    That's wonderful! I live in a 4 generation household. I am the 2nd generation "Grandma " Mimi, and help take care of my special needs grandson. My daughter has Lupus.
    I understand how helpful this must be for this grandma 💜.
    My mom, Great grandma is wonderful and needs help too. It's things like this that give me hope and motivation to keep going. To know that good people are out there! I am not alone.
    What a wonderful world 🌎 we live in.

    This is awesome! They’re both sweethearts. I’m currently raising my grandson. I’ve been with him since day 1, & now he’s 2 1/2. His mom isn’t ready to be a parent, & sadly may never be ready. After raising 3 daughters, raising a boy is definitely different.

    My mom is doing the same for my daughter , she's 72 with two bad knees 😐. I had an accident and can't work. Unfortunately can't even get disability because of the higher demand because of the pandemic. It hurts me every time I see her struggle to get up the stairs after her 12 sometimes 18 shifts. My daughter would be the only to graduate college in the family.

  • @prodgers71

    I think it's awesome that a few select employees get help and recognition from their employers, it's just sad that the vast majority of companies see their employees as expendable and things to exploit and step on, and to put as much money as legally and illegally as possible in their own pockets while their employees suffer. But, that's how capitalism is meant to be. Capitalism allows and encourages businesses and corporations to make as much money as possible and give it to themselves and/or give it to their investors. No law states that businesses must take care of their employees beyond an hourly wage, but there is a law that states that corporations must do absolutely everything in their power to make profits for their investors. There should be a middle ground in the US where businesses are not only required to make profits for their investors but also be required to share profits with their employees. Right now, there are only 2 ways a society can handle businesses. The first is capitalism where investors are put first and foremost before anything else, and the second is socialism where the government owns every business and makes government officials rich, and then divides what's left between every other common person equally without regard to who works harder, tries harder, has more motivation...etc.

      I think they're told that it's for a documentary about the new person, so I feel like it's not unreasonable for them to assume that their own story might get cut out or might be a minor moment rather than a focal point for viewers.

    • @joselopez7973

      A man ought to pay for his own college education in my opinion. If your going to invest in your future you better have some skin in the game and something on the line. I guess next in like would be the mother , then the grandmother , then evidently the grandmothers boss. If you don’t value your education enough to pay for it then you shouldn’t have one . All info is online anyways . They’re doing that young man a disservice . He needs to evaluate his options. That’s no different than ordering the most expensive steak at the steakhouse cause grandmas paying not you and you don’t give a damn about grandma . Imagine letting your grandmother provide for you as a grown man. I guess that’s the way he was raised .

    • @bobufo5729
      @bobufo5729 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not speaking on the young man’s character. I just don’t think it’s right. I guess it’s up to the grandma if she wants to pay .
