    Thanks again for another great video brother. I bought my son a used 300C with the 5.7. He drove it for 5 years until trading it in on a new Jeep Wrangler.
    I remember in 05 when the 300 won Car of the Year. For us hard core Mopar lovers it was definitely a proud moment.
    Yes we are interested in a part 3, please.

    You know one thing this shows is that cars really didn't get that much more expensive. They obviously increased in price but it isn't nearly as drastic as many people make it out to be when adjusted for inflation. It also shows how good of a value the 300 was

    • @omaralkayal7598
      @omaralkayal7598 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They’re are so many cars that are good value for money yeah you’re right it just needs people to put time and effort to find a good deal , and if people didn’t buy for the brand name these companies wouldn’t have dared to raise the prices

    I have a 2008 SRT Design. Chrysler told me it is 1 of 356 made like it. The car is in great shape with almost 300,000 miles. It still has a bumper to bumper warrenty! I love this car!

    300's are Absolutely Amazing and Beautiful Vehicle. One of my Cars Ever Made

  • @CapnDanTreasures
    @CapnDanTreasures 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    According to the build sheet that I obtained from Chrysler. For the VIN on the 2009 300C Heritage Edition in Dark Titanium Metallic that I own. It listed the "Eagle" EZH code 5.7L Hemi MDS VCT engine. Upon further research into this particular EZH engine code, I discovered that it is reported to have 10.5:1 Compression, 375hp, and 410ft lbs of torque for the cars, and the same compression and torque with 395hp for the trucks. I live in the Detroit area; I found this car online in May of 2024 through Autotrader, it was located in the Chicago area, and was a 1 owner vehicle. It only had 52,995 original miles on the odometer and looked pretty well kept for being 15 years old. I booked a flight to Chicago, bought the car, and drove it the 300+ miles back home. It's a great car, I absolutely Love it. Originally, it came with the 12 spoke 20" chrome wheels shown in the video we just watched, which I thought looked rather well on this car, however, the previous owner didn't share my views and had changed them out for some MKW black/silver 5 spoke wheels that I particularly didn't share his views for. So... I searched online for some original wheels in good condition to no avail. I ended up buying the non 5 spoke version Voxx gloss black Hellcat replica wheels and put those on it. I wrapped said wheels with a set of Pirelli 245/45/R20 P7 A/S Plus 3, 70K mile tires and I think it looks much better now. The ride from these tires is very comfortable and the handling is great as well. Mods I've done so far; I swapped out the "suitcase" muffler for a pair of Magnaflow 11236 mufflers and kept the rear resonators. It has a slight bit of "rumble" to it which is exactly what I was trying to achieve. I've also installed an oil catch can, a Jet brand throttle body spacer, and a MOPAR cold air intake. If you're interested in seeing this car, there are videos and pics of it on my profile. Thank you for taking the time to research and put together this video series on the variety of 300's. It was very interesting, and I really enjoyed watching. Cap'n Dan

    Do the 2008 nd up Chrysler srt8 come with the updated seats? Or is it jst the door panels, center console etc? I’ve heard they only come in 2010 but I’ve seen a lot from 2008-2010 have them

  • @re8672

    Good video on these 300 models. Particular interest in your coverage on the SRT design group as I currently own a US spec 2008 model, which I acquired in 2012. There are a few points I may add for information purposes. These apply to US/Canada builds only:
    1. SRT Design Group was available only 2007 and 2008. 2009 and 2010 was renamed to (300) S which could be equipped with the 3.5 v6 engine and thus the v6 chassis parts.
    2. Yes, chassis hardware is similar/same as Charger Daytona of the same year including ECU tune, front/rear swaybars, exhaust system and suspension. Nivomats were optional.
    3. OE was the standard 300C "egg-crate" grille.
    4. Bumper covers were non-SRT. The decklid spoiler used in 2007 was dropped/changed for 2008 on all 300 models. Overall exterior looks like the standard 300C, minus chrome mirrors and door handles.
    5. Seats have "Chrysler wing" No SRT
    6. Major SRT Design options: HID headlights, Nivomat shocks, moonroof, navigation, rear video, cold weather pkg and adaptive cruise. The "SRT option groups" were unique to the 6.1 SRT, though the individual options were available for most any 300c.

    I myself have a 2009 Chrysler 300 C HERITAGE edition. Fully loaded comes with a built-in DVD player with Boston acoustic sound. It has roughly 75000 miles or 120,000 km. Just trying to get a ballpark figure on what it’s worth. I am the second owner of the vehicle and it has no accidents and it’s never been winter driven. I live in Canada so any idea on what the car might be worth I’d appreciate it. Thank you.

    Here's the deal. The 300 is lacking horribly in one department which, in turn, disqualifies it from consideration as a truly luxurious ride, and that's the Back Seat. If this car was 2 feet longer with that extra 24 inches dedicated to the back seat (+ a host of back seat luxury options), this ride could be in the class of the Lincoln Continental and would make a comfy personal limo (not the crazy stretch things). 2 extra feet of back seat leg room + massage seats, A/C seats, entertainment, window shades, suicide doors... now there's a smart looking ride.
