- The AGV X3000 is a replica of the original helmet worn by Agostini on his way to World Championship victory, recreated using a quality composite fibreglass shell and modern materials. In stock and available from late March 2018 at Urban Rider:

The price starts from £299 in the plain colours, with a wide range of options available. The helmet benefits from being lightweight and compact and retaining many of the original features such as the cut away chin bar, enabling the rider to crouch lower down onto the tank in the aero position.
The integrated cooling system runs through the EPS liner of the shell via an opening in the main visor, avoiding the need for ugly vent intakes on the main body of the shell.

Nice job, guys. Not a single one of the other reviewers I've wathced knew there was a pocket in the helmet for the vent plug.

Definitely over selling this helmet. It barely scrapes by DOT, it's super loud, the vents don't do much, and it feels like something I wouldn't want to crash in. With that being said, this is my favorite helmet I've ever owned.
Just got mine today in XL size. Always get white as I think it’s more visible and gloss black was impossible to find in stock in the UK. Fits great and really comfortable. Love the clean look and can’t wait to try it out on the road.

Just got one after going back and forth between sizes. They are lovely for a retro helmet, with just enough luxury and modern comfort. Definitely will be breezy etc so a summer lid for shorter trips I'd say.
Sizing is really odd though. I am normally a size large in everything. But I ordered an xl as people said size up.... and it was HUGE.... Then found a clearence ML locally and for some reason the size ML is what fitted! This goes against what everyone else says online that you should size up and even doesn't correspond to my head size and the size in cm for the ML. Anyway, point being make sure you can try one on!
Found a lovely gloss grey and black, and although not from urban rider I wouldn't hesitate to order from them, they are great.

what is the difference between the super and the standard model?
Super denotes the graphic colours in the range, that's the only difference.

You're going to be on the cusp of S and MS - if you can try it on, that would be beneficial!

Great review! You say 3 shell sizes.... Would you know how the shell sizes are broken down? As in--how the sizes are separated into 3?

Initially we'd heard end of March but latest intel is early May for the 1st drop. I've seen some retailers saying 1st March but that's them trying to lure you in. We're in constant discussion with AGV and 1st of March was never on the cards. Cheers. Andy
I bought one but the bottom of my chin slightly peaks out of the bottom exactly like yours did. Is this a safety issue or is this by design in keeping with being period correct?
The intention is so you can get your chin down as low as possible to the tank, but it shouldn't really stick out too much - have you ensured that the helmet is tilted forward on your head enough?

How does this compare to the bell bullit for airflow?
It's very similar. With the visor vent open it creates a lot more airflow but closed they are about the same.
Good review thanks. Got a great deal on mine $265 from AGV direct. They were being sold as Closeouts. Good comfort, style, fit. Not so good on safety rating and fact its made in China. Likely under license not in Company plant so technically not a knockoff but basically is.
