I'm fairly sure those axial and trench ball mounted batteries are Ion cannons, not turbolasers. But i haven't found official confirmation so it's likely up for interpretation.
Now if the Allegiance-Class had been introduced in Star Wars Rebels, I'm guessing it might've been done in two different ways. One: It's a new Imperial ship that was given to Thrawn by the Emperor to test it as a fear monger for the entire galaxy, showing the Imperial technological might to outlying systems. So Thrawn uses it as part of his invasion fleet of Atollon at the end of Season 3 to crush the Rebel threat in one fell swoop. Two: It was still in the late stages of fitting out over Oovo IV (It's first on-screen TV appearance since it was introduced in the Episode I Racer game from the N64) before it took off for it's shake-down cruise. Then Rebel intel learns of it & tasks the Ghost crew in destroying it. As a result, causing a prison break to occur across the whole complex.
Of what use are the 5,500 troopers? How would they be rapidly deployed? It looks to me like it would have to physically connect to an enemy ship for boarding, but I can’t see that happening.
Star Wars is an ancient past that happened many eons ago compared to our modern-day timeline of Billions of Years, that's why most of the design and architecture of their technology and ships are monolithic-brutalist. Just are their ships having very exposed bridged and shield emitters let's not forget the bulky reactor, coupled with the fact they lack redundancy with their systems that's why any critical hits on their ships send them exploding to oblivion. I just left to wonder if Star Wars was a Story of an ancient past of a Far faraway galaxy I wonder what kind of technology, design, and architecture the modern timeline of Star Wars Galaxy when the Narrator narrates the Story
SDhuttles it can't really carry enough of for the 70000 plus crew. Thats like using a station wagons worth of supplies to try to feed a large town.@@ImperialsExplained
So aim for the relatively undefended bulge? right got it. Lets just hope the enemy doesn't have lot of well trained fighter/bomber pilots to take advantage of this weakness.
@@ImperialsExplained Honestly if we are just going off the films shields don't seem to stop fighters (Though they are meant to) and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of anti star-fighter defenses facing the rear and underside of those capital ships. And whilst it seems a little hazy a volley or two from some Ion cannons and then pop that reactor with a proton torpedo or two.
@@markgrehan3726 I think you need to study a little more to understand this subject. I have previously covered a video on SD shields etc so that may well explain your point. Weapons and shield strengths vary and a vessel's shields were not always up due to the massive amount of energy required to power them. SDs didn't always have their shields raised. However, obviously, in combat situations shields were raised immediately but would not last for long under continued bombardment from a concentration of targeting etc
@@ImperialsExplained Tell that to Poe. In the Films Star Destroyers have been extremely easy to take out. I understand all that about shield strengths being different in combat and the types of shields but that's mostly out of film lore which makes things workable and cooler. Again in the films and books we see over and over Star Destroyers of various types get taken out fairly easily by what should be fairly weak opponents, so my point of say a bunch of Y-Wings taking out this Star Destroyer by coming up from beneath or behind where there doesn't seem to be any defenses and blasting that huge target of a reactor dome still holds true.
Probably my 2nd favorite battle cruiser in Thrawns revenge just behind the Praetor Carrier.
my fav imperial ship, always get them while i play empire at war

I think super heavy ions
Why not both?
@@huntclanhunt9697 I'm note sure you can have both in one mount

i like take 2
I love this ship
An astute analysis! I think the Empire possessed the sleekest and most iconic naval assets of any star wars faction.

Imperial allegiance class is by far my favorite
I would prefer this as my capital ship
This is one of my fav imp ships, looks so good
I would love a video on the Sorannan, it's my favorite
I'm willing wait, take your time of course 👍🏾
Thanks, my friend 👍
Ya, looking forward to it. With its shield and hull rating, what - is it made of beskar?? :)
Favorite Imperial ship right here.
Love the rendition of this beast of a ship in the Empire at war Remake mod. It fixed the one major flaw of the design by giving it a hangar bay!
Request a break down for procursator class star cruiser pls
Playing Thrawns Revenge rn, it took 40 Quasar light carriers and over 2,000 total fighters and bombers to take it down…
these are very similar to the new trilogy's xyston class (sans the planet murdering cannon).

How would you ferry Personnel and equipment to this vessel in bulk on deployment without a hanger bay? Going to be busy in the officer's hanger.
Star Wars logic. It’s very abnormal.
You can still get the cargo via the shuttle bay. Don't agree, l'm afraid.

Imperial ships, let’s go!
Fantastic video. Sorry took me so long to see it. Need to make more videos so you dont fall out of my top watched. :)
"Officer's Row" has become so gentrified now. It's lost all of it's charm.
姿勢
Tbh it seems more like a discount ressurgent which is actually more interesting than a upscaled star destroyer like the allegiance
Long live the empire!

You are forgetting their shields, but there is enough firepower to pick them off.

I seriously don’t understand why they didn’t use this ship in The rise of Skywalker?
Long life the empire.
If you want to play A's a allegiances star destroyer play Roblox project star dust
