    I’ve known people who aren’t millionaires and have donated more money than 5,000 dollars.

    • @noobdudemandude1884
      @noobdudemandude1884 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I mean a good deed is a good deed. Don’t let anything else take away from that; remove all the bosses, cameras, people, motivations, and all you have left is a $5k donation. It’s still a plus

    • @KM-tk2ih
      @KM-tk2ih ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @noobdudemandude1884
      You miss the point that a good deed is done in secret with good intentions, not for attention. The donation is not a good deed. It’s a small donation not done for the right reason.

    • @noobdudemandude1884
      @noobdudemandude1884 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@KM-tk2ih ok, but it’s still 5k to a charity. It doesn’t matter if it’s for public brownie points. Hell, if more people donated for attention, that’s a whole lot more money for charities as a whole. Could she have donated more? Yea, and sadly she didn’t. However, there was still money put towards somewhere good

      If someone can listen to someone story and say thank you as a giant person to a simple person that should mean a lot more than money in this situation these Are the people that help everyday and make it easier for us all without people that work productively places couldn't run and many can't these days thanks to the new morals of the newer generations that expect everything to be handed down workplaces suck and many arent productive but the world aint handed to anyone

    It never ceases to amaze me. No matter what company we are talking about, none of the higher ups, the ones that more letters AFTER their name than they have IN their name, wouldn’t last A DAY working at ground zero.

    • @TheUnseenPath

      Kinda why people shouldn’t have executive jobs for a company if they didn’t start working for the company at ground zero. In other words, ALWAYS promote from within. NEVER hire from the outside.

    My neighbours lost their son on mother's day, killed by a drunk driver also being a ghost rider and no lights in the middle of the night.
    He owned a rifle and everyone had to stop him to prevent him from going to kill him at home since it was his second time.
    I would react the same.
    Sometimes the only justice is revenge, to avoid that monster would make more victims.

    No money for the guy, could have given a reward of some kind for helping to improve efficiency ($$$ or paid family trip to theme park or weekend break or something). But at the same time I don't these companies should just throw money at a sad story just to create good press for THEMSELVES. I do wonder if sometime these companies give large amounts of money etc - is it foe the person or is it to promote the company in a good light to generate revenue (maybe I'm being cynical, but large corps are only usually interested in one thing - PROFIT!!) - We all have sad stories and not many bosses even know about them - you just get on with life like the billions of others on the planet. But I think the guy deserved something.
