- Today the M4 Gets front mount intakes! The car could use more direct cold air and larger mass intakes for the coolest air possible. The car even makes some loud turbo noises after the install (review). Enjoy! Like and Subscribe! Hit the Bell to stay up to date with our content! I’ll start trying to upload twice a week!

good video bro!
one thing I do not think the wrap would do any extra job since its water to air, your IAT would depend more on the performance of your heat exchanger and top mount. wrap would probably show some improvements on an air to air application.
@@RummnigeBaron yeah makes sense! I changed the heat exchanger and charge cooler before I sold the car and got the 997. I figured any extra cooling I could get I’ll take it and let’s face it the gold looked cooler 🤣
Yo man, first video I’ve seen of yours! I hope to get an F82 m4 next year! I’m currently driving a 320d 🤣👌🏼. Nice to see another TH-camr like myself making install videos! You’ve gained a sub mate. Respect from the UK 🙏🏼 🇬🇧
Respect! Can’t wait to see it when you get it follow me on ig!!
@@NLG001 No doubt Fam
Thanks for making this video
Can’t wait to get my car
thank you for watching !
Had the same problem with my VRSF Front Air Intake as well. Only the passenger side only. I even commented to the owners to have this redone or have them look into this.
Make sure to check for clearance to your coolant hose
Mine rubbed and caused a coolant leak
@@NLG001 Yes, I redid the coolant line out of the way and also added the Mishimoto Oil Catch Can. Well worth it btw.
@@NLG001 Let me ask you another question. I know you've done quite a bit to your M. Have you done the downpipes yet? I ask b/c I have the VRSF catless downpipes and I'm concerned with the check engine light that many say will pop on for sure. I have the VF Engineering Stage 1 ECU Flash but do you think after I install the downpipes and get a re-flash to Stage 2 that it will go away?
@@mmlehman11 yeah I think it will the tune will account for the castles down pipe and should clear codes for things like that ecutek definitely did for me and I have catless downpipes, I am trying to pass inspection now and figuring it out
Thanks Bruh, I just cop'd an M4 and some DCIs
Hi! Installed my front mounted air intakes yesterday and now it is worried when cruising at certain speeds and there is a little more hill on the road so the engine has to work a little more. Then it becomes like small jerks that are only felt without being seen on the tachometer. I have stage2 bm3, do you have the same problem or do you have custom map?
@@williamfmedia3706 I didn’t have this problem. I had a custom tune. I would check to make sure everything is installed properly, clean the MAF and make sure all your intake piping is secure. Also do a little data logging and see if you notice any odd data.
Hi, you are doing well. 👍
Patience O Joseph thanks
Yo can I get your exhaust setup it sounds amazing
From this video it was literally just Rk tunes downpipes, the intakes add some sound too
Did this give you any engine light? Mine is giving me a engine light. Do you know what it might be I cleaned my maf sensor too thinking it could be that
Harry Singh I had a check engine before this but idt intakes would give a code if it does, read it and clear it, a tune will def clear any codes
No Lift Garage yeah it is very strange it’s a code for air fuel mixture is lean/rich. My service is coming up and I wanted to fix it before
Harry Singh could be that the maf is reading more air flow the stock boxes are effective but a little more restrictive id say get tuned when you can to clear the code and look into whether or not changing the maf would clear it
sounds like it might be a dirty maf, clean both of them off with maf sensor spray and see.
Hi bro nice one, Can you hear loud turbo whistle after 2000rpm ?
More just induction sound
Very nice :)
How are you liking them? How’s it driving in the rain?
hi, they work perfectly fine, aside from the non symmetrical look behind the grill (me being picky) and the actual bung being too close to the coolant hose(as I said in the video) they work perfect, gives me great sound out of the car and for a good price
No Lift Garage thanks man keep the videos coming
@@NLG001 is it risky having it right in front of the grille ?
@@marcozuniga1186 not at all brother never had an issue
do you know if there is any hydrolock risk ? contemplating on getting this
Noh hydro lock brother
What did you use for the heat wrap?
I used Design Engineering Reflective Heat tape! Here's an amazon link!

At the time of this vid, any exhaust mods ?
Just downpipes
@@NLG001 have you done a tune yet ?
@@seandingle58 yes there a dyno tune video on the channel brother
What lower springs do you have?
Kw height adjustable suspension

Heat up the plastic with a heat gun next time you’re trying to cut it 😁
Smart
@@NLG001 Hey I don’t think your discount code is valid on Horizon either. I’ve tried it on multiple products and it still says it’s not valid.
@@teriyakiboi it might have been taken off a while back I’m sorry about that
Sounds good ! Check out my videos also have a M4 that I’m working on.
they look good, keep at it brother!
stop shaking your camera
Will try to get better at that
