That was awesome. It was simple, straightforward and last but not least it worked.
Thank you
You are the one who normally explained how to prepare flash drive properly on windows before writing the image. Everyone talks: "You need to format your drive in Mac OS Extended format. For this use Disk utility (software that is pre-installed in Mac OS). But what to do if I don't have MacOS? This manual is first that explained this moment. Thanks a lot
Hi!
I chose MacOS Base System and it started loading, in about 30% in loading it stopped and it shows the apple support startup link with no error code showing, if possible, I'd like to get an advice, Core i7 10700K
Edit:
Also, I didn't understand completely if I'd be able to run directly on the usb drive or if it needs to be downloaded on a built in drive
i would like to thank u kindly for this video, unfortunately when i input the commands to download the recovery in CMD a window appears & disappears but no download happens, please help…
Incredible, this saved my day. Thank you sooo much!
I am running an amd ryzen9 5950x which isnt avaible in the preset list. I choose the "Desktop_11thGen_Rocket_Lake_iMacPro1,1.plist" for now but I cant get macOS to load on my amd chip or my laptop which uses an intel chip. The recovery option doesnt appear and when I load the macOS base system I get kicked out into windows
When I run macOS base system it loads the apple logo then it goes away and boots into windows? Any ideas?
hi, i have a macbook 6,1 late 2009. Which configuration templates i use? thanks!
I have tried this 4 times and everything all it does is boot to a blank screen.my mac was erased so I have no os. When I install and run everything in the video it never gives me an error, everything is smooth until I try to install the usb. It is just a black screen, any ideas?
Please assist, am getting a "Virtual disk error , the selected volume device is in use " in cmd
I keep getting "the recovery server could not be contacted" for my macbook pro 2011, I selected either Lion or High sierra with same results (I know this tutorial is for ventura but it's not compatible). I even changed the date and made sure the internet is connected. I'm stuck =/
@BarTechTV, Is there a auto driver getter for the hackintosh?
Great tuorial! I keep having a problem in the creation of the usb. When extracting Package, i get "Located BaseSystem.dmg...", "Extracting hfs..." and then "An error occurred extracting: 2". Happened with several usb sticks and memory cards (ranging from 32gb to 256gb). Any idea why this error?
OMG... Thank you so much. I will try this today!
how’s it going? :)
Can't Find Kext driver for my Ethernet ( Intel(R) Ethernet Controller (3) I225-V) or MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (RZ616) 160MHz Wireless LAN Card
hey i have an amd cpu and gpu how can i get the ocad file?
Thank you very much for guiding me on this ....
Great video! Thanks for posting! Any chance you could provide a similar recovery image address for El Capitan OS X 10.11? Or tell me where to find one? I tried the link on Apple support and it's no longer available from my maddeningly slow 2010 MacBook Pro.
this worked like a charm and im soo a novice !!! thought my mac was done..nope, u can buy a 1tb scandisk usb srive for 24 bucks at best buy..fits the entire os system..ty so much
No you can’t buy a a 1tb usb for that cheap. It’s a fake drive
It does't show the Recovery Option for me what did I do wrong?
No MacOS Recovery, just MacOS Base. If I select that, I just get the apple logo flash up then a black screen? Anyone any ideas?
Well, for some reason my mac is not recognising the UBS as a bootable device. I’m lost
Hey @BarTechTV I have found that if the recovery thing doesn't show up on pc, if you click on MacOS Base System it will launch!
Can, I mean with this, install Mac OS ventura on unsupported mac??
Wowsers, that was A LOT of steps, but I am so glad I came across this video because I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where my USB key wandered off to! I'm sure I'll find it now that I've completed this USB drive, but at least I'll have a backup!! Now to see if it works... EEK!
Nope. Stuck on a white screen. 🥺
Followed every steps and I do not have Recovery 13.x DMG in the mac boot menu
Thank you for your work. I use same Fujitsu P420. I will try. OpenCore Legacy Patcher isn’t mandatory to setup ? I haven’t macOS to create bootable usb key with OCLP. Just need to push it after installing macOS ? Do you have test Sonoma on this P420 ? Thx.
Yes I'm running Sonoma on this machine now. There's no need to use OCLP if you have a supported graphics card, but if you're intending to use the iGPU you'll need to use OCLP after installation to get graphics acceleration since the Intel HD 4000 series isn't supported.
@@BartechTV Thank you for your help. Your set of video helps me a lot.
When i put usb "recovery 13.x dmg" doesn't appear
me too
why is there no recovery 13.x dmg
item to boot from in the bootable menu?
Yeah, I have also the same question, please answer this if possible.
Doesn't Apple stop the OS from working on unofficial machines after updates? Plus is there a safe way to get older Mac OS? I found a website with them but am not sure if they are safe to use.
The only safe way to get macOS is to download it directly from Apple. They have direct download links for macOS Lion 10.7 through Sierra 10.12 on their website, and you can download High Sierra through Ventura from the Apple Content Delivery Network or by using the gibmacOS script.
I tried not booting.only logo appears
Hello, BarTech I got the same system just with an 4590 cpu tryed my best to match all the steps you’ve done in the tutorial and then tryed it again. I’m not getting the pc to launch the installation. When I hit the macOS recovery button apple logo appears and then the pc reboots directly. Any ideas? Thanks
Are those desktop EFIs usable on laptops? if not where can we get those?? thanks
no they are not usable on laptop
Hello,
I followe your guide with just downloading from macrecovery the sonoma variant,
I choosed on PI imac,19,2 and created the EFI.
Problem is that when i boot on the cd i dont see an option about recovery install just the baseimage option
Does it have to do with the image i downloaded from the script isnt correct?
Select macOS Basesystem DMG
Hello and thank you for your reply, after choosing base image the installation stuck on the code before the installation wizard,I am using iMac 19,1 as a template and I have a 7th gen Intel processor with Intel 630.
Do you think the problem is with the EFI?
I used a premade one as well as following your guide
I get a black screen after choosing baseimage
same on my side and I use 7th gen intel with intel 630@@spyrokatsiki4743
do you have the command prompt download line for monterey? as i have a 3rd gen intel CPU
"macrecovery.py -b Mac-FFE5EF870D7BA81A -m 00000000000000000 download"
thank you so much@@BartechTV
Hi! I have followed the steps from your video. When I choose MacOS Base System from boot menu, it enters in a loop saying USB Flash Drive - detected termination of interfaceNub. I want to install Ventura on a Sony Vaio with Intelcore i5-3210M CPU. DO you have any hints for me? Thanks in advance
You won't be able to install Ventura, because Ventura doesn't support the 3rd gen Intel iGPU.
I did it exactly but I do not see the "recovery dmg" option during boot? I only see Boot & macOS base system, Reset NVRAM. ??
Choose macOS base system
@@BartechTV thank you. I have figured out what I had to do to fix this.
At least with computer I am using which is Dell Optiplex 3050 Micro with Kaby Lake CPU. I had to uncheck 'Enable Legacy BIOS ROM' to make it boot.
As for the bootloader screen I have questioned on the comment, I now get the same boot options if I plug in the installer USB to a computer with hacktintosh already installed.
Thanks for the guide! Hope to see more great, easy to follow clear guides!
followed the steps serval times but of MACOS recovery option does not appear, if i select macOS Boot Option, I get the apple logo and then a reboot into windows... oh and now the machine gives a big beep when turning on..
I have the same issue, any fixes found?
i have a problem, tried to install this rn and the last part of selecting recovery didn't appear, and i still have the same setup
Same here
same here@@menitisunnah
will it work in old imac
Thank you sir.
Boot From " Recovery...
"Don't Show off, any idea?
Same does it js show u boot
hi, I'd like to know if i would be able to install this in a intel i5 4570s, btw it has a intel hd 4600 integrated graphics in it, and with 8gb of ddr3 ram
Exactly the same process as in this video. You'll just need to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher after installation, to get graphics acceleration working, since the HD 4600 isn't natively supported in Ventura.
@@BartechTV oh thank you sm
Did you get this to work? I have a 4570T I don't get recovery as an option when booting, I just see BOOT and macOS Base System and neither works. Just black screen.
@@geesharp6637 same here with my i3 4th gen - i just bought a cheap 4570 and 4590 and will see if I get the boot options as shown in the video.
Thankyou sir
Can I use this tutorial to install Ventura on a second SSD, on a Win 10 PC with i5-7500 with integrated graphics?... Then just select whether to boot into MacOS or Windows on the boot screen that's included in this install?
Yea you can.
@@BartechTV Great, thank you 👍
@@BartechTV I've created the boot drive (fantastic tutorial, so easy to follow!) but before I install I just wanted to check something, as I'm installing to a second SSD, will it give me the option of which SSD to install to? I don't want it to fire straight into overwriting my Windows C drive! 😬
@@andrewsenior679what happened?
how do you switch OS between mac and windows after installation
You select the OS you want to boot in the OpenCore boot menu.
Can you show us how to install this in macbook without a macOS?
Hi there, new subscriber here. I would like to know if I can use my old i3 4150 (Hashwell cpu) for this Hackintosh build? Thank you and more power to your channel.
You can but you'd have to spoof the HD 4400 iGPU device-id to HD 4600.
In Device Properties, under PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0), add AAPL,ig-platform-id with the value 0300220D and device-id with value 12040000. And then use OpenCore Legacy Patcher after installation to get graphics acceleration.
"No installed Python found!" when trying to download the dmg. I turned off aliases as well. Any idea why?
You got this resolved?
@@anshul24081993 i did not
Tried with i5 9600K but got stuck in black screen after selecting macOS base system🤔. Any ideas?
Which plist template did you use?
@@BartechTV Thank you for your quick response. I've used Desktop_08th-9thGen_Coffee_Lake_iMac19,2_.plist. In OCAT, i tried both iMac19,2 i5-8500 and 9900K under the SystemProductName field.
Thank you 👍
No opencore recovery on boot. Just Windows, BOOT and macOS Base System. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Same need help thank you
Same here
Anybody figure this out?
@@user-uo1gc2id7w nope the creator just hoarded views without helping his viewers what a guy
@@andrewooo86 Exactly what happened!
No recovery options in boot menu. Only boot, macOS base system and restet nvram. Where is the problem? SSD wich out partition create (FULL CLEAR). 3-gen intel z77
Ventura doesn't support 3rd gen. It requires AVX2 support, so only Haswell or newer.
@@BartechTV Hi! Nice video 👍 sry to bother you. I have the same problem. Trying to install on HP prodesk 400 g3 with i5-7500T. Thanks.
not working with i5-4590 neither...
@@BartechTV I'm having the same issue on a Dell 3040m i5 6500. I don't get a recovery option either.
I'm having the same problem..
Faced an error during bat on cmd...
HELLO EVERYONE I HAVE THE BMAX B6 PRO MINI PC 10TH GEN (ICE LAKE). WHICH EFI SHOULD I TRY?
The B6 Pro uses mobile hardware, so the EFI's linked from OCAT won't be suitable, as they're only for desktops.
The BMax B6 Pro is basically identical to a 2020 Intel MacBook Air - it has the exact same CPU and iGPU - so it should be easy to get working. I would suggest looking for an Ice Lake laptop EFI on Github to use as a starting point and just remove the things you don't need, like battery management, trackpad, keyboard backlight kexts and so on.
@@BartechTV thank you very much i ll try it the next week !!! Thank you very much!!
Could you do one for SONOMA? How much storage does it need for the Flash drive as well?
You can use a 4GB flash drive since it's an online installer.
@@BartechTV thanks. Will you be updating a guide for the Sonoma version? I'm trying to do a Hackintosh by following your guide. It will be really helpful 😁
Yes, my 13th gen Sonoma build video will be out in a few days, along with a new tutorial video for creating a bootable Sonoma installer in Windows.
@@BartechTV where can i find the installer? i tried downloading with the py script but didn't do anything. thannks in advance, and thanks for your videos
@@BartechTV forget my other comment, i will wait for the sonoma tutorial video. thanks dude
*This tutorial is a breathe of fresh air* in a world where YT has decided we no longer deserve the right to choose by hiding vídeo dislikes data. Thank you
@bartech hi there is no recovery have followed your instructions need help thank you
Have tried to redo all the process now i have 2 options USB only and UEFI USB when i chose usb i would enter a _ blinking only but when i choose UEFI USB i would be prompted by the boot selection without recovery
Should our hard disk be empty for recovery to appear?
@@andrewooo86 no i dont think so
i only have usb3.0 ports, is it still possible to install it?
Yes, just use a USB 2 flash drive in the USB 3 port.
@@BartechTV thank you so much! the problem I’m having is that it keeps rebooting after the apple logo appears, so I can never start the installation process. might have to do with the plist file, because I didn’t find a laptop tiger lake version. kinda need help
There's no support for the iGPU in Tiger lake CPU's. You can only run macOS without graphics acceleration, so performance would be very bad. You can try this EFI - github.com/deniro98/hackintosh-asus-zenbook-duo-ux482ea
It was a great tutorial. How can I get this to install on an AMD RYZEN CPU PC. Because the procedures explained are for an intel CPU.
If you could do a tutorial for that on what kexts to be used and where to download them. That would be great info.
Sadly I no longer have a Ryzen machine myself but a good source of information is the forum at forum.amd-osx.com
Is all the info needed, here?
please help, gibmacos isn't showing any drives and i can't find my hardware in the plist, my cpu code name is ice lake
Great video. Didn't work for me though it's a good start will keep at it
Although my problem was not solved, you are wonderful and your explanation is wonderful, man. I benefited a lot from your information, but I wished you would tell us that this does not suit MacBook Pro devices.Config Templates plist only for imac and mac :(
i want on arm cpu
can you remove it if i dont want it anymore
Yes just reformat it.
Still waiting for the video on ventura hackintosh for 13th gen CPUs
Me too, please
Yeah, me too ☺️
That would be great.
Bro please test apple motion in your i3 10th gen hackintosh
And give benchmark 😊
gibmacos Isn't working 😢
