    Dude, You have some serious skillz!! I've had my Skillz board for a while but just maxing out the small ball. I'm also a snowboarder and are 9 months post knee replacement. 3 yrs post the other side. I also have my indo board and VooDoo board. Your video on the varial was awesome. I might need to stop watching your channel for fear of getting hurt. I think you've inspired me to go to the big ball on the Skillz. Appreciate your videos.

      @@HoboDan hey I just got it today and I'm already riding at 9psi. I like your bowling ball idea! Did you pick a specific weight for any reason or just whatever was available?

    Yo it’s a miracle you haven’t put your head through that wall attempting that big spin. Lol very impressive. I’m too scared to even try it.

    • @HoboDan
      @HoboDan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha a miracle indeed. There’s always breaking down the movement into smaller movements to get a feel for it but yeah, at some point “you just gotta do it”

    Very cool stuff! I'm thinking about getting one of these too; is the grip hard on your bare feet? Im not sure if I should get the grip or smooth version. I will only be using it indoors without shoes

    • @HoboDan
      @HoboDan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah that’s awesome! The grip it’s bad on your bare feet, no. I’m going to make the pretty overly simple comparison to the grip feeling like walking on pavement and no grips like walking on a basketball court. You’re pretty secure either way with bare feet and with shoes on so the good news is you really can’t go wrong. Just user preference but if skill board themselves has a recommendation I’d go with that. Personally, I like the grips :)

    Good Job! What PSI do you use?

    • @HoboDan
      @HoboDan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For some of those tricks I use a bowling ball, but for the skill board ball I try and use 9 psi but I'm a little on the heavier side (225lbs/101kg) so it squishes a little more than it was otherwise.
      Some of the air sometimes escapes, too so that might make it easier, too

      @@HoboDanthis inspires me to try new tricks cus I'm 205 lbs and have been afraid of breaking the board from any jumping/hopping tricks

    • @HoboDan
      @HoboDan  ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean, it might always be a possibility to break a board but I haven't quite yet. I'm also on a quest to squat heavy on a balance to test the durability so stay tuned to see if I'll break the board or break myself.@@jessewilliams7153

    how long have you been riding the Skill Board? What PSI are you using in this video?

    • @HoboDan
      @HoboDan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My ball has been deflating a bit so probably something like 7 psi. I’m a little heavier than most so it might be easier. I also use a bowling ball for some tricks which I really like!

    Only someone who gas stood on one could appreciate how fricken difficult your tricks are. And the potential for injury. Makes me nervous just watching. Nice!

      Right? I'm just trying to get to 2 minutes at 3psi!
