Should be an upgrade to Zinchenko on the left. Hopefully Timber comes back stronger. But Arsenal still need a 30 goal a season striker.
Primary concern has to be cover for Saliba and Saka, and arguably a creative right footed AM, before a 3rd striker. Last thing we need is another 2-3 months without Saliba fit to play in the right matches.
Who is this 30 goal a season striker you think they should sign?
Obviously won't be Kane or Haaland, so which one of the other 30 goal a season strikers should they buy?

Man Utd fan here, Calafiori will be a great signing for Arsenal. He is great with ball and more versatile than the more expensive Branthwaite.
If Arsenal sign a striker like Ivan Toney or Isak with Calafiori... I think that puts them in the drivers seat next season.
I am really surprised Utd did not inquire about Calafiori while talking to Bologna about Zirkzee.

Arteta's focus on defensive signings is too much
They aren't just defensive signings. Everything starts from the back including the attack. The reason Arsenal are able to maintain pressure on the opposition and create so many chances in the opposition's box is because of how technical their defense and midfield is. Able to maintain a high line and distribute/carry the ball where necessary. Left side of defense needs bolstering. Zinchenko was never a defender and our tactics have evolved so we can no longer afford to cover for his defensive frailties. Timber also isn't a left back and will have a more prominent role in midfield going forward possibly being a longer term replacement for Partey. Kiwior is good but not great, he will need time to develop and is more useful in CB than LB. Tomi is also good cover on the left but is better suited on the right, therefore he is better cover for CB or RB where his passing and overlapping abilities are better utilized. Therefore clearly Califiori is needed.
DeLigt is great, Tuchel just wanted a different style of CB. Same with Koeman… playing with a back 3 that DeLigt is not used to. As a Bayern fan, I’m not happy that he’s leaving!
DeLight is a poor player mentally. He left Juventus and now he's leaving Bayern. He doesn't know how to fit in

For his time at Juve, the club fell apart behind the scenes. At Bayern, they are rediscovering themselves after 11 years of dominance.
