Why Almonds are So Good for Your Health

  • Both a 20th century psychic, Edgar Cayce, and the ancient doctors of India recommended eating a handful of almonds every day and that they were especially good for preventing cancer.
Modern research has validated these statements proving the efficacy of almonds in their capability of preventing cancer. They also have other health benefits which are also outlined in this video.
But Ayurveda took it one step further and recommended soaking the almonds overnight in spring water and then peeling the skin before eating. Now modern medicine has also proven why this was recommended as well.
Along with a healthy diet, exercise, sunshine, proper daily routine and detoxification the best way to cure cancer is to prevent it in the first place. Let the regular consumption of almonds be another tool for you to use to prevent these serious cancers from occurring.

I understand that most almonds in the U.S. come from California where they are irradiated, I tried to sprout some of them without success.

Almonds are VERY high in OXALATES. Oxalate researcfher Sally K. Norton features almonds as one of the TOXIC SUPERFOODS, which is the title of her recent book.

And why I only eat roasted almonds. Roasting removes up to 93% of the oxalates.

No it doesnt. Its still in there.
We need a bacteria called oxalobacter formigens to deal with oxalates.
After one round of antibiotics is gone from your intestines.
Maybe a probiotic comes to the market one day hopefully😊@@Patrick_Ross

Moderation is key. Eating several almonds a day is fine. I also like tahin, sesame seed paste. A few teaspoons a day. Read the health benefits on that. And yes, it's even higher in oxalate. But the health benefits 👌.

@@beavischrist5 True, and the presence of that microbiotic may be the reason why Himalayans can eat spinach every day. Until that bacterium is available for purchase, you can increase your consumption of lactobacillus and bifidus, especially the latter, since they also consume oxalates.
