I used to have an original AGV like that in the early 1980’s, would love a Barry Sheene replica though.
The dealership i got it form had Barry Sheene one. I was in there a few weeks ago and it was still there

i have been considering the AGV..and the actual over all size seems more compatible for smaller people as well.

It does fit well. Like most of these things the best thing is try it. After I got the AGV the Shoei Glamster was reduced, I had tried it on a few weeks earlier and it felt super comfortable but at time of buying was too expensive
AGV discontinued the X3000, I have 2 and regard them as the best value retro helmet

Heya mate, thanks for the review. I have both the agv and the bell and I completely agree. I would also say that in my opinion the agv is much warmer on the colder days as you can't shut off the vents on the bell.
That is true. I’ve been wearing it in the cold snap and it’s good. You get a slight chill on your chin but in general all good. Great helmet
@Pint Sized Biker Haha, your right about a chilly chin 😅. I brought a warm neck tube and it worked a treat.
I wore the bell out for the first time in a while last week on a sunny day. It was cold and dark when I came home and my head was frozen solid 🥶😂.
@pintsizedbiker Sorry if it did not come across very nicely but, next time, tell the camera guy not to stand between you and the sun.
Just got mine today in XL size. Always get white as I think it’s more visible and gloss black was impossible to find in stock in the UK. Fits great and really comfortable. Love the clean look and can’t wait to try it out on the road.
Have you managed to try it out yet?

I can’t find a xl in that Agv colour anywhere in the world …sucks that they discontinued
As much as it is a ball ache ask dealers that stock AGV. That is how I got mine as everywhere set out of stock. Last time I was in the Newbury Kawasaki I am sure they had one but not sure on size.
I had the AGV helmet for a couple of years, I probably wore it 40 times max. Taking it off one day the whole thing cracked (where the visor hinges), hairline crack that ran two thirds of the way around the helmet! Nothing special, handled it like I always had, not overly rough or anything. It looks very stylish but mine was absolutely crap for durability. Never again will I buy AGV.

Haha sadly not! I did try one on and it felt perfect, I notice right now there is some good deals on them right now.

What size head are you mate? I'm 58 and thinking the M/L might be the right way to go for the x3000, rather than L. Also, I reckon that's the best colour scheme - sadly not available in a size for me.
I would say that would be the right size if you are in the UK give Newbury Kawasaki a shout as they had sizes that I couldn’t find online.
