I beg you put out a negotiating video. I’m no expert and it seems I’m always missing something when I compare deals people get to what I’m getting them too. Idk if it’s because I’m missing a trade in or that I’m not conveying how quickly I’ll move if we can get to my target number
@patricklong5170 always better to NOT have a vehicle thst you need to trade. I won't even put out a video on how I negotiate. But I do have a 4.5 hour course on it I sell. On my website tbwpodcast.com. but I'm not going my tactics to everyone other wise they won't work as well anymore. Thays why I don't even push hard or try ro sell many of the course
Do your homework ahead of time on DMV values, trade in prices and interest rates at your credit union or banks. Or if you are paying cash, don't tell them till you have your target price. Have your paperwork ready, prints out from other dealership prices and be willing to just walk away if your not getting the deal you want. Me and my Boyfriend has did it many times. The dealership will call you back if they want your business. Learn to negotiate like he is saying.
I think that those dealerships showing $5-7k are stacking rebates that are practically impossible to get all together. I've been looking for a Colorado or a Canyon and haven't been successful yet on getting $5-6 off msrp yet.
I'm from Miami originally. South Florida dealerships are the worst. I tried to do a deal with a south florida chevy dealership back in july, Auto Nation. They teased a price on their website. Auto nation supposed to be reputable, no haggle, right? Wrong. $4000 in add ons, won't take it off. Very high doc fee too. I was ready to drive down from GA to trade, visit my folks and drive home but no they took 3 days just to quote a price. They didn't know I wasn't local either. I was calling from a local phone number. There's so little competition in south florida, it's a horrendous place to try to work a deal and always was. Not that anywhere is great but down there they still up to the same back of tricks.
Yep many dealers like that. Part of negotiating a good deal is finding the dealers worth working with. Sounds like thst one would of been scratched off the list quick
@@Jason-Samko thanks for sharing that video. I agree. They are still producing 7000-8000 a month and only selling around 5000. 25s don't start production until 1/2/25. I expect to see broader downward movement in price around 12/15. Been seeing some outliers but it's just not sunk in with Ford that these need incentives to really sell. Best dealer markdowns is around $4-5k. Need $2k more to make it worth it.
Lifelong Chevy man . 81Z,86Z,95 Blazer n 3 Silverados later I'm done w them. My 2015 blew up at 70k! That afm/dod has been screwing ppl since its inception.
If you're selling it yourself, you must pay it off and wait for the clean title before you sell. The dealership does all this for you when you trade, making it far easier. Of course, they make it worth their time by giving you less for your trade in.
Very rarely. The only way to do good on a truck is to buy it new for less than what it's value is when you are done with it. If I buy a 65k and drive it for 3 years and 80k miles and can sell it for 53500 that gives me the numbers I need. So I make sure I can buy it for 53500 of lower. In that case I bought it for 51500. So I actually made 2 grand. Even if I would of traded it in and only got say 45. I paid 51500. 6500 bucks over 3 years to own a teuck is nothing. It's about 180 per month
@Jason-Samko duhh it's cheaper ...leave the raptor to the people that want a factory built off road truck ......not a ebay leveling kit government motors installed with a cool badge 😆
The problem is due your homework these new trucks are design not to run much past 60,000 to 65,000 miles and the dealers no this. try trading one in and you will see
Yes 100%. But you don't have to buy local. Actually I've never been able to get local dealers to give me the best deal. Even after I get the best deal from somewhere else and present it to my local dealers they have never been able to match it. Sometimes I have to drive 6 hours for a deal and sometimes the best way is jumping on a plane with a one way ticket, having the dealer send a porter to pick you up at the airport and driving your new truck home. But often the 100 dollar plane ticket and day on the road is worth the extra 4 or 5k off.
@benjaminyoung1746 my advise is wait a bit. The 4 runner value is strong but I believe as soon as the 25 4 runner comes out the 4 runner will go the same way the tundra and taxoma did. Meaning the price of your 4 runner will shoot up big time. Example. I have a 23 4 runner trd offroad that I paid 42 for new. It has 40k miles on it and right now I could sell it for 39ish. But I bet when the 25 shows up I can sell mine for 45-47k
@steelzmb4262 and yet i would buybone in heartbeat if Iwas ready to buy. One of the best trucks made today. You can say junk all day. I'd be smiling the whole time i owned it

But just because I won't teach it to people doesn't mean it doesn't work and plenty of videos out there to get you learning if you want to put in the time
