This is an excellent video. However, there is one essential piece of information missing: when installing iTunes on a Windows PC for the first time, it doesn't automatically load the Windows Explorer Music folder into the iTunes library. Therefore, after installing iTunes, one must first click on the File item in the menu bar and then click on Add Folder to Library. One then has to choose the Windows Explorer Music folder. Once chosen it will scan the folder and invite one to convert any non-Apple format files to AAC. You lost me there when you said I need to install iTunes. Using iTunes to do something as simple as this is like killing a fly with a jackhammer. Besides, Apple has already discontinued this abomination on the Mac in favor of integrating the interface with iOS into its Finder because its trying unify the codes for all of its OSes. Microsoft should release something of the same like a native program baked into Windows to handle such simple tasks for iOS and iPadOS like what it is doing with Windows Subsystem for Linux.

Brilliant. Easiest ay I have seen.
Thanks for helping with something that should be far simpler 🤘
On my screen it only says “Manually manage videos” not music and videos ):
Jorge Cisneros same here
What iPhone have you got
Brilliant tutorial! Nothing's forgotten, so that even a noob like can do it! Thanks a lot! Thumbs up!
FFS It's so easy to transfer with android!
READ THIS COMMENT!! START VIDEO AT 2:44 WHEN YOU ARE IN SUMMARY CLICK THE FINAL BOX (Manually Manage music and vides) Then click the music for your device and simply drag and drop the songs onto your iphone!! This Whole video could have been 30 seconds!!

Thank you! I have hundreds of Audio CDs I've collected over the years. Many of them I've already ripped to a folder on my computer. I just got my first mobile phone (iPhone XR) and I didn't want to have to re-rip all those CDs again to my phone. So, even though this video is 2 years old and I'm late to the "party", I wanted to let you know how helpful your video was. Cheers! 🍺 (I've currently been learning to use iCloud for documents. And now, you have set me on the path to learn more about iTunes and the Music App). 👍
Well that’s definitely illegal
@@fiveninegarage No, it is not illegal. I bought many audio CDs over the years. I have the right to rip them onto my computer for my personal use.
I’ve been clicking sync over and over for the last 30 minutes and there’s still no music on my phone
same... help

@@rishabhsinghchauhan9199 if you find any please let me know. Thanks
Love the video. Thanks. Why when I then click on my device in music it doesn’t show any songs. How do I get them on the actual phone not just in iTunes?
Oh how I hate iphone. Bring back Windows Phone. Had to switch to awful Iphone and it's not user friendly at all.
Should have bought Android
@@JustRobertCZE Yes...Google phone...where you're forced to buy a new phone every two years because they stop supporting your device.
Android sucks just as bad as iOS.
THANK YOU! Finally I found a way, I just can't thank you enough!
Please do a related video - the reverse of what you did, transfer from my iPhone to my computer. Thanks. Great video BTW

Thanks. I googled and many times I was told it could not be done. Yet here we are.
I gave you a 👍for the information. I’m a old guy with no computer skills living in a high tech world. You move pretty fast on your tutorial but I have a chance at getting it done now. Great audio by the way.
Finally, a video that makes sense. Success! Thank you!!
thank you very informative vedio now i know how to get music from pc to iphone
Hi there! This question goes to Kevin (btw, great tutorial) and/or to others who can kindly give the definite answer as well:
Is there still a need for an Apple Music subscription if I’m just gonna use the app for this specific function? (Like, only as an offline music player of synced pre-owned music from my PC and I won’t avail songs from iTunes/Apple Music itself)
Looking forward to some helpful insights. Thank you in advance!
Very helpful....and better than any other tutorial videos. Thanks!
