Sekiro is about surviving.
Both have great combat but I'll take the one where i find my self barely alive after an encounter in, any time, fun is subjective tho

Surprisingly polished for a trailer made nearly a year before release. Most things look to have stayed the same!
Henriko Magnifico The Japanese dev generally are very exact and particular about their vision and execution of a game. Once released very little needs to be changed. Very curious when you compare that to many major western studios that has Gigabytes of day one patches and continuous adjustments.

The majority of western developers have very right deadlines, often unrealistic, so they are usually forced to deliver unfinished games, which is why the day 1 patch has become pretty normal.

You can hide an unbelievable amount of stuff in a trailer. That probably included a lot of glitches, incomplete gameplay or even missing whole new mechanics

Saw this game and despite being a huge soulsborne fan I wasn't that hyped.
After playing I can safely say it might be one my favorite games ever. And I am afraid to go back to dark souls and not like it anymore...

@resistance1207 replayability in a 60 hour game doesn't matter. A game like bioshock has good "replayability." Also its completely subjective and has nothing to do with how good a game is ultimately.

Most of players are really bad. The first time I played Shekiro, I only had 4 Hits, and I died only 2 times in the whole game. Second time, I died 0 times. To easy for a guy like me, im so good, and also most of people are really bad.
@Sulyvanh Grand maitre haha I was joking man, im not so arrogant. I didnt play Shekiro, just bloodborne and dark souls 3. In dark souls 3, I died like 20 times against the twin princes
@Sulyvanh Grand maitre nameless king was so fucking hard, true! But I dont know why, I taked more time with twin princes. For me was the most difficult boss in the game, but I know is subjetive. I Didnt play the ringed city, maybe I should start.

@@DainHunter i mean sekiro is my favorite game too, but objectively elden ring is more polished and i can see it for what it is even tho i still like sekiro a lot more. just by elden ring being a better game means sekiro is no longer contender for game of the decade. tho im also not saying elden ring is the game of the decade, just using it as an example for what im trying to say :) both games are still masterpieces

I went into Sekiro expecting to play something like dark souls, but was surprised (in a positive way) how different the gameplay is, but at the same time it does carry on the same old feeling. The game makes it extremely satisfying when you do succeed in just about anything.
I love how all the prosthetic arm weapons, all the footages is all in the game.
Very well made trailer compared to those games that uses many editing instead of actual gameplay.
1:37 here i feel like they should have played the line where kuru says "take my blood and live again!" That would have been dope

The trailer didn’t do justice of what a masterpiece this game is. I was skeptical when I saw the trailer….and after playing this game and completing it 3 times, i will say that Sekiro is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played.
Without hyperbole, this game changed my life. I don't think I could have handled Covid quarantine without it.

It's astonishing how polished the game is as this trailer is exactly how the game is. Fast and brutal and then the game comes out in a year. From Software never fails to deliver awe.

Tried to play this game as I would have played Dark Souls, at first. Got my ass handed to me so much, it wasn't even funny, eventually uninstalled.
Came back, recently, learned how to deflect properly, beat the game, got all the 'chieves.
When the “From SOFTWARE” came up I was hoping for an reaction but then again It’s an Xbox crowd. Xbox is mainly known for FPS games.

really liked how they changed the combat system, Souls veterans thought this was gonna be a walk in Blighttown
I thought at first the only problem for this game is replayability but later on after dying so many times i swore to myself i'm gonna kill all those bosses like a bitch for as many times as my fury can reach
They be clapping but didn’t expect their cheeks to get clapped so many times in that game XD

I know that's not an excusing for reusing some content but some of From Software fans dissing Sekiro for this reason
