I bought a used Reference 202/2c center channel and when it arrived the crossovers were damaged from shipping (they had come loose and rattled around inside) possibly because it was not in the original shipping materials. There were also scratches in the finish on the top of the unit. I sent it to KEF in New Jersey and they repaired it, polished the top, and returned it in brand new factory packaging. Sounds fantastic of course, and looks great too.
Even the experts in speaker making needs to listen to the actual product to see if it sounds correct or even good, yet some of the keyboard experts are able to tell if a product is good or not by simply looking at the graphs, brilliant.
I don’t think that’s accurate. They do simulations before physical prototypes but like the eu said in the video the simulations are not 100% accurate and listening is needed
This is great and all, never heard a kef I don't like, but... I'm confused because the new kefs say assembled/made in china but designed in their homeland, so why are they saying they make them and assemble them there?
This is what you get if you spend €10000 or more for a pair of Kef’s. Everything below 10K is made in China. Luckily the Chinese have some great production facilities also.
Made in china... Kupiłem kef q950 byłem bardzo rozczarowany wykonaniem, krawędzie poszpachlowane, poszarpane, pierścienie głośników odstawały... Oddałem je tego samego dnia... Teraz moje ucho i oko cieszą focal Aria 926.
@@tomekbeling922 Pewnie masz rację. Ale tak szczerze to spodziewałem się czegoś więcej tym bardziej że prędzej miałem budżetowe polskie kolumny i były wykonane bardzo poprawnie...

Thank you for keeping the music alive. Kef 🙏

What are you talking about? The video clearly shows the 'experts' are using graphs as well. They dont just use their ears.

Surprisingly small operation for such a popular international brand.
I love my KEF Q350's!
Does anybody recognise the 3D CAD they use?
I'd love to see a vid of my 40 year old Carina II speakers tested there just for a comparison to their products now.
It took you 6 months to edit this video?
This story are first presented in our magazine, and it was published now in our christmas edition. Thats why it has taken so long time
Not made in China ?
Reference and Blade series and of course development are done in the UK.

Kupiłeś tanioche od KEF i oczekiwałeś wykonania jak w wersji R?? Focal to chyba też nie ta sama półka cenowa żeby porównywać.
