Hi all, as usual, pricing is the most complex aspect of making these walkthrough videos. This is a heads up that Safari Condo is selling 2027 model trailers right now, and they've changed their US pricing model, so the prices are quite a bit higher than what is quoted in the video. Contact Safari Condo directly for wait times and current pricing. Here are 2025 prices from the SC website just to give you an idea. ***These prices are an estimate: you must contact the manufacturer directly for the most up to date pricing!*** US 2025 Model Prices R1723-44,109 USD F1743 Expedition-56,299 USD F2414-52,719 USD Canadian 2025 Model Prices R1723 $52,709 CAD F1743 EXP $64,899 CAD F2414 $62,519 CAD
I really enjoy 'Day Hikers' analysis of small and mobile travel trailers....A couple of additional comments...The Alto's have a very unique wall and roof construction- if I recall correctly its a honeycomb structure of aluminum and composites....No chance of rot or mold. It does mean that the roofs aren't walk on types and I wonder how easy the units are to repair when you get the inevitable dings and scratches. I haven't seen alot of commentary about the insulation values of the walls/roof and the suitability of these units for cold-weather camping. My guess is also that the tankage is not enclosed or heated. They exhibit an incredible amount of storage for their size and the fit and finish appear to be at the high end. Great overview of the three key models!
We were supposed to pick our R1723 up in April of 2024 and just got an email that is would not be ready until July of 2024. After 18 months what’s another 3??? Can’t wait to get it. But definitely prefer the old logo over the new. But happy with either. Disappointed only in the fabric choice now. They have eliminated the chartreuse green color interior fabric which was a big disappointment.
We also had a delay in the delivery of ours but trust us, it's worth it 😀 We are split on the logo. We picked the blue fabric but then decided to cover it with upholstery in vinyl to protect from spills. We've owned our R1723 for over 3 years and we absolutely love it 😀 You can check the Walkthrough Part 1 and 2 videos of our trailer for more information. Happy camping! Thanks for watching!
High quality, light weight trailers come with a high price tag. We recommend renting and trying it out before committing to such a big financial commitment no matter which rig you're looking at. Thanks for watching!

I hate how the new snail hides under the handle on the front of the retractables. Luckily we have the old snail on a different model. 😃

The last trailer was my favorite . Price steep. Not sure it is worth it.😊

Can you sleep in it with out deploying the roof? On the first one.😅
For a quick nap, yes you can. You can also use the kitchen and the washroom on a pitch 😀 Thanks for watching!

Gallons? Why not in liters so everybody knows how much it is.
Or both!
Thank you for pointing it out. We are going with gallons because most manufacturers list gallons. Thanks for watching!
