3rd- i would like to endorse your statement , people in your religion are generally poor especially in Indian-subcontinent & other parts of the world too( except the Arabs of gulf countries cuz they have oil 🛢, just oil (not talent, skill or intelligence). And I agree with the reason you implied " Education " . Those nations who had/have low literacy rate are generally prone to have more fertility rate than other developed/Educated nations. Best example is African nations like Nigeria, somalia etc. Even India 🇮🇳 & China 🇨🇳 have Huge population cuz of that reason " Lack of education "
You can search Yourself " which religion has highest fertility rate " , every article says Islam.☪️ ( no wonder Islam is the fastest **BREEDING** religion )

I personally don't prefer inter religion marriages (it's completely my personal view ) but I'm not against intercaste marriages. I myself have seen these marriages in my society and their children are very intelligent, healthy and resistant to diseases... they rarely fell ill. So if you do a love marriage, and you find your love in different caste, just go for it.. I bet your kids will be very smart and healthy .
Edit - one point I missed here is.. there are 4 gotras irrespective of caste.. we cannot marry with the same gotra even if the person is of different caste.

I met a parsi family in kalyan. He had a house on the first floor adjacent to a busy road. He worked in the court so he turned his hall into a xerox dukan where he made legal documents, gave legal counselling etc. I called him irani and he didnt like it. He went on to explain the difference between parsi and irani people. Very intense fellow.
Then one time while walking towards andheri stn with a friend discussing about shares, one parsi(maybe he was irani? idk) fellow behind us stopped us and gave a long lecture on shares and commodity trading. I was about 16 then so I have no idea what he said. We tried to make excuses and leave but that fellow wouldn't let us go and we got scared.
Those are the only two parsi interactions I have hehe

My conclusion is that all parsis are from Iran. But all Iranians are not parsi.
Like for example all Maharashtrian are Indian but not all Indian are Maharashtrian.
Also, Iranians that we see in India, came to India very recently. But parsis came to India around 1100 AD.

The relationship between cousins is not as close as that between siblings, but they still share a portion of their genetic material due to their shared family lineage. Generally, cousins share the DNA. While they are not siblings, they are indeed family members with a genetic connection.

10:20 Same caste marrige is not bad for genetics because every caste has sub-castes with their own gotra. I am a Rajput and there are dozens of other Rajput sub-castes with other gotra which can marry to other gotra Rajputs only. Same applies to other caste communities also.
Hindu caste and gotra system is scientific.
Hindu caste rules for avoiding inbreeding:
    1. Gotra system don't allow a hindu to marry in their paternal lineage.
    2. Gotra of mother, paternal grand mother and paternal great grand mother should be avoided for marrige .
    3. Hindu can't marry in their own village and maternal village is avoided for up to 7 generation for marriage.
    4. If a village marry their daughter to another village then they can't marry their boy to that village and vice-versa.

@prajnana Did the Hindu guy refuse to convert to Zoroastrianism? Maybe your friend and her husband can request to allow the husband to convert and become a Parsi. That way the community will not die out.
If the Parsis marry the majority and the majority partner doesn't convert, the Parsis will just be absorbed by the Hindu majority and the Parsi community will still go extinct.
      They need more converts.

    • @glurppuffloid9796

@@arecaraina5043 But then the Parsis will still go extinct.
If eg. a Hindu + Parsi = Hindu babies ( then the Parsis die out )
and a Parsi cannot marry a Non-Parsi, because if a Parsi marries a non-Parsi ( eg. a Hindu ) then both become Non-Parsis, since the original Parsi will be kicked out of the Community, so the Parsis still go extinct.
i.e. a Hindu Dad x Parsi Mom => Hindu Dad x Hindu or Non- Parsi Mom
and vice versa if the genders are flipped too.
Only way to keep the Parsis alive is if the Hindu partner becomes Parsi too ( then he/she can marry the original Parsi in a Parsi wedding )
that way you get +1 Parsi convert and the babies will be raised as Parsis.
if the partner refuses to convert.
then you have -1 Parsi ( the original Parsi is kicked out of the community ) and the babies are not considered Parsis, so you just lost a parsi and all the potential parsi babies that that person could've birthed/sired.
eg. A Hindu woman marries a Parsi man & has 2 babies.
      A) She converts:
      +3 Parsis ( 1 mom & 2 babies )
      B) She refuses to become Parsi
-1 Parsi ( the husband is kicked out and the babies = +0 new parsis )
so marrying outside the community only help if the non-parsi becomes a parsi.
or else you are just losing parsis faster.
Because being a Parsi is less about ethnicity and more about the religion of Zoroastrianism.

Indians don't mix genetically in similar groups which is why same gotra marriages are forbidden . Hence endogamy doesn't usually happen and India has extremely low population wise genetic disease occurrence .

Cousin marriage is different from marrying with in your own community. Please do not confuse the two issues. The Gothra system where marriage is prevented between people belonging to the same Gothra (and hence carry the same Y chromosome) ensures that inbreeding or consanguinity does not happen despite marrying within the same community. Inter caste and inter community marriages will not only bring about social integration, they would also lead to gene diversification. Gene diversification would result in fertile brains and healthier progenies.

The number of muslims died their by tolerant community rw then how pandits ignored it, also no one is saying kashmiri pandits exudos is correct but kashmiri pandits got many government facilities whereas many Indian muslims who faced 1947 kashmiri genocide and others masscares in different corners of India didn't get governmental schemes and benefits. Similarly France, France was one of the forces who forcefully took algerians as slaves and treated them badly and currently the migrants in the country are those whose country got attacked by foreign forces and France was one of them. Also they can't be use as an example to justify persecutions of Indian muslims. We are neither French nor Swedish. In addition to popular examples we have examples of tolerant community who did delhi riots, tripura 16 day violence, pangal masscare and many more. Should I use these examples to justify hate speech on hindus ??

Thank you @nikitaksthakur for highlighting a important yest highly underrated topic. But being a Parsi Zoroastrian I would like to high light certain points:
    1. When the Zoroastrians who fled Iran arrived in Sanjan, the King Jadi Rana impressed with them (see the story of milk and sugar) granted them asylum but on certain conditions.
    2. One of those conditions was that we will not allow conversion. That's the prime reason why marriages outside the community is not encouraged along with many other factors.
    3. Another reason contributing to our population decline is late marriages.

Sanatan Dharma has Gotra System. So Hindus, excluding some South Indian communities, cannot marry someone who share any common ancestor upto 6 generations, i.e. someone who is from their same gotra. This is why inter-cast marriage was discouraged because in that case, it's difficult to monitor the bloodline.

this might be offensive, but I think that the prosperity parsis enjoy today is hugely due to britishers. I don't want to undermine their hardwork and what they have achieved, but this shouldn't deviate us from the fact that britishers were the one's who destroyed our industries and only let parsis operate them because they were more "foreign" than us natives, in eyes of british. Wether it is the cotton and textile industry, or ship building industries, all were destroyed and taken away from Indians and only parsis were let to operate and own these businesses.
So the main reason why they are so prosperous today is because they were the only one of us spared by the british to operate and own industries and large businesses

    • @MsBurnitup

Parsis *may* have proposed because of the Britishers but they came to India 800 years before Britishers did. Before Britishers "hired them" Parsis were into opium and silk trade with China which was highly profitable and made them super rich. They were able to afford English education and were modernized back in the 18th century and since they could speak English they were preferred by the Britishers to work for them. Then what you say is true.

    • @user-nq5hy7vn9k
      @user-nq5hy7vn9k 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@MsBurnitup by that logic the many industrialists, skilled workers at the top, doctors, etc. would have also been able to afford that type of education and be "chosen" by British and even had expertise in many fields(like ship building and textile industries). The parsees didn't have anything special that any of the non-parsee lacked, except for being somewhat more foreign in comparison to the natives. The only reason British left the other prominent non-parsees out was because they were native Indians. The British even destroyed the silk and textile industries along with ship building and many other prominent industries we had.
Also don't know for silk, but for opium, east india company helped and even facilitated the parsee traders in the opium trade before the opium wars, when the Hindu traders refused to engage in such immoral and evil intentions of the company.
Again, I would not undermine the hard work, determination and resilience the Parsee community has shown, but we should not forget that they had a huge advantage of being non-native for which the british favoured them and easily gave them permissions and licenses necessary for operation of their businesses
