    I use only 256gb Sandisk Extreme for this camera as it consumes space at double the rate of the Hero 7. If you are like me, I try to never turn the camera off when I’m out as you can guarantee that’s when something will happen and you’ll miss it. You will require 2 x 256gb cards for a full days riding if you’re on tour.

    Been riding bikes for over 51 years , never needed cruise control , waste of time , lots of trips nearly 500 miles in a day , I find today there putting so many driving aids on bikes, it’s making people lazy and taking the real joy out of motorcycling . 😳😊👍

    I love my Triumph Tiger 660 sports bike I have had mine just over year and I have never had cruise control, therefore it does not bother me and I have heated gloves. The longest trip I did was from Worthing to Leicestershire and I found it such a comfortable ride.

    I really like this bike, it's obviously built to a bit of a budget which would explain the lack of cruise control, heated grips and possibly centre stand. Great video 👍

    NO minus Point on the CC. You can get a "mechanical" CC unit for $21.oo just 'clip it on! Way cheaper than an electronic unit that you need to wire in and then. The wind screen is fine, depending on your riding temperament. You're on a Bike! its gunna get windy. Though a slightly larger screen - a few extra inches each way would have been nice. The Tigers fairing design is the plus, which is tuned for aero performance on the road. This guys acts like he wants a ZRX! This girl is a middle weight cruiser and she will Go for on the highway acceleration.... 'as needed', but he wants to "RACE" this bike. But Ok, its impressive to know what the Triple can do. The seat is fine. Dont sit all the way forward! The bike is designed to sit back and upright more so. Is he still whining about CC! Triumph Did a GREAT job on this Bike. Again its a Middle Weight and a 660. And top of the class, for her class. The Balance is Tops! He just cant ride! lol... LOVING my 22! The TRIDENT is a roadster! apples and oranges! Cheers

    Absolutely right on point. great review!
    I fell in love with this bike after watching a video by ‘Sagar Sheldekar’ in his series Hit List. Straight away I asked for test drive. Along with that I tried Trident as well.
    Test drive convinced that both the bikes behave almost the same. But I liked trident more for some reason just like how you felt.
    Considering all the extra features, better pillion seating, luggage capacity, better instrument cluster and wind shield, I went ahead with 660 ❤
    I did test drive other litre class superbikes as well along with this. As you rightly pointed out, it can definitely challenge them. ❤

    Probably the biggest complaint about this bike is no cruise control, I would have bought this bike as it ticked all the boxes for me ,then I learnt no cruise control, killed the sale. Triumph just don`t listen to what people have to say, if they had fitted or even offered the bike with cruise control then it would be a massive seller. Unfortunately in Triumphs mind it`s their way or no way but at the end of the day it`s their loss. Oh by the way I enjoyed the video.

    • @motomogul
      @motomogul  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Eric. I’m with you 100% on this. It does seem an incredibly arrogant decision to leave cruise control off and not even offer it as an upgrade. Must affect sales 🤷🏼‍♂️

  • @johndiehardmclean23

    Anything labeled as Touring,should always have cruise,heated grips & a comfy seat IMO,but all fixable if they're available as factory options & Triumph's pricingisn't too steep,compared with even my F850GS,where it's £385 for the Comfort Seat...Which thankfully the previous keeper paid for,Aswell as the Akrapovic! 🤣👍
    I've never used the cruise on my bike yet,although I've still not tried out the Dynamic mode either,but what's the rush! 😎✌️

    Why do people complain about cruise control? It’s a budget bike! It’s a good one! And there’s options, for $9400 US dollars I believe Triumph did an awesome job! 😊

    Red one is £9045, panniers topbox rack and connecting plate about £1000. Great first bike for the money. Windscreen useless and seat is uncomfortable if you do a few miles on it. Tried the comfort seat at triumph and it felt like mine before I put 1000 miles on it . I think it's the same seat. Can't find any aftermarket seats. Might get mine upholstered .

    Cracking review mate , I test rode one last summer punchy little thing would be great for 1 up touring with luggage , not sure how it would be 2 up with luggage ? , I agree very flickable and feels really light weight compared to my Tiger Sport 1050 I enjoyed it more than I thought I would , would make a great 1st big bike for someone or if bigger bikes are getting a bit much this would be perfect , safe riding Jack 👍

  • @greywolf9292
    @greywolf9292 ปีที่แล้ว

    A truly honest review of the 660 Sport, which in my opinion is one of the best looking in its class. Firm seats forcing customers to buy the "comfort" option seems to be an annoying quirk of most manufactures. As another Tiger 1050 Sport previous owner I too fully expected an upgrade of that bike. Cruise control and adjustable forks would have made this bike the tourer it proclaims to be. That chrome Rocket to me looks vulgar, much as you described it, it's overbearing whereas the smaller full chrome tank on the Thruxton R really sets that bike off.
    I've been desperate to get out on the Rocket again but rain has hampered play. Due to how filthy both myself and the bike got when caught in a previous downpour, I bought a Powerbronze extended rear hugger. The bolts they supplied are wrongly threaded and the holes in the hugger don't meet up with those in the swinging arm. I've complained and sent photos but as yet no reply. I suspect it'll be going back accompanied by a scathing review. Thank goodness I didn't do a fitting video, 6hrs in and still only two out of three fastenings secure 😟

    Wish they made a bigger engined version, it’s a great looking bike and a proper sports tourer, a 900 or 1200 with better pillion provision would be a great seller as long as it had cruise control😉

      @@misterb2787 There is a way to have both lights on low beam at the same time. Not sure where to get the kit for this project but I have seen where people have done this because they don’t like the squint look with one light. Why complain about cruise control, it’s virtually unusable in this country. Your review is the most negative review about this bike I have seen

    • @motomogul
      @motomogul  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have cruise control on my bike and I have to disagree with your comment that it’s virtually unusable. I use it all the time. It’s not only for use on motorways, I use it through speed restricted areas, especially those with average speed cameras. As for my review being negative, I’m allowed to have an opinion, you don’t have to agree with me. Look at my other reviews before you label me as negative. This bike is toted by Triumph (who I love as a manufacturer) as being a smaller engined touring bike, if you want to trek big miles across countries like France, which is right on our doorstep, without cruise control, you must be some kind of masochist. I personally think this bike is not much of a tourer. I’m sorry if you are an owner of one, as I suspect, but I have to say what I think otherwise there’s no point in doing reviews. You might want to watch another channel that agrees with your viewpoint. Thanks for taking the time to comment though. I do appreciate it 👍

    I disagree with this cruise control. It's not a good thing to have all these little things to make people think....ooh, shiny, shiny, must have!!
    It may well be argued that it could take your concentration away from the road, and as I'm sure you know,ya can't afford to take your eye off the ball when you're on a bike!

    • @motomogul
      @motomogul  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree that you can’t take your eyes off what you’re doing but I don’t see how that connects with cruise control. I find it hugely beneficial when riding through speed limited areas so I don’t accidentally exceed the limit. I also find that keeping my arm fixed in the same position for long periods can lead to cramps and slower reaction times when front braking. Applying cruise means you can move your arm and shoulder to relieve discomfort when safe to do so.
      My point is, if this is a tourer, some won’t want cc, but they don’t have to use it. The fact that it isn’t there means those that want and enjoy it, can’t have it.
