      Dude, I'm not even kidding... it's a good setup. When I threw a kit on the front of my Tahoe, it transformed that rig into legit modern braking. Can honestly recommend 👍

      I had to get new front pads and rotors. I should have got power stop parts from amazon..I paid way more for OEM.

    When pushing the cyl's back in the calipers, it's better to push the old fluid out the bleed screw than push potentially contaminated fluid back up through the ABS/Traction Control system.

    Did you put the rear rotors on backwards? By backwards I mean right on left and left on right? The fronts are correct but the quick video changes I couldn't tell if you had the direction correct on the rear.

    • @AutoEdits

      Excellent spot. The rear rotors are identical so on one the slots face forward and the other rearward. I put them on according to the location stickers but either it was an error in packaging or just not a big deal to run one "backward". It doesn't seem to effect performance or make strange sounds so we'll see.

    Great video. What do you think about all the rage we see on the Internet on those air suspensions?

    • @AutoEdits

      Hey thanks for the question! I have been extremely happy with the air suspension on this thing so far as a city/highway vehicle. Shocked actually by how good it performs. It will be interesting to start going off road with it and see how it does. But I can say from a bit of an old school perspective of not liking air ride... this thing absolutely rules as is!

    • @Maxime-ho9iv

      @@AutoEdits That’s interesting. I see a lot of comments saying they are very comfortable and in the same time a lot of people saying they are not « real » suspensions. That’s even better if you will do a bit of offroad with the Range Rover! I’m very curious about you thoughts on this.
      That may be the subject of a video? :)

    The problem I have is trying to find a stretch of road to bed the pads in properly. There's just too many damn people moving to DFW and the roads are almost never free of traffic. There's always some random asshead or commerical vehicle that wilk f*ck it up for you lol.

    Do you have to do the stop and start breaking in period right away? I installed powerstop on my jku and haven't taken it for a ride as i have no where safe to easily do it since I live in the city. Can I drive like that for couple of miles first and where safely perform the breaking in?

    • @AutoEdits

      I explain in this video… you can drive someplace safe.

    • @Oz1111

      @@AutoEdits It was tough but I think I broke them in. I also did a brake flush thanks to you. Honestly, I'd not dare doing any of this without your videos, I really appreciate your videos. They get me excited to drive my jeep and try to fix/install stuff.
      Having said that, my brakes feel soft now. They go all the way to the floor, and it didn't before. They still stop but feels weird that they are not as stiff as before. What could I have done wrong?

    • @AutoEdits

      Unfortunately, what you are describing is a little air bubble in the system somewhere. The system needs to be bled again and there is a tricky bit if the bubble is in the ABS metering block. The two ways to address this is to get a tuner that has a feature that lets you manually activate the ABS pump to help purge air out of it and then you can bleed the brakes again but if you don't have that tuner tool... An improvised way to accomplish this is to find a dirt road or remote stretch of road and make a few quick braking passes that engage the anti-lock brakes system (you'll know when you press the brake pedal hard enough and feel the pulsing under your foot) Then go back home and do a good system bleed again. That should get your pedal back solid for you. Going to the floor is not good.

    • @Oz1111

      @@AutoEdits surprised because I went thru 5 bottles and barely any bubbles came out. After doing the brake-in instructions, I did couple of fast hard stops to check, the brakes, the Pedal went to the floor and abs didn't engage. I'll do another bottle to see if there is still any air. Appreciate your response.
