Not probably I can guarantee none of the defenders have more than 50 hours i saw so many mistakes I couldn’t keep watching past 10 mins cuz it was just frustrating but I guess we all start somewhere but the title was definitely misleading I thought i was about to see great strategies against great players but instead I just watched some greeks get bullied

7:10 i was hoping, after having seen macedon, to have a cavalry charge Inside the Walls to wipe out the light infantry capturing point companions and all that jazz… it would not have been very practical in a siege but it would have been funny.
Yo pixelated apollo I watched one of your videos and on it you said whenever in a cavalry battle always charge in diamond formation. I took that advice and applied it. I haven't lost a cav battle since!!
If you let attackers get into the city with a high balance of power, there are more chances of attackers' victory. So never lose walls without a fight. Atleast 2 cheap unit must be there at walls to engage the attackers, to get some kills, to get them tired a little and may be they lose some much needed ammo to get the walls.
I know why archers on walls can be great but i never do that as an attacker because they are very exposed to enemy missile units. Your missile units on the walls will melt very fast.
A huge problem Apollo and everyone in his vids have is that none of the attk army is close enuf to the first wave carrying siege to help if chariots come out and attack lol

But bactria could got very cheap hillmen(melee unit) which are not bad if used wisely as hillmen could be deployed on walls along with the archers support. Walls are actually very defensive and favourable for defenders. some cheap unit on walls might break heavy infantry or atleast may get a lot kills . And this is the point where you can equalise the balance of power before attackers actually entering the town.
Im really sorry but watching this was painful. It was as if the defenders intentially wanted to lose. I mean I get it if they dont have a lot of experience in playing this game but in that case they should not be put in a tournament against very skilled players. Eather way, great commentary from Apollo as always.

They defenders knew that it would take lots of time for the attackers to break through, especially since they were waiting so patiently skirmishing down the defenders for all its worth. The defenders was trying to stall out the attackers so they could win by time. In fact if you look at the end, they literally had two more seconds and then the defenders would win by default.(I didn’t read the rules and if that’s against them then I now look like a moron)
We took the city with roughly 13 minutes to spare. The battle timer you see on the lower right of the screen is simply how long the game actually lasted. If you go to the beginning of the video you will see the battle timer begins at 47 minutes and 37 seconds or something like that. The battle lasts for 1 whole hour at the most. But I appreciate you cutting the defenders some slack. Our team talked at the end of both matches and there were plenty of gg's, lots of laughs and they're really stand up guys. They also justified to us why the walls were not defended and where they knew things were going wrong. They learned from their mistakes but at the end, it was a fun fight for both sides and I hope we play more. Good effort Last Call!

Dispite defenders played like beginners, the attackers had to finish it much much quicker. My respect for the defenders to fight to the last minit.
