We rented one in August and pulled it with our 2021 Santa Fe which is rated for 350#/3500# with trailer brakes. The trailer comes with electric brakes so we just needed a brake controller which the rental company provided. The Santa Fe had no trouble pulling the trailer - plenty of power.
Obviously the people commenting on this haven't priced trailers lately? This is actually quite reasonable for what this thing has, especially with the boondocking kit, etc.. somebody said a BMW cost less, Seriously? . I don't believe they make regular trailers but if you are talking about a BMW motorhome there anywhere from 150- $300,000. Closest thing you could compare to this is an Oliver trailer or one of the small airstreams, both of which cost more. Do a little comparison shopping, inflation's hitting everybody.
Looks beautifully made for weekender for two. Four no way. It is so tiny I couldn’t spend more than a weekend in it. But lovely it is! PS. Prudent is not my strong suit especially on holiday.😊
In my opinion this is the finest small trailer on the market. We had a 2022 purchase price was $38k US dollars. Had it one year due to health reasons had to sell it. We got 91% of our money back. Now it’s the tour bus.
Lack of an area to hang clothes is by far the biggest drawback. A couple more cu.ft fridge with a bigger freezer section would be the bomb. I understand these trailers are geared more to buyers with small vehicles and a more minimalistic camping style. However for someone that wants to road trip for a month it would be nice to have a bigger fridge and a place to hang clothes.
You're right, more storage for clothes and food is always good. However, speaking for experience, we did a 3 week road trip out West with a family of 4 on our Alto R1723 and it never felt like we were missing anything! You learn how to camp on the minimalist side and you buy fresh groceries as you go along. Thanks for watching!
The 2018, 2019, and 2020 had a wardrobe option where the large fridge sits (next to bed). This option's fridge was smaller and sat across the aisle below the counter. I liked this option too for hanging clothes. You can always get an additional chest type fridge to supplement the smaller onboard fridge. Or simple coolers will work as well. I'm looking for a used 400, and the wardrobe is a big plus.
Having never owned one, I couldn’t say. If you are thinking about buying one, we always recommend joining the Facebook owners group to get accurate information on these types of issues. Plus you’ll get all kinds of tips and hacks specific to the trailer you are looking at. Thanks for watching!
It’s not the simplest question to answer. Check out this video to help you figure it out: Payload & Tongue Weight vs.Tow Capacity: What Size of Travel Trailer Can You Safely Tow? th-cam.com/video/k3cDvnW9d7Y/w-d-xo.html
Not a fan of the circle sink (not big nor deep enough) under the sink would be better if the shelves could rotate 360. Ive said this before and I'll say it again, the bed frame needs to be adjustable for height for more storage underneath, the shower has improved except the door (please use sliding door) I would add a clothesline in the shower to dry clothes. I plan on also adding a table that can fold into the outside trailer walls so I have more room to cook or clean tools outside. (Again the table will need to have pegs to adjust height to level) Just some upgrades I believe would make the TAB 400 more better
You're not going to get more than one or 2 acres And for that. And then you're going to sleep on the ground and you're not going to have any septic, electric, heat or anything else. Get yourself a good tent! 😁
That is very expensive I think it was also waste of space the have bunk beds, this is a trailer for 2. may be they can add dry bath instead. I also agreed the tongue is too heavy.
Obviously you haven't priced trailers lately. It's actually quite reasonable. Their closest competitor is an Oliver. Also a very nice trailer but more expensive and about the same size. After that look at airstreams the small ones, They also cost more.
Unfortunately, it’s pretty much where this type of trailer is at price-wise across the industry. With the high level of equipment, it’s not surprising. It’s definitely not cheap, but I think it’s good value.
My favorite camper! Has everything I need and want! And I have lived on a small sailboat for years with a toddler!
We agree, it's an awesome trailer. Love the interior and the high quality. Thanks for watching!
I love this little trailer!
It's a great trailer in compact design and good quality. Thanks for watching!
I loved everything about this RV. Perfect for a small family.
We agree! It's a very smart design and good quality. Glad you enjoyed it 😀 Thanks for watching!
I really want this trailer to be my first buy, if I get one.your video was well done and better then most folks doing reviews. Thanks.
We really appreciate it 😃 It's a great quality trailer. Good luck. Thanks for watching!
Finally. Someone tells us how tall the shower stall is. That’s always ignored. Please do this on all your reviews please. Thank you.
Nice video, we are soon looking to upgrade from our tag xl.
Sounds exciting! Best of luck with your new rig 👍 Thanks for watching!
Love this camper, it seems perfect. Our XC90 is rated for 500/5000lbs, I wonder if it'd work!
Thanks for watching!

You make some good points! Thanks for watching!

Small campers are not for everyone and that's Ok. You learn how to camp on a more minimalist way. Happy camping 😃

A great quality trailer that holds its value 😀 Thanks for watching!
As a fellow Canadian who would be using this from spring to fall, any ideas about how well insulated that window over the bed is?
On the day we filmed it was below zero and the trailer was not drafty. This is a solid 3 1/2 season camper. Thanks for watching!
Do all of these models have the bunk option?
Only Tab400 offers the bunk option. Thanks for watching!
Wow!
Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Tiny trailer but seems like a lot of space inside
It's size is deceiving, it has a lot of storage! Thanks for watching!
55” mattress is a full size
Sleeps 2 adults comfortably 😃

How good does the A/C work down low like that I live in Florida?

NUCamp should design a Tab 600 model. Larger refrigerator, closet to hand clothes. Just more space for “stuff”.
Maybe they will one day! Thanks for watching!
I own a Chevy equinox with the 4 cylinder, can I tow the larger of these 2 campers

Overall it has potential we don't like the microwave on top because we are short and have learned by getting burned!
Consider a small portable microwave as an option. Thanks for watching!
Bigger tanks, please.
We always wish for bigger tanks! Thanks for watching!
ทำไมไม่รีวิวที่นอนก่อน
Usually, we review the bed sizes when we show the sleeping areas. Thanks for watching!
No hanging area for cloths.
In small or large RV's hooks are always useful 😃 Thanks for watching!
A bit high priced for me but thanks for sharing
Our pleasure 😀 Thanks for watching!

We're not stupid to how they refrain from giving a larger fridge. But at least they're not hiding cinchiness.Other than that...its o.k..
Thanks for watching!
Would rather invest 30 grand
In property.
30k wouldn't get you half a garden shed in Toronto, but if you can get land for that cheap, good for you!

Way overpriced! Should be a $15k US price.
Good quality RV's come at a higher cost these days! Thanks for watching!

56k CAD!!!! That’s absurd. No one will buy this.

@@DayHikerFromTheSix I can buy a BMW, Audi or Benz for that amount. I’ll pass on the camper.
Everything except a reasonable price. Over $30,000? Hahahahaha
Prices seem to be higher all across the RV industry. Thanks for watching!
Not even a full queen bed, no thank you at that price.
Thanks for watching!
You might be able to squeeze four people in that tuna can but they’re not going to sleep. Get real.
Thanks for watching!
cost to much period
