The 300 is such a cool car cause even tho ppl can call it cheap or whatever, almost everyone can agree that it still looks amazing and still has a lot of presence. If only Chrysler actually cared about it, imagine the 300 and other Chrysler vehicles with the same quality of materials as they're giving Jeep.
Yeah even the older gen still looks great and you can’t say it’s a shitty old car like some other models. They could have kept improving it shame that they didn’t
@@MarspeedCars yup I was actually thinking of the older gen (2005-2010, the current general is cool but the older one was imposing yet classy 😆, it's crazy to imagine what Chrysler could've been today, especially looking at what Genesis is doing and what Jeep has done recently
If the 300 was to receive a newer body .. I’m highly positive it’s only gonna be a concept due to how luxurious it’ll be and the pricing it’ll cost to make a new chassis
Ion care about the quality tbh or even what the inside looks like. But with this Chrysler and charger/challenger id got probs with them because the insides are actually nice but im not going to say the quality is good but as long as they are taken care of they wont always start breaking apart

Interestingly, at Age 74, i Believe:: I remember the first 300 ( and INDIANAPOLIS 500 Pace Convertible , etc 195?,experts help me)…Chrysler has been a notch above others , etc. Also, interestingly, my first car was a **1954 Ford V8 2 Door( with 57 /289 (?) V8/4 BBL Rochester/ dual exh, etc).. my Father found at Service Station in Columbia Coty Indiana……mechanic had built it up, etc.

I love my 09 Heritage Edition. It's on Truhart coilovers and is dropped about 3.5 to 4 inches all around. My favorite part about it are the wheels. They make or break a car and the ones Chrysler chose were spot on. I've got people turning their heads, giving me thumbs up and even taking pics of it (usually other mopar guys). Hope to see it covered in the next video!

My '15 300S (Redline Red) has Everything we all love from top to bottom. The car is 6 years old and looks and performs like it's factory fresh. The Hemi paired with the 8 speed trans is enough to walk away on anything less than than a coyote , vette, or SRT package. A few bolt ons and you have a "Dad Rod".
I'm a grown ass man and the car is a good representation of my taste.
Chargers and Challengers are taking over the streets and I'm proud to be in the Dad model.

That's awesome that you show the older 300 models some love! Have yet to see anyone mention the rare paint colors like my 09 Deep Water Blue SRT8 300. Mine is #7 of 13 made for the year of 09 and if I recall only around less than 50ish were made for 2010.
59 total on 2010 and only 18 of them being in the US.
Do you know of any other rare paint colors for the first Gen SRT8 300?
@@lukey5401 there was specific shade of red that was also pretty rare. I think it was called deep lava red but I have only ever seen one in person to this day. Might have only been available for 2005. Steel blue was also pretty hard to come by.

I just recently had to get rid of my 2006 chrysler 300c heritage edition. I had it in the inferno red. it was a great vehicle and the reason I fell in love with these cars

In case you introduce in a future episode the 2011-13 Chrysler 300C European version (Lancia Thema), I’m the owner of one of them and have some brochure about the trims option that were available, what they offer and the cost. I can give you some infos that are hard to find to make this gorgeous car shine ! I fell in love with the 300C in 2008 when I was a young kid, and I’m now very happy to possess one of them since 2019 and sharing what’s about this European version.

The heritage edition was probably the best edition... due to it have Nappa Leather seats. It seemed like the LH cars had better standard leather than in the LX vehicles.
Yeah those “SRT style” seats in the white/tan color looked unbelievable. Couldn’t get that color with that seat in any other LX. Not a big fan of the regular leather seats they used for these cars though
@@MarspeedCars Yeah I bought a brand new 07 R/T and noticed how the leather wasn't all that great. I test drove a 07 300 touring and its leather was textured and felt better than the Chargers leather.
I have a 2006 Chrysler C300 Heritage Edition. I bought it from Canada in 2006, and until now, it is with me and my favorite. The kilometer has reached 480, and it is in the best condition. I cannot give it up.

You know what maybe create an whole un depth series of rare edition Chrysler products from the very first rare ones Which I think go back to dealer only offers but sanctioned fully by big brother in Detroit. IDK, if thats true? Alot of rumors and Im a Ford guy BUT I also live some old 70s mopars also and you do such a good job that it would be great to maybe expand here to all spec edition mopars?? God knows they did enough of them. Please consider it and youre the perfect man for the job. Cant wait

Absolutely love these cars, I got 3 of these, an 06 inferno heritage, 07 inferno srt8 and a 06 black Platinum, my heritage gets used every day and the seats are amazing for long distances. However, coming from the 300m the interiors of a C aren't quite as nice imo which is why I decided to save my rust free 2002 300m special with a bad motor and trans to find a donor car so I can enjoy having a special again.
'06 Heritage was the best one IMO. The best interior colors with light grey/charcoal w/ carbon fiber look steering wheel accent and door pulls. '07 had that horrible translucent green accents w/light burl wood...and they went to lighter browns and wood accents in later years which took the sport look away. Plus the awesome Heritage 300 badge went missing on the '09's!. Only thing that would have made the '06 perfect was 20" wheels...though it rides a lot better on 18's. It was really a Charger R/T w R/T package in a 300 body.
I owned a heritage edition (2007) and recently sold it to my neighbor.

It's a shame Chrysler didn't care to offer an Imperial version of this 300 body. It could have been beautiful . A different grill and different tail lights and a few minor trim/ badge changes inside and out would have done the trick. Rolls/Bentley got away with doing just that for decades.
Can't wait until the "I'm a sucker" limited edition package comes out for an extra 3 grand.....

I have a 05 300c awd. It has the original 5.7 hemi and transmission. It has 301,912 on it. Still have very strong. It has all the bells and whistles. Wouldn't trade it or own any thing else.
Years ago when these cars come out I use to admire their style fit for man ride.

There is a 2006 300 Heritage Edition with around 60,000 miles up for sale in my neck of the woods with an asking price of US$ 8,600. Would this be considered good in light of production numbers etc.?

I've seen a few of the Heritage edition 300 with the tri-colored 300C badge without knowing what it was. I didn't know there was a Dub edition of the 300. Probably the rarest 300 I've seen, outside of the SRT version, is a Mopar 300. And then there's one with a Hemi C badge on the door, and a "SRT Concept" badge on the trunk. Wonder what that is?
Yeah me too heritage editions seem a bit more common. Maybe you’re thinking of SRT Design? Because that was like an SRT lookalike package for the C (5.7L) with a decklid badge. As for the C on the doors I believe most of the 06-10 300C models had those for the 5.7s again. Trying to think of what else the SRT concept could be!
@@MarspeedCars It may have been a SRT Design badge. I only got a quick look. I know it wasn't a SRT Core badge, as I have seen one of those. The Core design is another rare one.

I got my 06 signature series, with that badge. In that blue. My brother gave it to me so I don't know much about it.
Chrysler biggest issue was they didn’t differentiate it enough from the chargers. I think with the current Gen they should’ve gave the 300 a higher output than the RT chargers since they got rid of the SRT versions. I think they could get 405hp out of the 5.7 and make that output exclusively for the 300
You forgot about the 2010 Chrysler 300S V6 and V8, as well as the 2007-2008 300C SRT Design, and 2009 or 2010 300 Eco Style!! But whenever you get a chance, definitely cover those on the next video, as well as the 2009 Chrysler 300C Heritage Editions!!

Seats will be Heritage seats. Someone might have taken off the exterior badging but they would have left the seats. Both 06-08 and 09 Heritage editions have special badged seats

Show the Jeep Srt8s some love. Did they not make any special or rare Jeep Srt8s from 06-10?! One of my Jeep Srt8s has blue stitched seats with head rest badges and blue exterior badge. All the ones I see have black seats and and typical red badging on the 8.

Ive seen the signature series before for sale it had a cream paint job its was nice and in good condition tbh but it prob had sum problems cuz they was tryna get 8-9k. Isn’t wasn’t a bad car but ion know bout the 3.5 😂 I’ve never been in it but with its transmission I’m guessing it a bit weak at it acceleration but at least it ain’t a 2.7

Very good vid. I get lot's of questions on my chromed up, tarted up 2007 300 Touring which I keep around for fun. I added "AMG Black Series" and "V-12 BITURBO" badges to the trunk lid. Guys always say "AMG never made Chryslers". I say, wanna bet on that? I always win because AMG built the Chrysler Crossfire SRT motor and parts back in the day.
Wish they would have made a 2 door version, even better, a convertible like in the old days.
So was wondering if you are some of your subscribers have a concrete way of finding a car you use to own via a vin # (and please don't say carfax, auto check, etc...) I once owned a 2005 Chrysler 300 SRT8 (their were only about 252 made that year and mine was #4 off the assembly), loved the car but decided to trade it out around 2011 for a pickup. I have no idea what my train of thought was back then. It was my garage queen and had about 11k miles on it when I lost her. So I've been looking for years to see if it ever crashed paths with me to no avail. So...does anyone have a method to see A) it's still alive and B) where it might be located. Thanks in advance for any help...
