No where to go with a 3v without blowing it up. Guess you've never heard of throwing coyote rods in one on a budget huh? It's like people don't realize aftermarket forged internals do exist and it doesn't cost THAT much all things considered compared to what everything else costs in the modding game.

It's just not worth going with a 3v, I just hit a wall with the aftermarket and if you really wanted to put some power down.
There is so many factors that can effect performance. A fbo Whipple 3v with cams and headers could be at 500 rwhp whereas one running lower boost no cams might only be just over 400 rwhp. There is a pretty wide discrepancy. The 6 speed coyotes 11-17 with the good gearing are every bit as fast as the 6r80s were mod for mod if you actually have a competent driver behind the wheel. Driver greatly effects performance of a stick shift car and itcan swing things alot one way or the other. @@christianreyes368 that’s exactly what I was going to reference aha. Plus from my own personal experience. People don’t realize how quick a 4.6 can get out of the hole. My build is very similar to yours except I have Detroit rocker cams. Getting ready to install a full whiteline suspension. Will be interesting to see how that translates on the road.
Are you making 361rwhp with or without your nitrous? Were you using your nitrous on those runs? Reason why I ask is because that Gen1 is making at least 412 hp / 390 tq stock without his intake/tune/exhaust while you've previously mentioned yours is making 361rwhp / 324 rwtq = (424 bhp / 381 tq) on a good day. He's about 3,580 lbs curb weight and you're about 3,483 lbs without driver. That's only about 100 lbs difference in weight. Based on the numbers, the fact that you're using 4.10 gears (more efficient from a dig and not top end) and that you two are only doing roll races and not from a dig, the numbers show that the Gen1 should be pulling a little on you at the end. Interesting results for sure and definitely entertaining to watch.
That’s without nitrous! I have yet to hit the dyno with nitrous. And the shop he mentioned (Kaizenspeed) now has a hub dyno, I put down 341whp and 300lbs of torque on that dyno vs the 361whp on the dyno they previously had. But yin and yang, all dynos read different. And with a full interior, and half tank of gas this car weighed in at 3420lbs on a scale without me in it. At the time of this race I have my Spaco seats in instead of the leather seats it was weighed with, which save me about 15lbs each with the brackets. Aside from that it’s basically full weight. Thank you so much for watching! Comments like these are the best.
@@christianreyes368 I hear ya on the factory seats weighing so much. I have the Suede Corbeau LG1 Racing Seats in mine because the factory ones just didn't provide enough lateral support. Since I don't plan on building the bottom end up on my due to the cost and I'm already max'd out on hp on my stock block, my only option is to save as much weight as possible. That's why I've also switched to BMR's tubular K-member, lower control arms, and radiator support.
