Thanks! I do have the Vendetta brackets now with the mutant metal knurled handles. I am going to do an updated setup video soon. You are right about them saving time. I absolutely love mine.
Thanks! I actually just made a new video showing my new setup that includes the Mutant Metal knurled handles. I like them a lot. Also got the Vendetta adapters for easier and faster setup.
I looked at Hammer strength equipment and placed the arms in a similar position as those machines. When the arms are straight up and down, I placed the spotters higher up and the weight further away. When the arms were set at an angle, I placed the spotters lower and the weight a little lower. I then played around and set them up to what felt best to me.
I can't decide if I want to get Lever Arms or dual side cables? Are you still happy with them? From your setup I guess you do back with body weight pullups and then lever arms for heavy rows? Does 90lbs on each side feel like you're lifting 180lb barbell over your head or 20-30% easier?
I am still happy with them. I added the Vendetta brackets so setup is a lot quicker. I found that I wasn't using them as much with the long setup times. With the Vendetta lever arm brackets, I use them all the time. I am making a video now of the updated setup. I have a DIY cable setup that I do pull-downs and I do a lot of weighted pull-ups as well.
If I'm doing unilateral work I won't use it but for bilateral, it just feels more solid to me. Without the pull up bar the arms have a little bit of a wiggle from side to side, but with the bar attached, that movement is eliminated.
@@Theking196 I would say it's more like a hammer strength machine. Putting 225 on the machine is going to be easier than 225 on say a bench press. It does feel like a constant weight though throughout the whole lift.
Are you referring to putting the weights on the spotter arms further up? If so, doing this will make the starting weight, when the lever arms are vertical, heavier. Without doing this while vertical, there will hardly be any resistance at the bottom of the movement.
Great video! You're my hero! BTW, do you use the spotter arms in some exercises to offset the weight and get more resistance in some parts of the exercise? I heard that if you only leave the weights on the same plane as the arms you don't get much resistance until around 45 degrees from the starting position.
Thank you. I do use the spotter arms to offset the weight. I also use the weight horns in the front and ad PVC pipe as spacers to offset the weight. I will have to make a video soon showing what I mean.
I will try it today and let you know. I built a foot plate a while ago where I can adjust the angle intended for back extensions. That would be beneficial for pendulum squats as well
@@eddierivera6896 Here is my attempt at a Pendulum squat setup. It actually worked pretty well. Having the rack bolted down with this or any other setup is a must though. Also Attaching the pull-up bar from the back makes it more stable. It moves a little when attached from the front. th-cam.com/users/shorts3ib62y8Xp5A
I actually had a Rogue 70" crossmember/pull-up bar. I cut the crossmember part in half to make the arms and used the leftover pull-up part for the handles.
I bought the rack and most the rack accessories from Rogue a few years ago. Its a Rogue Monster lite RML 390. Im not sure what I paid for all of it back then but I know prices have skyrocketed over the last couple of years and didn't pay close to what its selling for today. As for the lever arms (my current setup), I made them fairly cheap since I already had a lot of the pieces needed.
I had a Rogue Monster Lite 70" crossmember/pull-up bar In which I cut the square tubing in half to make the arms and cut the pull-up portion of the crossmember to use as handles.
I actually made the lever arms by cutting a Rogue Monster lite 70" crossmember in half. Since my spotter arms and lever arms are both Monster lite, everything lined up.
Good ideas, and great video, but it would be time consuming to change from one setup to another. The chinup bar helps in this respect but attaching/detaching the spotter arms still eats up time.
Thanks. I do agree that with this setup it did take a little time. I just got the Vendetta strength lever arm brackets, which makes setting up much easier and faster. They stay attached to the rack and can slide up and down. You can lock them out of the way and set them at any starting angle with just a pin.
Excellent! Thanks for making these detailed videos!
Thank you Craig! Cheers from Italy
If you don’t have the Vendetta Strength and Athletics brackets it would save you a LOT of time on your setup. Great video!

Amazing Idea✌️
awesome video
Thank you!
Excellent !!!! 🤝🏽🤝🏽🤝🏽🤝🏽🤝🏽🤝🏽🤝🏽 Hi what is the large of the level arms ??
Thanks! The length of the lever arms are around 34". I cut them from a 70" Rogue Monster lite rig crossmember.
@@homegymathletics4476 thanks !!!! Great idea !!! Will you make a video on leg exercises? Please !!!!
@@F7705-m5n I have a youtube short that a viewer requested for a pendulum squat. I will eventually add more.
you should be a link to each parts, Thanks for the ideas!!
Excellente compadre
nice setup. You should check out mutant metals for their knurling pin handle (for a better grip)

Is there a difference between the restistance curve when the spotters are further down on the arms?

Why the focus on locking arms together via the BOS adjustable pull up bar? Why not let the arms travel independently?

Does having those spotter arms with weigh pegs help with have constant load?
Yes. Especially if the lever arms are straight up and down.
@@homegymathletics4476 cool, does the weight feel like the actual weight, for instance 225 feels like 225.

Hey what rand are the black handles for some of the presses and pulls??
I actually had a Rogue 70" crossmember/pull-up bar. I cut the crossmember part in half to make the arms and used the leftover pull-up part for the handles.
How much did all that cost? The rack and the arms?

i find the trouble is as you get strong with the rows etc, you start dragging the bench along the floor whilst you're on it
I usually sit on a 100lbs sandbag to add height which also adds weight to the bench and prevents it from sliding.
Where did get the cft weight pegs

I have the same setup. But the rogue spotter arms doesn’t line up with Titan lever arms … how do you solve this problem ?
