You shoot a video about speakers and the sound is terrible. One lav mic on the guy talking and that's it. You need at least another omni mic on the camera and mix the 2 together in edit to be able to hear the others and general ambience.

I have an old pair of KEF bookshelf speakers I am using now but plan on replacing them at some point. I am considering some newer KEF, I really like a company that has complete control over their product, drivers, cabinet and electronics all in house. Focal is another that comes to mind.

They could make the reference on a production line and they would come out the same. The whole thing is marketing BS which I think they got from B&W with their diamond speakers. What I love how with the R11's the bass response is the same as the B&W 702's. For the size of the speaker 46 hzs is a joke, this is done as not to step on the toes of the of the reference speakers bass respeonse. Don't you people question anything. Back in the 80's you would get a better bass respeons from a smaller speaker. Hand made, signed by the builder, all marketing BS, who cares who put it together. But Kef are now owned by a big far east company who produce many brands of speakers who use marketing companies to produce the BS to push the price high and higher.

And with the bass response, mine go down to 28hz and they havent been without there room accoustic problems .
Kef have always been careful with regards to bass linearity Which is why they are Conservative with the low hz@michaeloconnor9465
