I can't highlight this enough. Morrowind has actual vampires, but this comparison shows the completely wrong thing unfortunately. Ash vampires aren't actual vampires, but are instead eldritch mutant dunmer who received "blessings" from the heart of Lorkhan out of their devotion to House Dagoth.
Never liked how ghosts were in skyrim, they were just people but reskinned, and i liked the design of how in previous games you had to have enchanted weapons to deal any damage against em where as skyrim ghosts can be attacked with any type of weapon enchanted or not.
I like both tbh. The flame atronach in Oblivion gets all up in your face with the punching and fire touch. Looks more like a warrior. But I also really like skyrim 's graceful flame atronach. The frost atronach I prefer Oblivion cause it can shoot ice projectiles and look more intelligent. Skyrim 's is more like a golem but still cool. Storm atronach I think I prefer morrowind lol. But the other two are good too.
If you think Skyrim looks worse than the YELLOW HAZE of Oblivion then you are tripping. Every game from 2005-2010 had this piss filter and honestly Skyrim doesn't have jt

I mean, I prefer the more Woodlike appearance in Skyrim, since it makes the Spriggans look more like actual nature spirits instead of just women with some plants on them. We already have nymphs for the whole nature spirit woman thing, so let spriggans be different.

Not gonna lie, Flame Atronachs have always been one of my favourite creature designs in Morrowind, so when the next two TES games came out and changed their design more and more towards 'hot lady' I was so disappointed Never forgave Bethesda for that one 😂
