like. It's crazy when people turn him down. But you're funnier. So spin kick Al if you meet him.
