E3 2010 Ubisoft media briefing: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

- We were fortunate to attend E3 2010 and receive press passes to the Ubisoft media briefing, which took place at the Los Angeles Theatre in downtown LA.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was the second reveal of the show. Taking place in Rome, the center of power and corruption, during the Renaissance period in the early 1500's, there is an ongoing struggle between assassins and templars.
You will play as the protagonist from Assassin's Creed 2, Ezio, soon finding that extreme situations call for drastic measures (for example, using a cannon during a city siege). Gameplay diversity was stressed; the player will have several weapons, gadgets and machinery at their disposal, as well as horse riding and melee combat. Taking the offensive is extremely important in this game: striking fast and striking first will be the key.
You will also play a key role against other players from around the world with the addition of online multiplayer. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is set to release on November 16 2010.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a 2010 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the third major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and the second chapter in the "Ezio Trilogy", as a direct sequel to 2009's Assassin's Creed II.

@@arceptor Odyssey doesn't show the beginning of anything though, it ruined cannon and isn't even an Assassin's Creed game. So no.
@@vise_atoxity8083 Dude you don't have to play it if you don't like it. An assassin game isn't necessarily about climbing the buildings like a monkey and only using the hidden blade. An assasin can find more ways to kill someone. And honestly Origins and Odyssey are amazing, I enjoyed them more than any other AC game i've played

The cheers... I've rarely witnessed crowds cheering for a game reveal in a conference with that much passion... finally playing the series and being just finished AC Brotherhood, now i know why they went nuts after the cgi... This series might easily be the best ever series in video game history.
I hope you started from the first one, because from Asassins Creed 1 to Revelations the story is "combined" it makes all sense but the other Creed games are just good to play but with a low story it has nothing to do with the actual "Creed".
Yes i started from the first game and i fell in love with it right away. Especially first 3 games back to back was such an epic journey.

Remember when the E3 was a thing? And then the pandemic and developers killed it?
The ESA started killing E3 a few years before the pandemic. I had several conversations with exhibitors and devs about how it gradually got more and more expensive to secure a space on the showroom floor, then in the meeting rooms within the LACC, and more obstacles kept being created. Smaller companies stopped attending on-site and hosted their events at nearby venues (hotels, restaurants, their own offices) instead.
The ESA's treatment of media and exhibitors also declined as they moved away from the exclusive industry-only format. There was some serious uproar in one of the last ones we went to, because media and exhibitors, who had to be inside at the start of the show for scheduled meetings, were being told by ESA staff to "go wait in line with the rest of them" (pointing at the mass of regular attendees).
It's sad that E3 as we knew it came to an end, but they could have made an effort to keep attendee and press events co-existing in separate areas. The ESA chose not to.
