I wish they kept the recruitment thing from brotherhood, it was so badass. It made the assassins feel so much more powerful
after that there wasnt any other ac game in which protagonist was dedicated to the cause(except fryes). driving cause in 3 was vengeance, 4 was piracy and treasure, unity was love, fryes were dedicated to cause but they preffered recruiting to gang than assassins brotherhood and in other games protagonist isnt assassin(bayek becomes one in end, havent played valhalla)

My favorite game of the Ezio Saga. I still remember how epic this trailer was and Cesare is probably the best villain in the franchise.
He was pathetic towards the end tho, constantly running away from Ezio.

When it was realeased this short was dope.
11 years later it is "just" amazing animation. it aged pretty well.
I think it has held up just as well. But you can tell a whole division at Ubisoft was dedicated at making this trailer taking the engine to its maximum capabilities. There was no way that was going to be rendered on the PS3. The quality of this was then regularly used as cutscenes in AC Unity which is extremely impressive considering how cutscenes in game are rendered by the console in real time as opposed to this which is done in studio.

I remember when this game came out. I was in the 8th grade and I had a school yard girlfriend I “broke up” with to play this all weekend. Good old times to think about in 2021. I beat the game that weekend too lol

Brotherhood is unfortunatly an Ubi$oft type of titile. They made the original creator quit because they wanted to make a yearly release of the franchise right after AC2.

Brotherhood story was supposed to be part of AC 2. But as they wanted to release AC 2 quickly they cut this part and sold it as a full price game.
AC Brotherhood was the start of releasing an AC per year without taking the time to improve the licence properly.

Because we og fans are the vocal minority. The RPG AC look alike are selling good and I doubt we'll experience what we did back in Ac 2 , brotherhood etc

I think it was good that they changed up the formula.
Sure, it's unrecognisable now, but imagine if all titles were like the first few. It would get stale. Eventually, we might not even want to go back to the older games, since we've had so much of the same stuff anyway.
When someone asks you how to be a badass and epic , just show them this awesome trailer.... My fav ac game... What a masterpiece... What an amazing franchise....

But still l think that all ac are awesome and special in their own way . But the best one is China lol jk . My favorite ac is brotherhood and second is black flag.

Games that focuses on singleplayer, that has a good story, good gameplay, no gambling, and no sjw trash. They are extremely rare in 2020 but in 2010 they were common.

You must wait a few seconds in the "press any button to continue" menu in order for the cinematic trailer to trigger in game

Chain kills were boring at the same time, the combat was easy and boring and I don't think you want ac to be the new "gta 5" if you know what I mean, I don't like odyssey and valhalla but they're still ac

Back when assassin’s creed was regarded for it’s amazing storytelling and fun gameplay. Today we have random generic McBadass viking boy/girl killing english people. Bruh, the templars don’t even exist in the games anymore, let that sink in.

i was six years old when this game came out! my dad bought it and he would let me run around and play it. i wouldnt do any of the missions (i didn't really know there were any) i would just run around and annoy civilians. now, my dad stopped playing assassins creed games because he says "they're my thing". assassins creed on the ps3 was what really made me love videogames, even 10 years later lol

Literally, everything post-AC III could be taken out and it would not negatively effect the original story as told through Assassin’s Creeds I - III. After all, AC was supposed to end at III, as was articulated by the people who made Assassin’s Creed.

Black Flag is a pirate game, not an Assassin’s Creed game. It doesn’t even try to be consistent with the previous mainline entries.
