I've had this card for a few days now, I see no need to fit the fourth fan as it seems to make no difference to temps.
Pricing is just getting better now. I purchased my current card, GTX 1660 Super, in October '19 when I saw the Nvidia 3000 launch fail and then, COV destroyed the market. The 1660 served me well but I expect I'll see a remarkable improvement with this one. Love the look and performance. Thanks for the great review!
I too quickly grabbed a 1660ti laptop. It's still doing great and when the market rates went down coz of crypto i bought 3060ti pre owned for 175$ only. Looking at at the 40 series cards i think everyone should skip this gen.

What a coincidence! I have just bought a couple of hours ago a KFA2 GeForce RTX 4080 SG 16GB GDDR6X DLSS3, that must be in Europe the trade mark corresponding to Galax in the USA. It is the first time since its launch that I see a RTX 4080 below 1300€, so I immediately bought it. Probably it has been due to the competition with AMD RX7900XTX. I have the same case NZXT H7 flow, but a 240mm NZXT X52 liquid cooler, instead your 320mm. I am extremely happy with this case and I think it also contributes to the low temperature of the graphics card (three 120mm front fans and one 140mm exhaust fan at the rear). My processor is AMD 7 5800x 3D. Thank you for showing me how to install the extra fan in the card as well as the support system. This support is much nicer than others offered by other manufacturers. Thank bro.
Hey I just ordered this card for the same CPU. May I ask you if your card came with the obelisk gpu support bar? Because I saw afterward on their site that this was a promotion for a particular batch and not a standard accessory... I live in EU also..

@@silverfox97480 I got it with the extras also. But as far as I know, does not come with them if you order now. At least the box in the store I got it, is smaller now.

@@silverfox97480 If you care about my feedback, I’ve been using this card for months now and I haven’t had any issues. It’s quiet and performs great. The KFA2 Xtreme Tuner does the job it’s supposed to do by overclocking the card (mine got +160Mhz GPU Clock and +1000Mhz memory Clock), but the fan curve configurations are a bit too basic. I didn’t try using Afterburner or Precision X1 as I tend to prefer the manufacturer’s tools for my GPUs. Sometimes the fans bug out a bit and ramp up at 30% without any reason at all when I’m idling watching TH-cam or Netflix, for example. The extra fan doesn’t provide that much in terms of cooling and adds up to the sound. Keep in mind that I live in a hot country (Greece), so I believe if this extra fan would make a difference, I would have noticed it by now. So, I recommend going for an MSI Suprim X (if the cost is about the same ATM ofc. In Greece Suprim X now is cheaper and has more stock) as it’s arguably a better performer and overclocker. I would stay away from Gigabyte and Asus due to the warranty issues that occurred for 4090s adapter cables burning down. Suprim X also comes with a support bar that it's not RGB though.

Side note, I may be an old guy at 55 years old, but maybe that's why I'm digging the dubstep of the tail end 🙂

So I came across this video by sheer fluke aka it was the first one in the list after I typed in the name of the card and the generation.
What I mean by coming across is by sheer fluke is I'm looking to do exactly what you just did, swapping out my 3080ti for a 4080 and this brand look promising but it was when I never heard of before.

Got the same card, but the middle fan makes a humming noise after it´s starts from the zero fan mode.
if i stop the fan by hand, the other 2 are dead silent. so i guess something is wrong with the fan

I have a 4090 galax sg, mine have coil whine but it is inaudible, you have to open the case and put the ear in to hear.

Very good, minimal coil whine and the fan noise is very good as the card stays cool just through the size of the cooler

@@jmangames5562it is fake, mine came with the rgb stand. This one dude didn't get his either because he was misinformed or by Galax's fault and now's blaming them as they were liars. Warranty should get him covered.
Mine did not come with a rgb stand but big whoop doesn’t effect performance and lmao my case so small I don’t think the rgb stand will fit
