I love Libromancers so much. My pipe dream of an extra support wave would be a Rival character showing up and then summoned Vendread monsters from their book. They could introduce a few new cards that could possibly merge the two strategies together.
Im tryna mix Vanquish Souls with them and its my favourite ygo thing iv ever done. They look visually awesome together and share almost all the right attributes :)

My personal favorite Libro variant is Libromancer P.U.N.K. The PUNKs can give you even more advantage and increase your ceiling a lot, but most importantly, you can use JAM Dragon Drive to search Geek Boy (Before you could also make Chaos Ruler to dig for a Ritual, since most of the one you use and their generic searcher are either LIGHT or DARK). It also has some little sinergies like being able to use Cross-Sheep to Summon a Libro from GY by Summoning Rising Carp, or using any of your Level 4 Libros with your 3 Tuners for AFD, which can swap between your Field Spells and Summon any Libro from hand. AFD in general is pretty nice, so a small engine of 3 Dragon Ravine and 1 Destrudo is also cool Also, if you are playing on Master Duel a very important card in any Libro variant is Spright Elf. You can Normal Diviner, not use its effect, Link it away with Geek boy for Elf, Elf Summon Diviner, then use its effect dumpigng Arc Light for a search and make it Level 6, then Synchro with Fire for Baronne. On the opponent's turn then you can reborn Diviner again, this time dumping N'tss for a pop
I have been on libromancer magikey for the longest time. Im very proud of the Libromancers,theyve helped me step my game up in my duel group. Benten and geekboy is full combo,but what sets my deck apart is i dont utilize diviner of the herald. I use a different spice card which helps bridge into magikey,then i can go into a swordsoul engine right after,then a centurion engine with the addition of auxila. Ancient fairy dragon is forever the GOAT
Literally my favorite deck!!! I love that you made this video! It’s a perfect example of how to make a non-meta deck consistent enough to compete in casual play and, with the right build, occasionally steal a win from a meta deck pilot.
Easily my favorite archetype of all time and have cooked up all sorts of decks with them in every format. Have had so much success with different Pure builds as well as Libro Megalith, Libro Vanquish Soul, Libro Mathmech Cyberse, and Libro Voiceless Voice. Libro Vanquish Soul was incredibly strong due to the ability of Libromancers to bridge into VS cards, the matching Attributes of both archetypes for the VS effects, and the massive hand advantage both archetypes gave you from resolving their effects. Libro Voiceless Voice was also so incredible that I ended up taking it to YCS Raleigh, as opening Diviner + Libromancer Fire (and a ritual in hand) was still full Voiceless Voice combo even if both got negated.
libromancer have a valid combo to make 4 counter dark fluid in one turn (INHALE) starting hand: LB fire or LB geek boy with a ritual monster(usually benten） in hand LB fire sp summon, search geek boy or geek boy sp summon search first appearance(field spell) search fire geek boy need to be place at the leftest corner of your field or this wont work both ending up able to search for magigirl, magigirl sp summon, 4+4, Primathmech Alembertia, search circular. Circular effect, send sigma to gy, sp summon itself. Alembertia effect, send itself to gy, sp summon sigma. Circular effect, search equation. Circular sigma link-2, cyberse witch. Equation effect, revive circular onto cyberse witch`s link marker(DO NOT SUMMON IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD UNLESS YOU HAVE BENTEN). Cyberse witch effect, remove equation in gy, search for cynet ritual and cyberse sage. cynet ritual, cost benten, ritual summon to the rightest corner of your field. (If the cost is benten): Benten effect, search diviner of the herald. Diviner normal summon, send Arc light into gy. Arc light effect, search whatever you like, I am using nekroz of clausolas in this case(remember that geek boy on the left side of your field?) Circular(level 4) + Diviner(level 6) synchro summon, Baronne de fleu.. oh wait it`s banned? Uhhh, change of plan, Swordsoul Chengying. (End of benten extended combo, back to summoning dark fluid) Cyberse witch effect, revive LB fire. Fire, witch, link-2, cross-sheep.(link summon it on the right side) Cyberse sage effect, remove cyberse witch and LB fire in gy, fusion summon Cyberse Desavewurm(onto the link marker of cross-sheep) Cross-sheep effect, sp summon sigma, draw 2 return 2. Then cyberse sage(Level 1) + Cyberse Desavewurm( Level 6), synchro summon, Wind pegasus @Ignister. Sage can recollect some other thing in ur gy but idk what you`ll choose. sigma, pegasus, link-2 splash mage. Splash mage effect, sp summon sigma. Splash mage(link-2) + Cross-sheep(Link-2) + sigma. Link-5, Firewall Dragon, Dark fluid! ... Phew, that`s quite a long one
Libromancers are such a fun archetype. As a ritual player, they are definitely one of my most favorite decks to play along side, Mikanko, and Shinobirds. Libromancer First Appearance is such an amazing card, and probably the premiere Ritual Based Field Spell in the entire game. The Shinbords field spell, Himorogi where Stars Align which takes a similar concept to LFA, but it pales in comparison by being extremely restrictive. You can summons any Wind Ritual monster however: 1.) You can only use Spirit monsters or Shinobird Tokens on the field. 2.) You can only Ritual summon from the Deck, meaning if the cards you want to ritual summon are in your hand and not in the deck, you can't use it's effect. While it does have beneficial effects such as being able to recycle spirit monster or ritual spells that are in the GY or banished, when a Wind monster returns to you hand. Having it's hard 1 per turn summons restriction + on field card Tribute really hurts it's stability. We need more Ritual Field Spell cards like LFA in order to boost Ritual Monster viability within the game.
Libromancer is like Vendread but really powerful and flexible enough to be control or OTK. Libromancer is one of the ritual decks that I've had a lot of fun playing in Master Duel, and Hardleg even got pretty high in the ladder when the patrons voted for it. This deck tore apart the Ritual Festival for me, and I hardly suffered major losses because it was just really good at control and at OTK-ing. I even have a royal rare Libromancer Displaced. You'd be surprised how many times that card has actually saved me.
Libromancers are one of my favorite decks, period. I love the style, the lore, the gameplay- and while I don't play optimally- (I focus mainly on getting out full effects Fireburst with the Ritual Spell and all) I love when I have the chance to set up a board that's Full effects Fireburst, Doombroker, Origin Story, and two set cards. Diviner is a really good way to do this because, who would have guessed, a Normal Summon in a deck of special summons that becomes a level 6 and gets a ritual monster from deck is really good XD
I love Libromancers! I have the deck built on Master Duel because I liked them during the last Ritual event we had. Also love their lore and how they play. My new favorite pet deck for sure. Even trying to build the deck irl, but with Baronne banned here in the TCG, trying to think of other decent synchros to end on because I play Diviner of the Herald. I also run 3 Benten as its easy to tribute it for Doombroker and get the search off of Benten for another Diviner of the Herald play next turn or something.
In Libromancer Monarchs we use Cyber Angel Benten to get Ehther the Heavenly Monarch to get Mega Zaborg and explode half of someone's Extra Deck and still have follow-up
I'm really proud of my Libromatika Nekroshaddoll. Combining 4 archetypes (Libromancer, Dogmatika, Nekroz, and Shaddoll) and finding the synergies between those 4 is very satisfying. Maybe not a strong deck, but this is really fun, it feels like playing with different decks in every duel.
I didn't have a Ritual deck in Master Duel until Libromancers. I haven't used the deck in months, but with the right hand, I'm pretty sure I could end on a Spright Elf pointing to Doombroker and Baronne, with a Fireburst and a DPE. The deck can really, really struggle going second, but I might even use it today if I get the Ritual/Link/Fusion daily challenge.
Since this Deck doesnt need a Normal Summon Vanity's ruler is a prime Target for Benten. Locking youre Opponent out of Special Summon. Also the Dogmatica Engine and Adventure works well in the Deck. Libromancer Realized is also quite nice in the Deck. The Token prevents you from Special Summon but not Tribute so you can use it for Vanity in a pinch. Since the Token is a "normal Monster" You can make sure Dracoback from Adventure is life to bounce a Card.
I remember playing against one once where they made the one that grows with each effect and had a ton of protections... anyway i beat over it with my raidraptors

Paired it with Dogmatika incase they can’t work with themselves or need a hand, with Ecclesia saving the day searching Alba Zoa or at worst Punishment. In Master Duel, I’d do the Libro gameplay (hope for diviner/benten) By the time the best case scenario of Spright Elf + Baronne + Doombroker, and dogmatika’s special off of existing ED mons, I’d happily go into the lock and shoot for Alba Zoa with the board and Fleurdelis waiting to be an extra negate.
It got to the point where I wanted to be silly. Alba Zoa turn 1, turn 3 Diviner pitch arc light/Ntss, special Libro Agent, make Tzolkein (which if you can get it before setting up Doombroker, the set trap from deck cheats out a free Crystal Wing) Since Tzolkein counts as a lvl 12, you could use him and Alba Zoa to just…. Hard make Zeus.
And one more fun route to go for, go into IP, Doombroker (or another libro incase of brick), set Displaced (or have both it and Intervention) Opponent has two bodies-> Link off with IP-> Chain Displaced-> yoink 1 body-> link IP and yoinked body into SP-> SP gets to banish another card.
I play bonded because i play 1 pre prep. If i go 1st, i get bonded and fiya starter, gives me a ritual monster AND allows me to set up for rank 3 plays. If i go second? I get fiyaburst. If your opponent has apolloser, tire her out and then summon fireburst. You pretty much otk.

How well does Libromancer synergise with Nemleria? The power of dreams and imagination sounds like a great theme for a deck.
