Excursion is not your friend. Do speakers move, or vibrate the air? The answer leads to lower distortion and better fidelity. You made a big mistake with your last speaker designer. Try finding an artist, physicist, , engineer and technician in one person, and you may see and hear it.

Love my R7s very well built speakers the sound is incredible. Replaced my Maggy 3.7i with these due to them being too big for my room. With the Kefs I could not be more pleased . Like the video 😀

I built myself a LeCleach horn-speaker a few years ago, a metre across, and a metre deep. It needed careful eq to bring out its innate qualities of quite incredible musical reproduction. Having lived with it, my only criticism is that I should have built it even bigger. Just a single driver in mono is all you need to fully enjoy the horn sound. Solo acoustic instruments such as trumpet or cello sound completely lifelike. I sit just one metre away from the mouth inside a holographic bubble of music. Like I said, the bigger the better.

Very nice, i have some 800 bought in the 80´s the MK I, still sounding perfect, bought some CDM 7 but it seems the tweeter allthough i barelly put them to work and put them in the box closed again now i put them to play again but almost no high´s come from the speakers more mid frequencies , those are perfectelly defined as the bass, the model is maybe the last one sold under this reference and not a special edition or nautilus version(at least ,i think it´s what NT means, when conecting them by mistake put a cassette playing after a record and the cartridge sound it´s very low and had a cassette recorded on a friends system filled with high´s when pressing play a high volume sound came out and with ears hurting high´s but now at regular levels the high´s aren´t heard, i reconected a old Pioneer A-91D from 1989, it as tone contrls and loudness, i only wonder how much it would cost today this amplifiers ,i´ve seen new ones with prices like almost 2.000€ with what used to cost 100€ new, by the parts assembled inside this to not talk about it´s box very shinny but will not resist 30 to 50 years but in 10 years those materials will look like trash, like it happened to a Rega cd player i bought in second half of the 90´s, the Planet, that it was fixed but it looks like it as been in all midle east wars, and sound wise was a litle worst than my at the time Pioneer cd player so, sand thrown at people´s eyes like today but still in the 90´s. The new turntables from REGA or PRO-JECT sold today ,if sold in the 90´s would cost 50€ at the most, as there were technics turntables being sold new for prices like 100€, and at least 1.000.000 times better in sound , building materials that today all specifications still are the same with more than 30 years of daily use and a new Pro-ject , just bought when measured is far from it´s especifications, just by having those cheap belts changed by hand, i have very dry hands but others i know are always with their hands a litle sweaty, so opnly the first time plyed it haas the correct speed and all are bits of recycled plastic nothing else, what i try to explain is that the 79 cheapest turntable with it´s original catridge from Pioneer today is a work of art by how trouble they had to assemble so many more heavier parts, there should be a oficial quality control so that people weren´t stolen everyday when thinkingbn they are going to spend good money on a turntable but in reality beneath before 2000 childerns record player from Chico for chuildren from 6 to 10 years old ,even those were better sounding than a today´s 2.000€ Pro-Ject turntable, and i used to critisize plastic turntable released in the 80´s but at least they sounded good , this new wave of cartridges and turntables is stealing from the people and youngsters think that we older people would listen to this new low level low-fi quality of sound in the 70´s while the records in reality sounded a lot better than a compact disc, this with not that expensive turntables, it´s like B&W speakers people complain about the woofer being not built in vinyl only they should worry if the speakers sounded bad wich is not the case, they sound amazing, this i think about those 600 and something, while the better speakers i own and people with taste for good sound also knew that all woofers were made of the same material not vinyl or kevlar, and it´s not cardbox material and makes sense as ut´s not a rigid material if a litle stretched will not brake, i have a much younger brother that when listening to my cheapest system in my home ofice he´s like if he had never listened to a sound so pervfect like he called it, only a pioneer sa-608 from 1978 with some 80´s mission speakers, the 761, 70 watts at 4 ohms he ain´t got 30 years while his uncles or cousins are 40 to 60 years old, he was born in a day that i was feeling old , had made a few monthes before 40 years old and girls were trying to make me feel better while drinking some wine, well i was still young then and living still like i was 20, that is gone, sorry about this coment so long

I have a PS4. PS amps and DACs are a personal favorite unless its later class D which I don't see myself ever getting serious with class D. Yes even the latest current stuff. I bow away from all class D unless its intended for sub/s.

Those emit style tweeters are unbelievable, probably the best I've ever heard, I had them in my car stereo, I had four Infiniti three-way 6X 9 speakers and they had the Emit K tweeters and it was otherworldly.

Man hører ikke på forsterkere altså, selv ikke på dette nivået. Når ampene koster så mye så låter de forskjellige kun grunnet design og farging av produsent. IKKE fordi en er bedre enn de andre. Det MÅ man bare forstå. Utover det - heftig anlegg😊
