Glad you enjoyed it 😀 Casita are great trailers and the owners we have spoken to, all love their trailers. Check out our walkthrough of the Casita Spirit Deluxe. Thanks for watching!
We actually went to Can Am and looked at the 1743 and the 2114 ....the 2114 is MUCH more comfortable and does not weigh too much more and fits in in most campsites . We love our 2114 ! ,
We love our Alto 1713! Have had it for just over 2 years, now. Agree with all the pros and these are the reasons we bought it. The cons are minor. If any of them are a deal breaker for you, stay home. Those big rigs aren't what I call camping. We lived in our Alto for 4 months during our house build with our two cats (with the added exterior porch on the Keider rail). It was a little tight at times, but super cozy and comfortable. It is our happy place. Why would we change that? Thanks for this review.
We pick up our R1723 later this month after a 19 month wait! Super excited to learn about it and explore the US & CA with it. Thank you for all your information and quality videos we have been watching for a few years now.
We're so excited for you! We're sure you're going to love it and we hope yours comes with the new lithium battery and bigger tanks than ours! Thanks so much for watching!
@@DayHikerFromTheSix Yes, larger tanks in the new model with a beefier frame which is why they increased the tank capacity. Also they are now standard with the 15” tire. Lithium batteries are now standard.
I upgraded from tenting with an InTech Luna Rover. High quality teardrop. Pricey, but it's worth it. I bring along my instant-up Coleman 6 person tent as another hangout spot and/or where the Luggable Loo goes. Like you said, this forces me to be outside most of the time.
I really like the InTech's. The quality of materials is a step above most RVs, and the construction is also top notch with the full aluminum cage. If their bigger trailers were not so tongue heavy, we would have seriously considered one ourselves.
@@DayHikerFromTheSix good point about tongue weight. I worked extensively with my dealer's service techs to make sure my tow vehicle (2nd gen Honda Ridgeline) could safely haul my teardrop. Always good to listen to the experts. Cheers.
How’s the trailer rental business going for you. That’s something I thought about doing. Buying a trailer and renting it out. Curious how the insurance would work out for that. Maybe do a video on that Thanks for the video.
It’s definitely on the radar for upcoming videos. It’s been going well, with a few caveats…rentals have made RV content difficult to film, and it is challenging dealing with setting up newbies to tow for the first time. Overall though it’s been a good experience!
I am glad it’s working out for you. If you were close by. I would be one of your customers 😉 But I am way too far in Southern California. Look forward the next video. Been watching your videos. I do enjoy them. Hmm better check not sure if I subbed yet. Ok thanks and see you on the next video.
If you could send the alto back. What would you choose over it??? I remember you speaking about the tab 400 and how you would have chosen it if it had 4 sleepers when you bought.
If the Tab 400 had a bunk bed and the tongue weight wasn't so high we might have considered it, although we would still buy our Alto because the beds are so much bigger. As to what RV would we choose if we were to do it again, stay tuned for an upcoming video 😀 Thanks for watching!
@@DayHikerFromTheSix I am very torn between putting a deposit down on the new 2024 tab 400 or f1743 alto. It's only for 2 ppl at best one 50 one 30. I am in Toronto just like you :). Tough decision. I hear how much nicer the tab 400 feels / looks inside. But the alto weight...

It's really a matter of taste and personal use. They're both great RV's. Let's us know what you decided 😀 Good luck 👍
Those are "new" prices, do you have a video on used trailers? Not everyone has the $ for new one.
The Safari Condo RV's don't depreciate. You can check the Altoiste Facebook group to see how much people are selling them for. Thanks for watching!
