Beautiful truck. Not living in the USA I’m curious about the economics of a combo like this. Would you say the average American or Canadian could afford to own a setup such as this?

It would be nice to have the toilet on a slide system that would allow more room. They need to get rid of curtains in the bathroom and use that shower door that goes into the pocket door.

I was really surprised by everything about this truck camper experience, from the spaciousness of the camper, to the fuel economy of the Ford PowerStroke diesel. Really gives me something to think about for my retirement RV...🙃

I think it's fantastic I wish that I had one. If I had a truck I would absolutely get one of those over an RV.

Must of become an option when adding doors to cabinets? Just make sure to check that option box so your equipped with bathroom and entrance doors.

Great overview! My first viewing of your TH-cam Channel. I had a basic truck camper in the 1970's. Loved the ability to remove & use the truck. But, also loved the absence of hands-and-knees trailer leveling, too. Well done.

No way. Absolutely no way. The build quality of the rv industry is creating money pits. And laws to protect the consumer when it comes to the rv industry are pretty much non existent . 40 thousand dollars. You absolutely must be kidding!!!

Did the 15" tires fit on the stock rims?

A tour by a woman who has never been in a trailer before! Seriously? A way to make certain she doesn't bring up any of the myriad of things skipped over in this trailer with the hidden price tag. (Example: she's excited there is a hook on the inside the door--but they took out the window in trailer and camper doors for 75 years! And no mention of a screen door, or mosquito netting...) I loved these trailers in the British videos from years ago. I don't hate them--they are charming! If you can camp in your unconverted van or your car, or even a tent, this must feel like heaven. But why is a voice in my head telling me they think they can make a killing on the cuteness factor without bothering to include the new technology for us Americans with more money than sense? Solar charging? Inverter, solar panels? Storage for camping equipment (even 13-foot trailers from the 1950s had cabinets--space under the bed--accessible from the outside)? A/C, heater, TV, outdoor table?

Unlike most of the trailers out there, this actually has an exterior that isn't ugly.

Nice camper for the size. Checks all the boxes for my wife and I, but the lack of a 12volt vent fan kills it for boon docking.

Can you get solar and ac added? I’m looking for something that allows year round camping.

Make a tandem axle Scamp with a cassette toilet and I'm in.

I love the color on the bottom half, but it's a $3500 option. Lots of other nice options too, but everything seems so expensive. I guess I'm just old! I do like their website though, where you can spec everything out w/o actually purchasing--kind of like a car manufacturer's website. Suggest you try it out for fun.

It's not a hot water heater. It's a water heater. hot water does not need to be heated.

One of my favourite places to go for a swim on a hot summers day when I was living in Squamish. Their day use area is one of the quietest beaches in the sea to sky. Beautiful!

Why does the glass on the stovetop open to the right, you already have a wall there.

Gotta hand it to the Grand Design R&D (research and duplicate) department on this one. Gotta go with the Sol for the win. Money saved spent on solar and I would consider attempting to see if a larger fridge could be installed, even at the cost of the storage below the litte fridge.

In many reviews on the decathlon website, it is written that it breaks down very quickly, clicks, collapses due to the fault of the quick release button. Have you not experienced such a problem? The video is very helpful, thank you!

Better to purchase a use motorhome from Cruise America or Elmonte RV.

I had a Prolite trailer some years ago. Living in the high desert the shell had deamination. Value went way down in less than a year. Then it was stolen. I got more than it cost from insurance.

You showed us the phones charging, and the ceiling lights. You mentioned that you are at a no-electric campsite, so what are you using to turn those lights, and charge the phones ❓

At the same price I’d choose the Grand Design for the larger fridge, dry bath and larger dinette. But at $15K difference, InTech all the way, it is arguably the higher quality rv.

The only thing I don’t like is the toilet and sink and the stove to close to the sink.

Seems like the smaller the trailer the higher the price, too high for me, I like it though
