It's called "Winter is Here" and it's currently on Curseforge. It's great for ideas on lore and and is decently challenging, but not as challenging as RLCraft don't worry.
This is a great idea! Plus it involves dragons, too. I read about it and the snow just gets worse until you dig an underground base or switch dimensions. Dragons + Survival + Snow is a great combo.

@@itsterres they adapt and also in a node biome, any adaptation will also apply to the rest of the parasites so eventually they gain immunity to fire until you kill the node

little tip. If you hear the damage sound change when a parasite gets hit, it means it has adapted to your weapon. Means you have to change to a different type of weapon. For example, it will become immune to an iron sword that was used against it, but a diamond sword will still work. No item is immune to adaptation

I mean parasites is an insanely imbalanced mod. Without revives it's literally impossible since there are completely invisible enemies, enemies that teleport basically on top of you, enemies that can hit you through walls with magic damage, and all the enemies have insane health and damage that also scales up over time.

@@Proximitytwo Not impossible, but basically the whole point of the mod right now is not to survive it, it's to see how long you'll be able to survive it
It's not like Sculk Horde where you can end the infestation. You have ways to go back a little bit, but passed a certain stage, it's only a matter of time until you just die, no matter how good you are at the game (technically there are ways to survive it for as long as you want, but it's like any other mod, and it would be pointless to play it this way)
Of course you can survive it if you have other mods like OreSpawn with it, but it's just because OreSpawn is insanely unbalanced and has swords with over 400atk damage
Well if peresits can be unfair I can be unfair
The only way I can think of to “beat” the parasites is to manipulate the spawns and kill as many parasites as possible using a mob farm during the early stages
Kim gets bullied so much, but I love it.

i tried the mod been hours the nether nor the end is not safe. different dimension had each stage nether start at -1 with -50 points since its already dark buglins will spawn a lot. dont forgot about zombie pigman, they spawn a lot as well so more spawn = more points for the evolution

@@JericArudtistd i tried mine, overworld phase 10 then i made a portal but covered it around in obsidian, and i waited for 20 minutes and still no parasite spawned
The f3 thing is because when they make a world they probably run a bunch of commands or change the world config file, and while doing that the days go by, making f3 unreliable. For example, in previous 100 days videos, every horde that popped up was Sean using commands to summon it.

If anyone is confused, sean misspoke the beckon stages. There are FOUR stages of beckon and there is no fifth stage. the first stage is spawned by killing other parasites and gradually grows to more stages depending on the evolution phase. the fourth stage beckon spawns the "node" or the block that spawns the parasite biome.

So either way, sleeping or not they will gain power, and it's better to just use that extra time to hunt them and get more supplies.

It makes all armor you make completely pointless, making you as weak as naked at any point of the game. The beneficial mechanics like Lures (to reduce the evolution phases) are made in a way to be useless and not provide any benefit. Why have they even made them then?

One small little tip! There's a few things called "Bobmazon" books. If you've gotten a specific achievement you can craft the book that's named after the achievement, eg. "Bobmazon Materials" and buy things from the book using bottle caps. The bought items are sent down from an orbiting Bobmazon station. The first achievement requires having gotten a Minecraft-Grade Copper.
Side-note: This is using the Alcater Port, otherwise known as the Extended version. I do know how it is in the Reloaded version.
Side-Side-Note: The modification table is one of the most useful blocks to exist. It allows you to apply modifications to armor, some of which you can find in the wild. For instance, 1:500 spiders drop a modification that removes bad potion effects. The bottle of scrumpy that can be found in some chests can be slotted in leggings to give you 1 free revive to full health upon lethal damage.
