In Canada, our Nursing diploma was two or two no half year, but we called registered practical nurse or registered practical nurse. I am not sure whether Canadian LPN or RPN equivalent to ADN in the state. We work at full scope of nursing in Ontario. However, LPN in US only takes one year😢😢😢

You have to get some form of nursing education. Like an accelerated program where to get your bachelor in nursing in 18 months or less.

If you immigrate on dv lottery or family based greencard etc you will not need to take English. But if coming on employment based visa you will need it for visa screening.

It's easier to move here if you are already a registered nurse in Kenya. Caregiver jobs are often given to registered nurses in kenya who come to work as caregivers/CNA while they wait to take the NCLEX to become registered in the USA

@nafulasharleen I graduated nursing school in my country..we are only given 3 chances in my homelNd...and because I exhausted all my chances I was only given the option to become CNA...I then apply to NYSB and there is where I was able to sit the exams again given that I completed Nursing school. But in so I still can't get a job because most of the agencies are asking if I am a registered nurse home even tho u pass the nclex and is RN in the states. So I ask, please is there anyone that emply person like me in the state?

I’m registered nurse from Tanzania,I didn’t wanna use agency I wanted to do Nclex but I’m stucked since I tried to pay for the exam but Pearson vue said the payment method is not available when I called they said I my country is restricted to pay so I should visit the nearest Pearson vue for payment
So I went to South Africa and they said they are not allowed to collect any payment.
Now I don’t really know what to do,I have no idea how I can pay for my exam
one option is to find someone in the USA who has a credit or debit card to make the payment on your behalf. Alternatively you can get a prepaid visa card loaded with American currency and pay that way.

When you immigrate you just take the Nclex and if you pass you start working right away.
what you didn't tell your followers is that EB3 is in serious retrogration and will likely take a lot of time up to 2025.
The already know its a long process! I teach an online class and we cover everything. No worries there!

Public health nursing is different than registered nurse. Unless the diploma covered registered nurse curriculum and the person is registered: licensed to work as a registered nurse in that country already and the maybe have a masters in public health then that will work.

First step is to register and pass NCLEX in any of the 50 stated in the US. You need to get your degree evaluated depending on state requirements etc

You will still need to complete them since you have to be licensed in at least one of the 50 states in USA to practice as a nurse here.
