    wow 10k for 4 kids to go to uni from Molson. I know Molson can't be so slow that they think that will dent the price for 4 kids to get into to Uni. Might cover half the tuition for one kid in canada, don't get me started on the states. This is all PR and I hate it.

      exactly, 10k is an insult they might as well pay him in Canadian Tire money.

    Creemore is only 40 minutes from here. Try some. Worth it. Back in the day. Say back when Toronto could win a Cup, Hockey Night in Canada was brought to you by Molson Export and some cigarettes. Later, Molson Golden.

      @@MsSgerg yeah if you're talkin about a university and not a college trade degree even then I thought about becoming a legal aid and looked into it and it only would have cost me 1/3 or half more then the degree I got which still would be shy a decent amount of 40000

    10k? Wtf is 10k to a company like Molson to donate to a guys kids for college? They should be embarrassed, 10k is barely a drop of beer in a keg.

    • @m1t2a1
      @m1t2a1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's not even enough beer money for one kid over four years. Imagine how much beer for a Master or PhD. Mind boggling.

      @@m1t2a1 no kidding, I found it insulting that a company that big would think 10k was a good donation. Now don't get me wrong 10k is better than nothing but FFS they could have helped out more than what they did. You made a great point, just imagine the amount of beer a kid buys during their time in college alone lol

      This is in Canada College isn't $40,000 a semester our government doesn't let our schools put young people into permanent debt traps unlike America's unless you're going to be a lawyer or a doctor a college course for a trade skill can be anywhere from five to Fifteen Grand also do you know what a education fund is the money gets invested and grows over time while his kids aren't old enough to go to college

      Had to of been that cus every boss can't be a boss without doing the job they are watching over. Unless they bought their way in and that shouldn't be allowed. Imo

      I disagree. Even attempting to retain her anonymity, she wouldn't jeopardize an entire batch of her company's product which is what nearly occurred. So while it absolutely makes them a better boss if they do, not every manager knows or is proficient in every part of day to day operations, especially on the corporate level of larger corporations. I'm a Girl Scout leader (volunteer for the past 27 years) & we have our local Council offices all over the country as well as our national headquarter staff in NYC, & because of a dictate about 15ish years ago, most of whom have never led a troop & honestly don't have a clue what it takes to do so. I can absolutely imagine that it is the very same scenario in business.

    The story line of Undercover Boss seems to be, "Go on TV, find a needy employee, give that employee stuff in order to look good." Why can't these business owners find people with needs in their company and do the right thing for those people, without waiting to be in front of a camera to do it?

      I don't want to seem ungrateful because that is a lovely & generous gift, but I was thinking the same thing. I have 4 kids here in the US (3 grads 👩‍🎓👩‍🎓👩‍🎓 & hopefully 1 more 👨‍🎓coming soon to a commencement near you 😁) & tbh $10,000. is not even enough for tuition alone for 1 kid for 1 year. Hopefully his kids are all still little & he & his wife have time to safely invest & add to those funds to help it to grow before tuition is needed.
