Ash vampires are kin to Dagoth Ur, not regular vampires. Common vampires in Morrowind live in tombs.
Corprus Stalker is not undead. Walking corpses in Morrowind also live in tombs.
I can't highlight this enough. Morrowind has actual vampires, but this comparison shows the completely wrong thing unfortunately. Ash vampires aren't actual vampires, but are instead eldritch mutant dunmer who received "blessings" from the heart of Lorkhan out of their devotion to House Dagoth.

Never liked how ghosts were in skyrim, they were just people but reskinned, and i liked the design of how in previous games you had to have enchanted weapons to deal any damage against em where as skyrim ghosts can be attacked with any type of weapon enchanted or not.

I really hope that's their appearance in Skywind & Skyblivion, make fighting them scary & a challenge beyond just another bandit.
It honesyly used to be Baldurs Gate and DnD and now it has degenerated into a kiddie game

There's a good quest part of Bloodmoon main quest where you have to save a little snow bear it was cute.
It's hard to see much when your characters eyes are covered in blood.

Nothing beats the Sprussy from Oblivion though.
I like both tbh. The flame atronach in Oblivion gets all up in your face with the punching and fire touch. Looks more like a warrior.
But I also really like skyrim 's graceful flame atronach.
The frost atronach I prefer Oblivion cause it can shoot ice projectiles and look more intelligent. Skyrim 's is more like a golem but still cool.
Storm atronach I think I prefer morrowind lol. But the other two are good too.
Morrowinds bdsm atronochs were a bold choice, and I respect it way more than skyrim's generic elementals.

There were no gold saints in the original Skyrim. Comparing Udurfrukt and an ordinary troll is not very good. I subscribe to the comment below, Ash vampires are the defeat of Dagoth Ur and are not related to ordinary vampires.

It's crazy that Oblivion was one of the first 360 games and Skyrim was one of the last. They look like completely different systems.

"Ash vampires" are only vampires in the name, they aren't related to other vampires.
Skyrims "gitant rat" is a Skeever. They are different species.
Most weird evolution is the Deadroth. He evolved from a Mainly magic user into the most feral Beast of all deadra. ESO even made them more big and feral than Oblivion.

Golden Saints look soo much better in Morrowind. In Oblivion they look kind of goofy (goes for the most of Oblivion designs).
There's actual Zombies in Skyrim now too.
Oblivion’s ghosts were the best, they just feel really fairytale like, instead of just a guy glowing, they had mist and had creepy noises, although morrowind’s ghosts were pretty freaky too haha

It's less the models, more the designs. Total inconsistency, often worse redesigns, and lazily reusing bonesets are just how they operate.

Ash vampires are a misnomer, there are real vampires in morrowind though. Also, some of the skyrim ones are creation club items, or not perfect matches (skeever vs rats, corprus stalkers aren't undead like oblivion zombies). good vid overall tho

So Beth tryed to rush it to the point it could be in the christmas sales in december 2005 just after the xbox release, then realized this is impossible and drove the speed back to get and additional 5 months for developement and still threw a heavily bugged game onto the market?
My answer before didnt exactly shine a bright light on Beth, but your reason, if painted out in detail, makes Beth look absolutely incompetent.
Which stands still true, because the most important updates to make Oblivion actually playable came much much later with the adons - talking the f-bomb.

I played oblivion after skyrim as I got into elder scrolls late and let me tell you I expected easy ghost encounters like skyrim, but they just made me shit myself instead.
Skyrim looks more realistic but damn if Oblivion is not nostalgic it was my first(kinda) ES game

I mean, I prefer the more Woodlike appearance in Skyrim, since it makes the Spriggans look more like actual nature spirits instead of just women with some plants on them. We already have nymphs for the whole nature spirit woman thing, so let spriggans be different.
The animated wood vibe is a lot cooler than the generic sex nymph they had going on before.
Although Skyrim is my favorite, I feel like they really tuned down stuff from concept art and the fantastical element from older games.
