I may have an unpopular opinion here but I think England got somewhat lucky with the ref this game.... Bellingham was on a yellow and did a clear dive in the penalty are...should have been his second yellow to me....unsportsmanlike conduct....all in all I feel like some England players go down super easy, maybe I am negatively biased towards England but it somehow sticks out to me these euros....(not all of them obv and most are professional fair sportsman) idk if its just me but Bellingham has changed since leaving for Real....suddenly he is diving from time to time, arguing with the ref whenever he can, classic Real tactics....tho i never noticed it while he was playing here in the bundesliga.....just me?
In almost all major tournaments. a second yellow red card is very rarely given. Aint no way anyone on any team in a Euro Knockout was going to get a red card for fucking diving. You would need to be diving every two seconds and even then, it probably wont happen.
The results were the expected ones, although Slovakia was unlucky, but that's football. The first goal of Spain reminded me the disallowed goal of the Netherlands against France, the player shot the ball and there was someone close to the keeper offside. In the case of Rodri's shot there was also a player offside. I think it's a duality of criteria. Thoughts?
One was the player being in the way of the keeper. This one was different in the sense that the keeper could think kane might touch and change the trajectory of the ball and therefore affected his decision making. I dont think either was offside (i mean here the keeper jumped immediately), but if the first one was an offside, then the second one should be as well.
ah yeah I think that's actually where I thought "huh" when watching the replay and wondered if VAR will take a look but then I looked at the keeper and there's no way the Spanish player was impacting the play. Netherlands call was harsh but it made sense, this one wouldn't have
Spain is the best team right now. The only hope my Germany has is if they play perfect, Kai has better finishes, and Spanish doesn't tighten up the back line. That Spanish goalie is really good!
all this talk of jude having bad game(while very justified) the goal null and void it for me. When it matters he made the touch count. Unfortunately though its not coming home, i back the swiss fr.
Spain today has not been very successful for the number of chances generated (Yamal has missed 2 easy goals), some players were slipping on the grass (Carvajal, Rodri), an own goal by Le Normand, etc. Playing with Morata is playing with 1 less. Unai Simon is not a world-class goalkeeper. But even so, the difference in technical quality is so evident that in the second half it was a storm. As Spain has an inspired day against Germany, hits the chances it creates and its players have a good feeling (and the coach appoints Dani Olmo to replace Morata), I'll bet money that Germany will suffer a scandalous rout in their own home .
I saw england play twice(both in schalke) and both games have been horrendous it honestly was not worth the money. The only bright side we’re the serbian fans
England played a cheap game, diving to the ground at the slightest contact, looking for fouls and relying on set pieces to create danger.. against Slovakia!!! Seeing Lobotka boss a midfield full of "premier league's best" really makes you think.. But on a positive note, as a Real Madrid fan, so happy to see Jude silence the doubters. Also Kobie Maino MUST start, what a talent
If Bellingham isn't moved to the 8 or Shaw is back, Southgate should at least put Saka at left back and start Palmer. Hopefully but unlikely. Agreed with Olmo possibly over Pedri. Also Hancko is a king for Slovakia. Feyenoord will cash in big as he can play both left as center back.
Bellingham is a player that you just have to have on the pitch in the last minutes because of how clutch he is. But he was terrible again today, either bench him or play him at 8. He creates nothing in the 10, would rather see Palmer or Foden there, as long as we get a runner at lw like Gordon

I don’t trust Spain’s center backs and goalkeeper. They press real high and I’m not sure they have the defenders for when better teams break through the counter press. Croatia had some good chances against them but couldn’t finish. As a neutral though I hope they can go all the way because they play some beautiful football.

I will write this comment under every football related video until it gets traction. Whoever thinks the same can just copy paste it under other football videos too. Have Germany played a strong side? I'm sick of this skepticism that only Spain gets. Matter of fact which favourite has played a strong side? Yet still always Spain getting the slack 😂
@@sergioturrado9941when someone doesnt want to give credit its because they have a bias for some reason . Any blind person knows that spain is the best team so far .
Who is that strong side you fantasize about?
Spain is the best team in this Euro, by far
@@sergioturrado9941Denmark? Switzerland? Both solid teams with the Swiss beating Italy easily gonna be a great match. hopefully very entertaining see Germany coming out strong in the end
Clicked this 21 seconds after it was up. Not sure i've ever been that early.
Is it just me who is confused as to why there were 6min of injury time?
I may have an unpopular opinion here but I think England got somewhat lucky with the ref this game.... Bellingham was on a yellow and did a clear dive in the penalty are...should have been his second yellow to me....unsportsmanlike conduct....all in all I feel like some England players go down super easy, maybe I am negatively biased towards England but it somehow sticks out to me these euros....(not all of them obv and most are professional fair sportsman)
idk if its just me but Bellingham has changed since leaving for Real....suddenly he is diving from time to time, arguing with the ref whenever he can, classic Real tactics....tho i never noticed it while he was playing here in the bundesliga.....just me?
In almost all major tournaments. a second yellow red card is very rarely given. Aint no way anyone on any team in a Euro Knockout was going to get a red card for fucking diving. You would need to be diving every two seconds and even then, it probably wont happen.
yes just u
Classic Real tactics my balls. Neymar, Suárez, Alves, they were the divers.
Proper pundit along side Carragher, send your CV to sky sports 😂
Anti England bias. Typical from a German.
Bellingoal‼️❤️ #halamadrid 😊
Spain and Germany look very good though France have yet to click and if they do it will be fun
The two best teams thus far meet in one of the quarter finals.
Thoughts?
no way, the player was in the opposite site... One next to the goalkeeper (holland) and the other one not
@@anthonypower262 I have to have a better look then. While watching it, it really looked like a similar situation
Sad day that England went through
Yea on the most undeserving way
Stay mad lol!!! 😂😂😂😂
What most of the people missed - Jude’s goal shouldn’t have stood, as Walker stepped over the line when taking a throw-in
Congrats to Spain and England!
I can see a 2-0 win for the swiss next round
i see a 2-2 with england winning on pens
credit to Georgia, they were so exciting to watch on the counter!
all this talk of jude having bad game(while very justified) the goal null and void it for me. When it matters he made the touch count. Unfortunately though its not coming home, i back the swiss fr.
Spanish team attack with 8 players.
2 center back are just at the mid field in case things go south.
England's manager, I mean 🤦🏻 8 years already and the counter attacks are awful. So many talented players wasted. Is the same as Gerald's England.
I saw england play twice(both in schalke) and both games have been horrendous it honestly was not worth the money. The only bright side we’re the serbian fans
If the 🇸🇰 player had scored from the halfway line it would have been over he just missed
Olmo is gold.
England fans after winning but it means another day of Southgate haram ball
England played a cheap game, diving to the ground at the slightest contact, looking for fouls and relying on set pieces to create danger.. against Slovakia!!!
Seeing Lobotka boss a midfield full of "premier league's best" really makes you think..
But on a positive note, as a Real Madrid fan, so happy to see Jude silence the doubters. Also Kobie Maino MUST start, what a talent
I’m embarrassed to be a English fan
If Bellingham isn't moved to the 8 or Shaw is back, Southgate should at least put Saka at left back and start Palmer. Hopefully but unlikely. Agreed with Olmo possibly over Pedri. Also Hancko is a king for Slovakia. Feyenoord will cash in big as he can play both left as center back.
Bellingham is a player that you just have to have on the pitch in the last minutes because of how clutch he is. But he was terrible again today, either bench him or play him at 8. He creates nothing in the 10, would rather see Palmer or Foden there, as long as we get a runner at lw like Gordon
who is Jude supposed to create for? Kane? whose busy playing deep. Bellingham has created more than the front 4
Jude is literally the only one progressing England past every stage
Pedri literally created the most chances this games and for Spain overall in the tournament lol I assure you he doesn't have to be warry of anything he's an undisputed starter 😂
That can’t be true. Pedri was either giving the ball away, or getting bodied off it. One of his worst performances so far this tournament.
@@Adtrevino37 Go check the stats I’m not making anything up 😂😂 Pedri final output is not great but acting like he’s bad is foolish. Not only is he their biggest chance creator but their best tempo controller
@@rere9991 I agree he is all of those things, and when he is on for Spain they are twice as dangerous. I was just pointing out for this match he was not nearly as a effective as he usually is.
@@Adtrevino37 He was the start of those 2 first goals so he is effective but not directly this time around. Hope we see more from him stepping it up but he’s still their best Cm when it comes to controlling a game
@@rere9991 He was not "the start" of those first two goals lol. He made basic passes any CM in the world could make to the players that were involved with the goal. I understand he is a fantastic, young, CM, but don't glaze him like he had a worldy against Georgia.
I don’t trust Spain’s center backs and goalkeeper. They press real high and I’m not sure they have the defenders for when better teams break through the counter press. Croatia had some good chances against them but couldn’t finish. As a neutral though I hope they can go all the way because they play some beautiful football.
6 mins extra would not have been given if it were not England losing 0-1.
England got through bc of 6 min of extra time while it should've been 4 at most
Spain is playing great football. They are enthusiastic and entertaining. Germany, on the other side, are chirurgical, mechanical and sharp. Germany will win.
spain light work
Bellingham hides his stinkers with these goals i hate him
Completely agree. Media will continue to glaze him for this one moment even though the rest of the game he was awful.
stones and Jude were their top performers, you're driven by agendas
Vamos Espanyol
S este chico que presenta no es hispano, entonces es que la Gran Bretaña está muy soleada últimamente
I will write this comment under every football related video until it gets traction. Whoever thinks the same can just copy paste it under other football videos too. VAR should be able to communicate with refs and punish dives with yellow cards even after the game has continued. I am so very sick of all these dives that get overlooked and left unpunished
The England performance was/is still an embarrassment.
WHO ELSE BUT BELLINGHAM!!?? 👍👏😵😵
The chance that Germany is winning against Spain is higher, than England wins against Switzerland.
Don't worry, we'll see how it is.😂
Why comperes England itself always to the main character, and/or talks itself to it?
Now i have a idea where the US-Mindset come from...
Switzerland is a very difficult team to beat. England will not beat them. They don`have very talented player but iits like playing with a stone in your eye.
4:45 🐐
Crynaldo is a joke of the Euros😂 How they keep that narcistic noob in team?
Spain still look super susceptible to a strong counter, Germany will be a big step up in quality
Germany won't be playing park the bus and counter in their own yard.
@@fishyfish6510 which is why they're getting smoked 3-0
It's better to be lucky than to be good, Southgate is proof.
Luck runs out and Southgate is proof😂. Next match he will need absolute black magic voodoo sorcery not just luck
@@fishyfish6510 They will struggle big time vs Switzerland, true.
incredible how this euros has been boring af

Spain defeat for Germany 0-1 or 0-2
I'm rooting for Germany but lets face it guys, they're gonna get burried by this Spanish team!
I'm hoping England beats Switzerland, and in the semi beats Spain!
Spain arnt scary.. Theyre entertaining. they seem to be the only team that are actually taking chances and trying to score... Everyone else is playing safe boring ass football... apart from Germany maybe. This tournament is weird. Football is just so sad now.
Come on, Spain played vs Georgia 😅
European football players must learn from Messi on how he analyse the game on the pitch during big or small matches.
sussy baka again
Unfortunately portugal suck...
