(Almost a) REVIEW of Legendary AGV X3000 Helmet

- Started a review of my daily driver (rider?) motorcycle helmet the AGV X3000. Continued running into trouble while trying to make this video. Some lessons learned.

Price: $300 - $380
Style: Slim, minimal, vintage, slight chin cut (for Agostini to hug the tank)
Visor: Secure lock, allen key removable
Fogabilty: A little bit
Ventilation: Removable rubber slot, air across scull
Sticker: Nonremoveable, :(
Padding: Feels lovely
Buckle: AGV style, nice
Recommend? - Yes (I have two!!)

Just got mine today in XL size. Always get white as I think it’s more visible and gloss black was impossible to find in stock in the UK. Fits great and really comfortable. Love the clean look and can’t wait to try it out on the road.

What size is yours? Is I need an XL, and it pissed me off that all XL shells are flipping huge.
About to pick up my '18 XSR700 from the dealer - love the bike and looking to do a similar build with mine! Please do future videos on your mods - would be very interested in your thoughts on the SC exhaust, speedo relocation, headlight options, and your tech upgrades (Quadlock, etc). Thanks!

I just got one of these in a MS size. When on I am finding it very comfortable, but getting the helmet off is really hurting my ears, do you have the same problem? (Trying to take it off with headphones is practically impossible, without ripping my ears off)
I don’t have that issue. Although I rarely ride with headphones. Maybe is a unique head vs foam thing? Not sure. Many love the fit of the Bullitt but some reason it isn’t for me

@@danielascudamore9948 Thank mate for this information. I have the same issue. I Just bout the MS. Once it on it's tight but not disturbing. But when I take it off my ears seem to go with it

It's the clear winner in retro lids as far as i can tell! :)
Really like the look of that white one. I could see getting that with a yellow or orange visor if I was confident about whether this helmet was quiet, the visor had a 1/4" detent to leave it just barely cracked during warmer and hot months and there was no fogging issues.
Love the white.

Cappuccino Moto well your shots are gorgeous ha I have a triumph street Triple R matte black and will now be buying that helmet. Want them pants too but a bit pricey haha but I’m willing to do it for the aesthetic
Brandon Faust the Uglybros are pretty $$$ but they are Kevlar lined. Which in my mind helps with the wallet hit haha

Great content mate! Btw is your black visor the one named ”tinted?” I ask this because the tinted visor on AGV website looks a lot lighter dark than the one you have.
I just got this helmet with the smoked visor because of this. Haha I found it on Instagram and fell in love with it.

Does smoke lens too dark for night rides?
I dont ride at night too much, and we have lights on the roads which helps in the city. That said, i wouldnt recommend it.

No comm. The Microphone is by Deity. Just installed a lav mic into the helmet :)
